Global Glyphosate Herbicide Study Shows Adverse Health Effects on Children at "Safe" Dose

Glyphosate-based herbicide caused adverse health effects in rats at a dose claimed to be safe by regulators, according to a new study. Glyphosate herbicides are used on the vast majority of all GM crops worldwide.

The study used the US Environmental Protection Agency’s acceptable daily dietary exposure level of glyphosate – 1.75 mg per kg of bodyweight per day. The same concentration was given to the rats daily over a 3-month period.

The study was focused on the newborn, infancy and adolescence phases of life. The results reveal that glyphosate-based herbicide (GBH) was able to alter certain important biological parameters, mainly relating to sexual development, genotoxicity, and the intestinal microbiome.

The effects occurred at a dose deemed safe by regulators to ingest on a daily basis over a long-term period. In human-equivalent terms the dosing period corresponded to the period from the embryo stage to 18 years of age.

As Merck's Gardasil U.S. Sales Decline Profits Continue to Increase as Vaccine is Launched in China

The pharmaceutical marketing trade publication, Fierce Pharma, announced this month (May 2018) that Merck has beat Wall Street expectations for their Gardasil vaccine sales during the first quarter of 2018, achieving 24% growth with $660 million for the HPV vaccine.

The report notes that sales in the U.S. are declining, attributing the decline in sales to the CDC decision to reduce their recommendation of the Gardasil vaccine to be only two doses, instead of three.

Nothing is mentioned about declining public opinion regarding Gardasil, nor the numerous lawsuits against the company outside the U.S.

The increase in sales for Gardasil is attributed to their entrance into the China market.

The original vaccine won Chinese approval last year, while late last month the Chinese FDA granted Gardasil 9 a conditional approval only nine days into a review.

U.S. Taxpayer Funds Used To Develop and Market Merck's Gardasil Vaccine Global Empire

It is no secret that huge conflicts of interest exist between vaccine promoters and vaccine makers.

Pediatrician and vaccine developer Paul Offit, for example, who is one of the nation’s leading promoters of mandatory use of government recommended vaccines, holds a $1.5 million research chair at Children’s Hospital in Philadelphia, funded in part by Merck.

Julie Gerberding left her post as Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), where she oversaw the creation of national vaccine policies, to head Merck vaccines.

Former Texas governor Rick Perry recommended state-wide inoculation of all 11- and 12-year-old girls with Merck’s Gardasil vaccine after his chief of staff left to work at Merck.

Just as disturbing are the millions of dollars that officials at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) dole out to academic institutions and vaccine manufacturers to improve vaccine technology, find new, lucrative markets and boost vaccine marketability—functions that guarantee the profitability of corporations, but do not always ensure the well being of taxpayers, the public and patients.

Today, taxpayer-supported research to develop new drugs and vaccines is voraciously patented by universities and drug companies for outsized Wall Street profits when the research rightfully belongs to taxpayers.

Development of the human papillomavirus (HPV) Gardasil and Cervarix vaccines is a case in point.

The initial research was funded by the NIH, National Cancer Institute, University of Rochester, Georgetown University and the University of Queensland, which licensed them to Merck and GlaxoSmithKline.

In 2015, Merck made $1.9 billion on its Gardasil franchise.

FBI: Texas Doctor Who Gave Patients Chemotherapy, Toxic Medications is Indicted for Fraud

A story out of Texas is making its way through the corporate-sponsored “mainstream” media regarding a doctor who has been indicted for fraud, because he allegedly “violated his oath to do no harm by administering unnecessary chemotherapy and other toxic medications to patients with serious diseases,” according to Assistant Attorney General John Cronan.

To those of us in the Alternative Health media, who report on these toxic treatments for diseases like cancer, it is very telling what these indictments admit as factual: 1. Vulnerable people had real diseases. 2. These people were prescribed dangerous “chemotherapy and other toxic medications.”

The “crime” alleged in this case seems to simply be that “false diagnoses” were used to prescribe these toxic medicines to sick people.

The question that begs to be answered here is how are the actions of this doctor significantly different from the actions of other doctors prescribing “chemotherapy and other toxic medications” every single day?

Pharmaceutical companies manufacturing these drugs are the largest class of criminal organizations in the world, based on criminal settlements for fraud by the United States Justice Department. (Housing & Financial Fraud comes in a distant second.)

These toxic and dangerous drugs are kept legal by the federal Food and Drug Administration (FDA) which actively suppresses any competing natural cure that has no dangerous side effects.

While some doctors might claim “innocence” based on ignorance, the fact remains that they are accomplices to these crimes when they prescribe toxic drugs manufactured by known criminal organizations.

When a person talks on a cell phone or looks at a smartphone display, the eyes receive a large dose of microwave radiation.

The eyes of ten-year-old children absorb five times more cell phone radiation than the eyes of adults, and the eyes of five-year-old children absorb 12 times more than adults.

These calculations were made in 1996, long before the implementation of the modern 3G, 4G and 5G microwave communication systems and the more powerful phones that use these systems.

Philadelphia Family Court Judge Exposed and Charged with Illegal Medical Kidnapping

A state appeals court has accused a Pennsylvania judge of “judicially created parental alienation” and a failure to provide due process when she kept a baby in “protracted foster care” after receiving no explanation for broken ribs and then terminated parental rights.

The judge, Lyris Younge of Philadelphia Family Court, abused her discretion when she refused to place the child known as N.M. in the care of a grandmother, according to the May 4 decision by the Superior Court of Pennsylvania.

Younge also refused to allow the child’s mother to be represented by two lawyers at once, and refused to allow introduction of expert medical reports that attempted to explain N.M.’s broken ribs, the court said.

Judge Younge has a history of violating parental rights in her courtroom, but because family court records and rulings are kept confidential on a non-public docket—unless appealed—they do not draw scrutiny.

New Study: Vaccines Linked to Decline in Mental Health and Social Interaction - A Cause of Increase in Mass School Shootings?

A recently published study in the journal Brain, Behavior, and Immunity titled Low-Grade Inflammation Decreases Emotion Recognition – Evidence from the Vaccination Model of Inflammation links low-grade inflammation to a decrease in mental health and human social interaction.

Health Impact News found the study to be of great significance, because the researchers have not only proven that there is a link between vaccinations and social impairment, but that there could also be a link between vaccinations and depression, which may explain why U.S. News recently reported that between 2013 and 2016, the diagnosis of depression had risen by 33 percent in the U.S. alone.

Furthermore, the results of this study made us question whether or not the vaccinations could be behind the increase in mass violence, particularly school shootings, where the shooter is often profiled as being socially deviant and on psychiatric drugs.

Big Pharma Cannot Explain Why People with Very High LDL Cholesterol Have No Cardiovascular Disease and Live Long Lives

If your hypothesis is that all swans are white, the discovery of one black swan refutes your hypothesis. That is how science works. Or at least that is how science should work. In the real world, scientists are highly adept at explaining away contradictions to their favoured hypotheses. They will use phrases such as, it’s a paradox, or inform you that you didn’t measure the correct things or say there are many other confounding factors – and suchlike.

Anyway, accepting that the finding of someone with a very high LDL level, and no detectable atherosclerosis, will always be dismissed – in one way or another – I am still going to introduce you to a ‘case history’ of a seventy-two-year-old man with familial hypercholesterolaemia, who has been studied for many, many, years. Try as they might, the researchers have been unable to discover any evidence for cardiovascular disease (CVD) – of any sort.

The paper was called ‘A 72-Year-Old Patient with Longstanding, Untreated Familial Hypercholesterolemia but no Coronary Artery Calcification: A Case Report.’

And just in case you believe this is a single outlier, something never seen before or since, let me introduce you to the Simon Broome registry, set up in the UK many years ago to study what happens to individuals diagnosed with familial hypercholesterolaemia (FH). It is the longest, if not the largest, study on FH in the world.

It has mainly been used as one of the pillars in support of the cholesterol hypothesis. However, when you start to look closely at it – fascinating things emerge. One of the most interesting is that people with FH have a lower than expected overall mortality rate – in comparison to the ‘normal’ population. Or, to put this another way. If you have FH, you live longer than the average person.

Mother's Day Reunion: Military Dad and Mom Reunited with Children 3 Years After Kansas Took Them Over Medical Cannabis

Shortly before Mother’s Day 3 years ago, on April 26, 2015, the Department for Children and Families (DCF) in Kansas seized 5 children from Raymond and Amelia Schwab over false allegations.

Now, just before Mother’s Day 2018 – 3 years later – their nightmare is officially over. The children are home and the case against them is finally closed.

The final closure of the case was not expected to happen for another 2 months, but the unexpected email arrived Thursday, May 10, 2018 to announce the good news.

Even so, Raymond told Health Impact News that even this is not really a “win” because they lost so many years with their children. Those are years they can never get back.

Health Impact News has previously reported that, under DCF care, at least one of the Schwab children was sexually assaulted, and others were abused.

The parents want to encourage other parents who are fighting for their children:

“We’ve just got to keep up the fight and hope that our story inspires people to never give up. Never quit. Never surrender.”

The part of fighting DCF to get their children home is indeed over. But the battle for families is not over by any means. Raymond and Amelia Schwab and Jennifer Winn have each stated that they intend to keep fighting for justice for all families.

Whooping Cough Outbreaks Continue Nationwide Due to Failed Pertussis Vaccine

Once blamed on unvaccinated children, few today deny the fact that fully vaccinated children are spreading whooping cough as outbreaks continue across the U.S.

One of the latest outbreaks has occurred in North Carolina, where Carteret County health officials have warned parents to be on the lookout for whooping cough.

Kim Davis, the Nursing Director for the Carteret County Health Department, was interviewed by WITN and readily admitted that all the cases have been in fully vaccinated children, and that the vaccine does not offer protection:

“Every case that we’ve had, that we’ve seen so far, has been vaccinated. So you can’t take for granted that just because your child’s been vaccinated for pertussis that they don’t have the capability of contracting it.”

The pertussis vaccine is supposed to protect against whooping cough, and even though health officials now acknowledge that the vaccine is not effective, it is still required.

“Health Department officials also tell us that it is required for children to get vaccinated for pertussis…”

Gates Foundation Buys Cochrane Integrity for $1.15 Million: The Death of Scientific Integrity

With a $1.15 million “donation” – chicken feed for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation – they have purchased the Cochrane seal of “science-based reviews”.

Study: Virgin Coconut Oil Reduces Aβ Plaques, Inflammation, and Oxidative Stress Associated with Alzheimer's Disease

A study published in August 2018 in the journal Food and Chemical Toxicology confirms what many people have already discovered: coconut oil can improve or even reverse the effects of Alzheimer’s Disease.

This is believed to be the first peer-reviewed study to examine coconut oil’s effect on Alzheimer’s Disease.

The title of the study is “Virgin coconut oil (VCO) by normalizing NLRP3 inflammasome showed potential neuroprotective effects in Amyloid-β induced toxicity and high-fat diet fed rat.”

Researchers from Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences and Hamadan University of Medical Sciences in Iran used rats in a laboratory to study “the effects of virgin coconut oil (VCO) on inflammasome and oxidative stress in an Alzheimer’s model.”

Their study found that the rats fed VCO “improved hippocampus histological changes, reduced Aβ plaques and phosphorylated Tau.” (Phosphorylated Tau is a biological marker for Alzheimer’s Disease.)

They concluded that virgin coconut oil “showed potential neuroprotective effects.”

From the study conclusion:

“Virgin Coconut Oil improves the health of the hippocampus and improves memory and learning in Alzheimer and HFD model rats by inhibiting inflammasome and reducing oxidative stress.”

Another CDC Vaccine Scandal: Data Showing Chickenpox Vaccine Causes More Harm than Good Concealed from Public

A March 2018 article in the Annals of Clinical Pathology describes CDC’s suppression of inconvenient research findings pertaining to its Universal Varicella Vaccination Program.

The author, an independent computer scientist, outlines in morbidly fascinating detail the “collusion” between CDC and its local public health partner to conceal unwanted chickenpox vaccine outcomes from the public.

His effort revealed two clearly negative consequences of the varicella vaccination program:

1. Widespread chickenpox vaccination had “accelerated the recurrence of shingles in children who had had natural chickenpox” to rates higher than those published “in any historical study.” Previously, “such high HZ incidence rates were…associated with older adults, not children.”

2. The mass varicella vaccination program also had “increased the likelihood of shingles recurrence in adults.”

Neither finding was palatable to the public health agencies eager to publicize their vaccination program as an unmitigated success.

2-Year-Old Girl Taken Away From Parents Because Military Vet Dad Chose Medical Cannabis Over Dangerous Psych Drugs for PTSD

Parents Ashley and Edward Thomas of Idaho recently had their 2-year-old daughter taken out of their home, as police arrested them and locked them up in jail.

Their crime?

Edward is a disabled military veteran who suffers from PTSD after serving in a combat role in Iraq. Not doing well with toxic pharmaceutical drugs, which many reports link to an alarming increase in suicide rates among veterans, Edward turned to medical cannabis to ease his stress and stop his seizures.

In many states, this would be perfectly legal, as most states are moving towards approving legislation for the medical use of marijuana, if not decriminalizing entirely.

But not in Idaho. Idaho is the home of these young parents, however, who need the support of their family in their home state.

Now Edward and his pregnant wife face a future as branded criminals as the State of Idaho takes custody of their children.

Protesters at Psychiatric Conference Want Ban on Electroshock Treatment Torturing Children

The mental health watchdog Citizens Commission on Human Rights (CCHR) New York protested psychiatry’s ongoing use of electroshock treatment (ECT), especially on toddlers and children when it marched on the annual conference of the American Psychiatric Association (APA) in New York on Saturday, May 5.

CCHR’s international headquarters, based in Los Angeles, supported the protest and the need for a ban on all uses of electroshock. It said thousands of adult patients have condemned ECT as causing them brain damage and memory loss. Such physical abuse, if committed by anyone but a psychiatrist, it says, would constitute a crime, and when given to children should be meted the highest penalties.

Through recent Freedom of Information Act requests filed with U.S. states, CCHR established what has been withheld from Americans for years—that children aged five and younger are being electroshocked. Autistic children are also undergoing it, despite the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) never approving ECT’s use for autism. One autistic teenager was electroshocked 260 times.

Doctors Recognizing Increased Diseases from Air Pollution by Chemicals Sprayed into Our Atmosphere

Since 1990, Alzheimer’s and other neurological diseases have been rising rapidly all over the world, as has environmental pollution. The same holds true for respiratory diseases, according to the WHO (World Health Organization).

Fracking, vehicular emissions, coal-fueled electric energy plants, and others are all contributors to environmental pollution.

However, there’s one air polluter that’s more ubiquitous than all the above put together. It appears high above our atmosphere in the stratosphere. It’s very noticeable to the naked eye from the ground, but hardly recognized for what it is by most and denied as anything unusual by most government sources.

It’s the deliberate spraying of chemicals into our atmosphere by aircraft to create artificial clouds designed by scientists in the field of geoengineering. The actual clouds that appear in the sky are called chemtrails or persistent contrails.

New Documentary "Human Zoos" Shows How African People Were Brought to the U.S. and Displayed in Cages as Less Than Human

When one thinks of the concept of “eugenics” most people think back to the atrocities of Nazi Germany and the genocide of ethnic cleansing during the Hitler regime.

What most Americans do not realize is that the “scientific” field of study known as “eugenics” originated in the United States, being inspired by Darwinian evolution, and is responsible for terrible social and racial injustices here in the U.S. before Hitler’s atrocities that occurred during WWII.

And the “scientific” field of eugenics is still alive and well today, even though the term “eugenics” is no longer popular.

Part of America’s dark eugenics past is the story of how indigenous African people were kidnapped from their villages in the early 1900s and brought to America as “freaks,” displayed as “missing links” to Darwin’s theory of human evolution, and displayed to the public in cages at Public Fairs and Zoos.

The Discovery Institute has produced a new documentary about this dark period of America’s past called “Human Zoos.” Here is a synopsis:

Almost 40% of American Families at Risk to Have Their Children Kidnapped by the State - Over 50% if You Are Black

A stunning number of American children are subjected to at least one Child Protective Services investigation by the time they reach 18 years old. According to a study published by the American Journal of Public Health, almost 4 out of every 10 American children will experience some kind of social worker investigation into allegations of child abuse or maltreatment at some point in their childhood.

The rate is even higher for African American children (53.0%).

Alarm bells should be sounding for every family in America.

According to the 2010 Census, there are 74.2 million children under 18 in the United States. If 37.4% of American children will be investigated by Child Protective Services, at some point, by the time they turn 18, that means that the strong arm of the law, via social workers, is investigating almost 28 million children.

Odds are strong that your children or your sister’s or best friend’s children will be investigated.

Will the social worker be one who believes that they are justified in lying about you? Will the allegations be made up? Will they be from a doctor that the court will believe over you, no matter how much evidence to the contrary you have?

Do you have the money to hire an attorney to help you fight? Will your newborn be deprived of vital bonding time and breastfeeding? Will your child be abused or trafficked in foster care while you fight in court? Will you lose family and friends in the face of accusations of things you never did?

The High-fat Ketogenic Diet for Cognitive Health: Proven Remedies for the Alzheimer's Epidemic

The failure of Big Pharma to develop an Alzheimer’s drug has been well-documented in the corporate-sponsored “mainstream” media.

As Alzheimer’s diagnoses continue to increase, drug companies are scrambling to develop the next big drug to market to seniors. In modern times, the most successful drugs in sales, so far, have been cholesterol-lowering statin drugs, as one out of every five people over the age of 50 are now taking drugs to lower one’s cholesterol, raking in billions of dollars for pharmaceutical companies.

The sick irony to this is that lowering one’s cholesterol artificially is directly linked to declining cognitive health and diseases such as Alzheimer’s, since 25% of one’s total cholesterol is located in the brain.

The failed scientific hypothesis behind these drugs is that cholesterol is a cause of heart disease, and that diets high in saturated fats contribute to high cholesterol.

However, the actual science shows almost the opposite, and when one looks at death rates, for example, lower cholesterol rates do not equate to longer life – in fact the converse is true: higher cholesterol levels lead to longer life spans.

The pharmaceutical industry and the U.S. government cannot afford to reverse their warnings against saturated fats and cholesterol, however, as it would be the same as confessing that the entire statin drug industry has been a scam, and that statin drugs actually cause more harm than good.

This is the main reason why the USDA must continue supporting a low-fat diet and condemning saturated fats, even though the science does not support their positions.

It is no surprise, therefore, to learn that peer-reviewed scientific studies continue to show that the high-fat ketogenic diet supports cognitive health and can help prevent or reduce cognitive diseases such as Alzheimer’s.

Texas Foster Care: "Rape, Abuse, Psychotropic Medication, and Instability" Still the Norm as State Fights Against Reform

The battle continues between the State of Texas and attorneys who represent more than 12,000 children in the state’s foster care system. A panel of three judges in the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans heard arguments Monday, April 30, about the constitutionality of the state’s troubled foster care system.

This is the latest chapter in a fight to change the system in which, according to U.S. District Judge Janis Graham Jack, “… children have been shuttled throughout a system where rape, abuse, psychotropic medication, and instability are the norm.”

After Judge Jack ruled in December 2015 that the system as it stood was unconstitutional, Texas Attorney General Kenneth Paxton appealed the decision, defending the state’s foster care system.

Many of the original plaintiffs in the lawsuit, who were formerly foster care children, have now become adults and aged out of the system and are missing.

The San Antonio Express ran a story looking into what has happened to these Texas foster children who aged out of the system, and they found that most of them suffer unemployment, homelessness, and sex trafficking as adults.

Study: Increased Rates of Cervical Cancer in Sweden Linked to Increase in HPV Vaccinations

A new study published in the Indian Journal of Medical Ethics examined cervical cancer rates among women in Sweden and discovered a link between increased cervical cancer rates among women aged 20-49 during a two-year period between 2014 and 2015, corresponding to increased HPV vaccination rates in this population group, years earlier, when mass HPV vaccinations started in Sweden.

Women above the age of 50, during this two-year period, saw no significant cervical cancer increase, as they probably would not have been vaccinated with the HPV vaccine.

Since the study casts doubt on the efficacy of the HPV vaccine, and, in fact, links the vaccine to increased cancer rates, it is highly unlikely you will read about this in the U.S. corporate-sponsored media, where nothing negative about the blockbuster HPV Gardasil vaccine is allowed.

Argentine Study Links Glyphosate Herbicide to Miscarriage, Birth Defects

People living in an Argentine town in the heart of the GM soy and maize growing area suffer miscarriages at three times and birth defects at twice the national average rate, a new study shows. In addition, the study found a correlation between a high environmental exposure to glyphosate and an increased frequency of reproductive disorders (miscarriage and birth defects).

Study: Pneumococcal Vaccine for Middle-aged and Older Adults Increases Risk for Pneumonia and Death

Medical professionals from Spain have just published a study (April 2018) on the 13-valent pneumococcal conjugate vaccine (PCV13) that is routinely given to older adults to protect against pneumonia. The study was published in the journal BMC Infectious Diseases.

The medical researchers in Spain conducted the study to determine if the vaccine was effective or not in preventing hospitalization from pneumonia.

The study was a population-based cohort study that looked at over two million people over the age of 50 residing in Catalonia, Spain. They looked at both vaccinated and unvaccinated adults, noting those who were hospitalized for pneumonia and those who died from any cause.

The results of their study concluded that not only did the PCV13 vaccine not reduce the risk of pneumonia, it actually increased the risk among those vaccinated: “In this study, the large differences in outcomes between PCV13 vaccinated and unvaccinated suggest that vaccinated persons were sicker.”

The study also found that the mortality rate was 60% higher in the vaccinated population (5,944 per 100,000) than in the unvaccinated population (2,354 per 100,000).

Vitamin D More Effective than Pharmaceutical Drugs in Treating Herpes Virus

Half of teens and adults under the age of 50 are infected with the oral herpes virus, and one in eight has genital herpes. Despite the prevalence of herpes, public health authorities ignore a cheap, safe, and effective treatment for this common infection, and instead rely on expensive medicines that do not treat the underlying problem. This, unfortunately, is par for the course in our crony health system.

Everywhere you look, conventional medicine is singing the same tune: the Mayo Clinic, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the National Institutes of Health all say that even though there is no cure for herpes, the best way to prevent or treat the symptoms is with antiviral medications like acyclovir (sold under the trade name Zovirax), famciclovir (Famvir), or valacyclovir (Valtrex). There is even a herpes vaccine in development—although the FDA has launched a criminal investigation into the (now deceased) lead researcher, who allegedly injected his experimental vaccine into human subjects without following safety protocols.

Parents File Federal Civil Rights Lawsuit Against Minnesota Because CPS Kidnapped Their Children

This past week (April 2018) a group of Minnesota parents filed a federal civil rights lawsuit accusing Dakota County and the State of Minnesota for kidnapping their children and placing them unnecessarily into foster care.

The lead plaintiff in the lawsuit is Dwight D. Mitchell, who founded an association of parents called Stop Child Protection Services From Legally Kidnapping, which has about 250 members in Minnesota.

Mr. Mitchell and several parents held a press conference at the State Capital last week, and Mr. Mitchell was interviewed by several local media sources.

Mr. Mitchell explains how he had his three children removed from his home because a family babysitter reported him to CPS for a “bottom spanking” with one of his children. It took him almost 2 years to get his son back home.

Global Joint Statement from 5 Nations Meeting in Japan Exposes Injuries and Discrimination Against HPV Vaccine Victims

The dangers of the Gardasil HPV vaccine are routinely censored in the U.S., where the official medical and government position on the vaccine is that it is “safe and effective.”

Study: Baking Soda Anti-inflammatory - Daily Dose May Fight Autoimmune Diseases

There was a time, decades ago, when doctors would prescribe bicarbonate of soda, aka baking soda, mixed with water to patients suffering from influenza or other temporary ills.

Now its efficacious use is known by only a handful of holistic medical practitioners. Though not part of the medical establishment’s “standard of care,” which if not followed can result in an MD’s loss of license to practice, bicarbonate of soda has been used by paramedics and ER attendants for extreme emergencies. A handful of MDs have even discretely used it on kidney patients to augment or avoid dialysis.

Texas Neurologist is Rare Breed: "Serial Medical Whistleblower" Fights Corruption at Expense of Own Career

Robert Van Boven saves peoples’ lives. He also pisses people off.

The Lakeway (Austin, Texas) neurologist, currently embroiled in a years-long legal combat with the hospital that once employed him, the state agency that attempted to end his career, and a range of lawyers and officials who believe they can wear him down and defeat him, has a long record of getting crossways with the authorities.

In one professional position after another, he has consistently refused to go along to get along, and his resistance has cost him dearly. He is described by most fellow professionals as an extraordinarily accomplished doctor – among other distinctions, he was a member of the legendary 1987 Johns Hopkins surgical team that performed a groundbreaking procedure to separate conjoined twins.

But he has also repeatedly clashed with institutional expectations, rules, and administrators – and met with recurrent retaliation, most recently severe enough that he fears he may never be able to practice medicine freely again.

A selected list of the results of Van Boven’s whistleblowing include a 2007 settlement with a Minnesota medical facility over its retaliation against him for reporting hospital harm; a 2010 settlement with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs over retaliation for his reports of mismanagement at a VA neurology facility at Pickle Research Campus (Austin); a brief 2010 dismissal from a Defense Department research appointment (reassigned after a public outcry); and most recently (2016-present), an ongoing legal dispute with LRMC and its successor, Baylor Scott & White Med­ical Center-Lakeway, and the Texas Med­ical Board, temporary but devastating restrictions on Van Boven’s medical practice, and an eventual exoneration last December.

“I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to practice medicine again,” he said some months ago. “But I’ll be damned if I’m going to let these bastards destroy me.”

Official Canadian Data Show That There Is More Autism in Regions Where Vaccine Coverage Is Highest

Rates of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) continue to soar worldwide, with average prevalence estimated to be around 1.5% in developed countries. This estimate appears to be spot-on for Canada, which reported in March 2018 that autism (as of 2015) affected 1 in 66 children and youth (1.52%). These numbers place Canada among the “top ten” for autism among North American, European and Asian countries.

ASD prevalence in 2015 varied among the seven regions, with the highest prevalence noted in the three provinces of Newfoundland and Labrador (1 in 57), Prince Edward Island (1 in 59) and Quebec (1 in 65). In comparison, prevalence was substantially lower in the Yukon territory (1 in 125).

What might explain the variation in ASD prevalence within Canada’s borders?

The NASS report does not offer any comments.

However, an observant health practitioner in British Columbia has noticed a compelling parallel: autism prevalence is highest in the Canadian provinces that also have the highest vaccination coverage.

The Drugging of American Seniors: Big Pharma Profits Depend on Sick Seniors

As the “baby-boomer” generations move into their senior years, they are seen as a “cash-cow” for pharmaceutical companies.

For example, it is estimated that about one out of every four Americans over the age of 55 are currently being prescribed cholesterol-lowering statin drugs, in spite of the evidence that these drugs do not prolong lifespans, and have very serious side effects.

Studies have confirmed that dementia, especially early onset dementia, is often caused by too many pharmaceutical drugs.

A Harvard Medical School publication, “Guide to Coping with Alzheimer’s Disease,” states:

“Medications are common culprits in mental decline. With aging, the liver becomes less efficient at metabolizing drugs, and the kidneys eliminate them from the body more slowly. As a result, drugs tend to accumulate in the body. Elderly people in poor health and those taking several different medications are especially vulnerable.”

As people age, they wind up taking, on average, more than four prescribed pharmaceutical drugs daily.

Many of these medications are for heart disease prevention by lowering cholesterol and also for lowering blood pressure. These drugs are intended to be taken till death.

The side effects from those drugs alone can create the need for more prescriptions.

The pharmaceutical business model depends on sick customers staying sick, not healing them.

Is Monsanto Influencing the EPA to Ignore Health Hazards of Herbicide Glyphosate?

The Environmental Protection Agency is seeking public input on the health impacts of glyphosate, the active ingredient in Monsanto’s Roundup herbicide. But despite mounting evidence, the EPA continues to ignore glyphosate’s hazards, and it looks like Monsanto’s under-the-table influence may be a reason why.

Monsanto has launched a campaign to pressure the EPA into declaring glyphosate safe. It is terrified of losing the profits from selling this ubiquitous herbicide.

The use of glyphosate on U.S. farmland has exploded in recent years. A recent study found that Americans’ exposure to the pesticide has increased fivefold since it was first introduced more than 20 years ago.

Merck Fighting Fraud Lawsuits in U.S. Courts on MMR and Gardasil Vaccines

Pharmaceutical giant, Merck, is facing charges of fraud in lawsuits filed in U.S. courts regarding their vaccine products.

This is important information for the public to know, given the fact that the ever-growing vaccine market is expected to exceed $70 billion within the next few years, and that many states are trying to pass legislation to mandate vaccines without informed consent, all in the name of “the greater good” for public health.

Federal government agencies tasked with protecting public health, along with the corporate “mainstream” media, which reportedly receives up to 70% of its advertising revenue from pharmaceutical companies, continue to censor any negative information regarding vaccines that could affect sales.

And since one cannot sue a pharmaceutical company for damages or deaths due to vaccines in the United States, where they enjoy legal immunity, it is rare that a pharmaceutical company faces a day in court related to corruption or fraud for bad vaccine products.

Therefore, one needs to turn to either the alternative media such as Health Impact News, or the foreign media outside the U.S., to learn about the dangers of vaccines, and the corruption behind many of them.

There are currently two major federal lawsuits against Merck that are being litigated in U.S. courts: a whistleblower lawsuit from former Merck scientists claiming fraud regarding the MMR vaccine, which has been in the courts for eight years now, and a lawsuit against the Gardasil vaccine claiming fraud from a 16-year-old girl who allegedly suffered Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) after receiving the Gardasil vaccine.

American Doctor Kicked out of Africa for Healing Ebola with Ozone Therapy Instrumental in Creating International "Ozone Without Borders"

In April 2018, a non-profit humanitarian international NGO (non-government organization) was formed called Ozone Without Borders (OWB).

This newly formed NGO has ozone and other oxygen therapies as its cornerstone for educating about and applying non-pharmaceutical treatments without discrimination from medical monopoly agents.

American Dr. Robert Rowen, an ozone therapy specialist, was instrumental in the organization’s formation.

In October of 2014, Dr. Rowen and his colleague, Dr. Howard Robins gathered up donated medical ozone producing equipment and headed into the internationally highly-publicized epicenter of an Ebola breakout, Sierra Leone, a small nation on the western coast of Africa, at their own risk and cost.

He immediately sought to train some of the local doctors treating Ebola victims. A few had already become infected themselves, and they were the first to be offered ozone therapies.

Immediate positive results were observed within 48 hours. Three victims with confirmed to have recovered completely and an infected fourth who was asymptomatic did not succumb to the disease.

Despite these early successes, the Sierra Leone Minister of Health decreed the Rowen/Robins project be halted, and condemned some of the doctors. Apparently, inexpensive and effective ozone therapy which cannot be patented was a threat to Big Pharma and their desire to develop Ebola drugs and vaccines. They were ordered not to treat patients anywhere in Africa.

As a result, in what Dr. Rowen claims was a “crime against humanity”, many people died.

Study: Coconut Oil and Other Natural Products Kill Antibiotic Resistant Clostridium Difficile

With the rise of antibiotic resistant pathogens, researchers are turning their attention to natural products in hopes of finding cures outside of the patented pharmaceutical paradigm for fighting disease.

In a study just published in Journal of Applied Microbiology, Australian researchers studied 22 natural products and their ability to inhibit the spore cycle of Clostridium difficile.

Clostridium difficile (C. diff) is mostly incubated in hospital settings, is antibiotic resistant, and very contagious. It can create life-threatening inflammation of the colon.

The Australian researchers tested 22 natural products in vitro, and found that three of them “showed inhibitory effects on sporulation of C. difficile.

Effects on sporulation, determined using microscopy and a conventional spore recovery assay, showed that fresh onion bulb extract (6.3% v v-1 ) and coconut oil (8% v v-1 ) inhibited sporulation in all four isolates by 66-86% and 51-88%, respectively, compared to untreated controls.

Fresh ginger rhizome extract (25% v v-1 ) was also inhibitory, although to a lesser extent.”

British Cardiologist: Big Food and Big Pharma are Killing Millions of People

Federal Agencies and Public Health Experts Refuse to Declare Autism a National Health Crisis

It is both astonishing and insulting that, nearly three decades in, federal agencies and public health experts persist in denying and refusing to tackle our nation’s staggering autism epidemic.

With typical dismissiveness (and a straight face), one group of pediatric researchers recently had the temerity to put the word “epidemic” in quotes while endorsing the charade that the rising prevalence of autism is attributable to broader diagnostic criteria, increased awareness and “the inclusion of milder neurodevelopmental differences bordering on normality.”

The government’s own surveys—as well as parents, school systems and municipal budgets—tell an entirely different story, however.

Autism spectrum disorders (ASDs) began skyrocketing in the late 1980s, concurrent with a massive expansion of the childhood vaccine schedule and a corresponding increase in children’s exposure to neurotoxic vaccine ingredients such as mercury and aluminum.

Over the years, many of the CDC’s bulletins about ASD prevalence have placidly reported that “ASDs are more common than was believed previously.”

However, the continued dramatic rise in ASD prevalence and autism’s heavy burden on individuals, families, schools and wider society call for a far greater sense of urgency.

Autism must be recognized as a national crisis.

As of this writing (April 2018), the CDC is due to release its latest ADDM surveillance numbers.

Will our federal health agencies continue to downplay the numbers’ significance, as they have done each time the data show a rise in ASD prevalence? Or will they finally sound an alarm and make it a top priority to find out what is causing this epidemic in our children?

Study: Shaken Baby Syndrome Diagnosis Lacks Scientific Evidence - Leads to False Accusations of Child Abuse

There has been an increase in recent years in the number of cases of Shaken Baby Syndrome and Abusive Head Trauma. Is this due to an increase in the number of child abusers, better recognition of the symptoms which leads to more accurate diagnoses, or is something else happening? Could it be that increased awareness of Shaken Baby Syndrome in the medical profession has led to overdiagnosis of abuse when there could be other explanations for the symptoms?

If it is the latter, then there stands a good chance of innocent parents or caregivers being blamed, perhaps criminally, for something that they did not do.

At Health Impact News we have covered many cases of parents who were arrested or lost their children to Child Protective Services after being accused of Shaken Baby Syndrome or abuse even though there are legitimate medical conditions accounting for the symptoms.

In what is believed to be the first study of its kind, researchers in Sweden set out to examine this crucial question. They published their findings in the European Journal of Public Health on Tuesday, April 17, 2018: Infant abuse diagnosis associated with abusive head trauma criteria: incidence increase due to overdiagnosis?

This study follows up Sweden’s Council on Technology and Social Evaluation and their National Medical Ethics report in 2016 that concluded the science behind SBS is not credible.

Leaked Memo Reveals Military Anthrax Vaccine Responsible for Injuries - VA Claims "Fake News"

Benjamin Krause is a lawyer, investigative reporter, award-winning veterans advocate, and the founder and chief editor of DisabledVeterans.org.

Krause recently published a leaked memo from the Department of the Army admitting that during a 6-year period, from 2001 through 2007, many soldiers were vaccinated with a bad batch of the anthrax vaccine.

The purpose of the memo was to inform these veterans that they might be entitled to Veteran Affairs (VA) benefits due to the anthrax vaccine.

The memo “leaked onto social media” and allegedly prompted the Massachusetts Department of Veterans’ Services to address the memo, calling it a “fake memo” and a “SCAM.”

However, Krause reports that the memo was digitally signed and nearly impossible to fake:

“A PDF of the memorandum, drafted by a person named Patrick McGrath II was digitally signed using a DOD certificate authority, and that its contents are ‘not subject to repudiation because the certificate chain is intact,’ according to attorney Francis White, III, a former US Air Force compliance inspector for information technology.

I spoke with White, a colleague of mine in the same office, about his professional impression of the memo and his statement above.

White says faking the signature using a DOD CA certificate chain is nearly impossible in this context, “the digital signature on that memo is valid” and the related documentation shows it “was signed by an individual named Patrick Steven McGrath II, and is not subject to repudiation…”

White says that does not mean McGrath had the authority to circulate the memo to the public, but it does show the memo “cannot be summarily dismissed as fraudulent,” contrary to the suggestion of MDVS secretary Urena.

Basically, since the memo is valid, it likely originated from the 2ndBattalion located in South Korea implicating soldiers stationed at Ft. Campbell and Fort Drum from 2001-2007.

Study: Cholesterol-Lowering Statin Drugs Increase Risk of ALS Lou Gehrig’s Disease

A recent study connecting increased statin drug use with rising ALS was discussed by Dr. Malcom Kendrick. He had followed earlier similar studies with similar concerns, but this one confirmed Dr. Kendrick’s suspicions.

ALS (Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), is also known as motor neuron disease (MND), or Lou Gehrig’s disease.

The study of concern is Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Associated with Statin Use: A Disproportionality Analysis of the FDA’s Adverse Event Reporting System. It was published by the journal Drug Safety in April of 2018.

The researchers at the University of California (San Diego) and Advera Health Analytics, Inc., Santa Rosa, California teamed up to analyze data from the FDA Adverse Event Reporting System (FAERS) to determine what is known as reporting odds ratios (RORs) involving statin drugs users who have reported ALS symptoms.

This study, which allegedly had no outside funding, concluded:

“These findings extend previous evidence showing that significantly elevated ALS reporting extends to individual statin agents, and add to concerns about potential elevated occurrence of ALS-like conditions in association with statin usage.”

"Mental Illness" Label Used to Medically Kidnap Mother and Try to Adopt Out Her Children

Tara Chapman, a 33 year old disabled mother, was handcuffed, drugged, and carted away to a facility that is 8 hours from her family. She is being held prisoner in Tennessee under the guise of mental illness, even though a mental hospital in Virginia recently said that she did not meet the criteria to commit her.

The state of Tennessee wants Tara’s three boys to stay in foster care, away from family. The family wants to know how far the state is willing to go to ensure that neither Tara nor her family gets her 3 children back? A fourth child, Tara’s daughter, is being cared for by her mother Whitney, the children’s grandmother, but the state refuses to allow the grandmother to care for the 3 boys.

There was supposed to be a court hearing on Friday, April 13, 2018, but the juvenile court cancelled it without warning less than 24 hours before.

Tara has suffered from mild mental illness for many years, but it was only after her children were seized by Child Protective Services and abused in foster care that her mental health deteriorated to the point where she qualified for disability.

It would appear that the state of Tennessee is using her disability as an excuse to adopt out her children, even though her family is willing and able to care for the children.

Illinois Wants to Use Taxpayer Funds to Advertise Dangerous Flu Shot to School Children

Illinois legislators will take up a bill this week (April 17, 2018 at 3:00 PM) that uses taxpayer funds to advertise the dangerous flu shot to school children.

Given the fact that Illinois laws already require school children to visit their doctors before attending school where their family physician can educate them on matters like vaccination, and that the CDC does NOT include the flu shot in their schedule of required vaccines, this proposed bill in Illinois can only be explained as an attempt to expand the market for the seasonal flu shot at the expense of Illinois school children, but to the benefit of Big Pharma.

The annual flu shot is, by far, the most dangerous vaccine in the United States, accounting for more than 80% of all injuries and deaths compensated by the federal Vaccine Court.

Carrageenan Approved by USDA for use in Organics in Spite of Links to Intestinal Inflammation, Cancer and Diabetes

A highly controversial natural food substance, carrageenan, a seaweed derivative used in conventional, “natural,” and some organic foods, was just reapproved by USDA Secretary Sonny Perdue.

This move overrides the recommendation of the National Organic Standards Board, an expert industry panel set up by Congress.

After hearing from medical and scientific experts describing carrageenan’s link to intestinal inflammation, cancer, and other human health risks, the NOSB voted to remove carrageenan from the list of approved synthetic and non-organic substances for use in organic food production.

In a move unprecedented during the last quarter century of organic industry rulemaking, the USDA ignored the NOSB vote in the Federal Register without an opportunity for the public to comment on their decision before it goes into effect.

“This is the latest instance of the Trump/Purdue administration siding with powerful agribusiness interests. They are running roughshod over the will of Congress that established the NOSB as a buffer to insulate organic regulations from corrupt corporate lobbyists,” said Mark A. Kastel, Senior Farm Policy Analyst at The Cornucopia Institute, a Wisconsin-based nonprofit that acts as an organic industry watchdog.

Adults Medically Kidnapped: 3X More than Children in Foster Care - $50 BILLION in Assets Seized

Most of the stories that we cover at Medical Kidnap involve children who were taken from their families by Child Protective Services. However, medical kidnapping can happen to adults too.

We have covered a number of stories of adults being taken by Adult Protective Services and being placed under the legal guardianship of strangers.

Philly.com now reports that a woman who has been court-appointed as a guardian in at least 93 cases from 2015 to 2017 has a considerably criminal history of fraud, bad check writing, and forgery.

Yet, Gloria Byars was the guardian recommended by the non-profit Philadelphia Corporation for Aging to oversee the lives and estates of many senior citizens in the Philadelphia area.

Guardians in many states are not required to undergo background checks, and it is stunningly easy in some places for anyone to become a guardian. It is also stunningly easy for an unscrupulous person to allege that a person is “incapacitated” and in need of a guardian, even if it is not true.

As reported by Philly.com:

“Nationwide, guardians oversee an estimated 1.3 million adults and $50 billion of their assets, said Brenda Uekert, principal court research consultant at the National Center for State Courts.”

That means that [the] number of adults under guardianship care is roughly 3 times the number of children in foster care across the United States. According to the AFCARS report from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, there were 437,465 children in foster care in 2016.

Sexual Crimes by Psychiatrists 37 Times Greater than Rapes in General Community

With studies showing an average of 6 to 10 percent of psychiatrists and psychologists sexually abusing their patients, including children as young as three, Citizens Commission on Human Rights (CCHR) is encouraging victims of such abuse to contact it and speak out.

Coinciding with April being Sexual Assault Awareness Month, CCHR also launched a petition calling for uniform laws to prosecute sexual harassment and assault of mental health patients, calling the problem catastrophic.

The sexual crimes committed by psychiatrists are estimated at 37 times greater than rapes occurring in the general community, one U.S. law firm stated, estimating that about 150,000 female patients have been assaulted.

CCHR, a mental health watchdog, points to studies showing that mental health practitioners abusing their patients are often repeat offenders.

A U.S. national survey of therapist-client sex involving minors also revealed one out of 20 clients who had been sexually abused by their therapist was a minor, with girls as young as three and boys as young as seven.

Clinicians have compared psychotherapist-patient sexual involvement to rape, child molestation, and incest, putting victims at increased risk of suicide, according to the study, “Psychotherapists’ Sexual Relationships with Their Patients” in Annals of Health Law.

The findings of a national study of 958 patients sexually abused by their therapist suggested that 90% were harmed and of those, only 17% recovered. About 14% of those who had been sexually involved with a therapist attempted suicide.

FDA Has Acknowledged That Vaccine Technology is Outpacing Ability to Predict Adverse Events

Recently, top-tier autoimmunity researchers described vaccine safety science as a “hazardous occupation.”

In their view, this is because uncompromising vaccine proponents are instantly ready to mount vociferous personal attacks on anyone who raises questions about any aspect of vaccine safety, even if the questions are buttressed by impeccable, high-quality science.

Vaccine safety was not always such a taboo topic. In 1961, a leading polio researcher put forth the view in Science that “even after licensing, a new vaccine product must be considered to be on trial” because of the many “new variables” that accompany large-scale vaccine production and rollout.

A leading Food and Drug Administration (FDA) official contended in 1999 that modern advances in vaccine technology were rapidly “outpacing researchers” ability to predict potential vaccine-related adverse events” and argued for closer attention to safety issues from the earliest stages of vaccine development.

“One of the important things is that the technology used to make these vaccines actually exceeds the science and technology to understand how these vaccines work and to predict how they will work,” stated Dr. Peter Patriarca, MD, Director of the Viral Products Division of the FDA Center for Biological Evaluation and Research (CBER).

“So this has the potential for ending up in a situation which I call a ‘black box’ vaccine referring to a situation of unforeseen and unpredictable vaccine outcomes.”

Dr. Patriarca also voiced concerns that with live attenuated vaccines

“there is the potential for these vaccines, many of which have been poorly characterized, to recombine with viruses that may be present in the vaccine.

Some of these viruses are latent and persist for a while, so it is very important to assure that these things are safe before they are given to people.”

In the two decades since the FDA official’s prescient words of warning, numerous published studies have highlighted vaccine safety concerns that were either unexplored or neglected prior to the introduction of the vaccines in question.

World Health Organization Moving Towards Recommending Cannabis for Medical Purposes

In late December 2017, the WHO (World Health Organization) issued a statement from its Expert Committee on Drug Dependence (ECDD):

“Recent evidence from animal and human studies shows that its use could have some therapeutic benefit for seizures due to epilepsy and related conditions. Current evidence also shows that cannabidiol is not likely to be abused or create dependence, such as for other cannabinoids (such as Tetra Hydro Cannabinol (THC), for instance).”

Now that the WHO’s own Expert Committee on Drug Dependence is heading for a final meeting in June to finalize its decision on CBD and review other whole-plant cannabis products for medical purposes, the FDA has been put into a position where it’s forced to conduct a public survey for input on marijuana’s medical efficacy and safety.

Florida Mom Seeks 2nd Opinion on Dying Newborn After Car Accident - Loses Custody of All Three Children and Baby Dies in State Care

When an 8 month pregnant mother arrived at the hospital after a car accident, her baby was clearly in trouble. Doctors allegedly seemed to be more concerned about Johnna Furman’s broken wrist than the emergency facing her unborn baby. Her baby needed to be born quickly, but the delay of a necessary c-section resulted in life threatening lack of oxygen to the baby in the womb.

Baby Gabriel was born with brain damage and other serious medical conditions allegedly arising from this lack of oxygen.

Throughout his first week and a half of life, doctors at the University of Florida Shands Hospital told Johnna that her baby would not survive.

She refused to accept that answer.

When she tried to transfer care of her baby to a local children’s hospital for a second opinion, doctors from Shands Hospital reported her to Child Protective Services.

While doctors blamed the mother, Johnna says that it was their medical malpractice that resulted in brain damage to her baby, ultimately leading to his death, and that the hospital is covering up what they did by blaming her.

Child Protective Services seized her baby and her other 2 children 11 days after the car accident.

Evidence that would have proven her innocence was not heard by the Florida judge, who is known for approving over 30,000 adoptions, and her parental rights were terminated less than a year later. She had another baby the following year, but Florida seized custody of that baby, too.

In a video that Johnna recorded to talk about her case, she said:

“My family’s gone. I can never have another child.

I don’t understand how this is supposed to be the American dream, that justice doesn’t matter. The truth doesn’t matter.”
