    Ok folks, put down your TV remotes, log out of your Netflix and Hulu accounts for a little while, and listen to these 3 podcasts by freelance journalist Jon Rappoport if you want to understand what is probably really going on with COVID19 and the disruptions to our lives and economy. Jon Rappoport has been an a journalist for 38 years. He has written articles on politics, health, media, culture and art for LA Weekly, Spin Magazine, Stern, Village Voice, Nexus, CBS Healthwatch, and other newspapers and magazines in the US and Europe. In 1982, the LA Weekly submitted his name for a Pulitzer prize, for his interview with the president of El Salvador University, where the military had taken over the campus. These were just published yesterday (April 2, 2020), and at the end of my long day late at night, when I was tempted to turn on my TV to relax for a bit just before retiring for the night, I decided to instead listen to the first podcast, because I knew from following Rappoport for years that what he had to say would most likely be more interesting and riveting than anything I would watch on TV, and keep me awake even though it was late at night. I was correct, and my intention to just listen to Part 1 was easily overcome as I could not help but listen to all 3 parts before ending my day. I don't think you will hear anything like this anywhere else, and it is worth your time to listen to what Jon has to say, and then share it with everyone you know.

        Mises Institute: End the Shutdown

        The shutdown of the American economy by government decree should end. The lasting and far-reaching harms caused by this authoritarian precedent far outweigh those caused by the COVID-19 virus. The American people—individuals, families, businesses—must decide for themselves how and when to reopen society and return to their daily lives. Neither the Trump administration nor Congress has the legal authority to shut down American life absent at least baseline due process. As Judge Andrew Napolitano recently wrote, business closures, restrictions on assembly and movement, and quarantines are not constitutionally permissible under some magic “emergency” doctrine. At a minimum, the federal government must show potential imminent harm by specific infected individuals at some form of hearing or trial. These due process requirements are not suspended. Government cannot decide what aspects of our lives are essential or nonessential. The American people cannot simply sit at home and wait for government checks written on funds that government does not have. End the shutdown.

            Fear over the coronavirus is gripping the nation and world, as within a short period of time life around the globe has drastically changed very suddenly. It is especially concerning when one of my colleagues in the alternative media, without even contacting me directly, publicly demands that we retract one of our articles authored by a medical doctor, simply because this person believes his view of the current situation is the only correct view. I do not pretend to be an expert on medical science, which is why Health Impact News publishes alternative views by medical doctors and other scientists who are experts in their field. During difficult days like the ones currently facing us, I believe the public has a right to read all sides of the issue and make up their own minds. Caution is certainly prudent, but fear? Among all this fear, where is faith in God? The opposite of fear is "faith." Have we lost our way as a nation? Does the phrase inscribed on our currency "In God we Trust" mean anything anymore? Faith in God does NOT mean we will not face difficult times. On the contrary, often those who are most faithful face the most difficult trials in life. Faith in God means we trust that there is a stronger power than ourselves controlling the affairs of humanity, and that if we trust in him, he will give us the strength to endure whatever trials come our way.

              New York Hospitals Treating Coronavirus Patients with Vitamin C

              Seriously sick coronavirus patients in New York state’s largest hospital system are being given massive doses of vitamin C — based on promising reports that it’s helped people in hard-hit China, The Post has learned. Dr. Andrew G. Weber, a pulmonologist and critical-care specialist affiliated with two Northwell Health facilities on Long Island, said his intensive-care patients with the coronavirus immediately receive 1,500 milligrams of intravenous vitamin C. Each dose is more than 16 times the National Institutes of Health’s daily recommended dietary allowance of vitamin C, which is just 90 milligrams for adult men and 75 milligrams for adult women. The regimen is based on experimental treatments administered to people with the coronavirus in Shanghai, China, Weber said. “The patients who received vitamin C did significantly better than those who did not get vitamin C,” he said. “It helps a tremendous amount, but it is not highlighted because it’s not a sexy drug.” A spokesman for Northwell — which operates 23 hospitals, including Lenox Hill Hospital on Manhattan’s Upper East Side — said vitamin C was being “widely used” as a coronavirus treatment throughout the system, but noted that medication protocols varied from patient to patient.

                      Because of my background as an epidemiologist and Cochrane researcher, and my involvement in the H1N1 outbreak, I often get stopped in the street, or in a bar, or the gym, and asked about covid-19. The questions are usually: how long does it take for the symptoms to manifest? How can I avoid it? Is it serious?  I live in Italy, the third most hit country in the world, my youngest children go to school locally, and my grandchildren are due to come over to Italy soon to see us. The tone of my answers is usually dismissive. I explain the nature of influenza-like illnesses, the fact that it is a syndrome, there is not a single cause, and the gallery of “culprits” increases as time goes on. But it is mysterious, it comes and goes. That is why it is called influenza, as our forefathers ascribed its waxing and waning to the influenza degli astri, or “influence of the planets.” Meaning they had not a clue as to where and how it started and where it went. We are still clueless. There is, however, one question that my Italian friends often ask me to which I have no answer: how is this different from the seasonal influenza-like illnesses we are used to? I cannot answer my nagging doubts, there does not seem to be anything special about this particular epidemic of influenza-like illness.

                          Six Year Olds Ripped from Schools, Involuntarily Committed and Forcibly Drugged

                          A 6-year-old girl was removed from a Florida school for being disruptive and committed to a behavioral health center for a psychiatric evaluation without her parent’s knowledge.  She was held for two days and allegedly injected with an antipsychotic. Citizens Commission on Human Rights International, a 50-year mental health industry watchdog, warns that the U.S. education system and parental rights are being usurped with psychiatric and psychological practices. Schools, they assert, are used as feeder lines into a mental health system, which profits from this.  CCHR was responding to an incident where a licensed counselor with the school determined that Nadia, aged 6, was a candidate for involuntary detention under Florida’s Baker Act. The special needs child reportedly threw some chairs in a tantrum. But according to the Atlanta Black Star, a police body camera video, the girl behaved calmly as she was escorted from school by police. At one point, she asked officers if she was going to jail and was assured, no. The officer seemed skeptical of the school’s reason for calling 911. “She’s been actually very pleasant,” she noted. “I think it’s more of them not wanting to deal with it,” said another officer. Martina Falk, Nadia’s mother, was alerted only after her daughter was committed and said the nearly two-day mandatory stay at the psychiatric facility did more harm than good.

                            Thousands of Farmers to Join Lawsuit Against Monsanto/Bayer and BASF Over Weedkiller Dicamba

                            Thousands of farmers from multiple states are expected to join mass tort litigation pending in federal court over claims that weed-killing products developed by the former Monsanto Co. and other chemical companies are destroying and contaminating crops, including organic production, a group of lawyers and farmers said on Wednesday. The number of farmers seeking legal representation to file suit against Monsanto and BASF has surged over the last week and a half after a staggering $265 million jury award to a Missouri peach farmer who alleged the two companies were to blame for the loss of his livelihood, according to Joseph Peiffer of the Peiffer Wolf Carr & Kane law firm. Peiffer said more than 2,000 farmers are likely to become plaintiffs.

                              Coronavirus: Who is Controlling the Information? Are Potential Government Actions More Dangerous than the Actual Virus?

Merck pharmaceuticals, the manufacturer of the MMR vaccine, saw sales soar as a result of the publicized "measles outbreak." Other diseases that were promoted by fear-based corporate media outlets in recent years include: Ebola, Zika, Bird Flu, Swine Flu, and many others. And yet, here we are today at the beginning of 2020 with no history of massive casualties in the U.S. due to these "outbreaks."                                 FDA Considers Black Box Warning for all Breast Implants After Doctors Report Side Effects Including Cancer and Death

                                In March 2019, at an FDA conference about breast implants, women, doctors and surgeons shared harrowing stories of complications connected to receiving implants after a mastectomy. “I experienced extreme exhaustion, rapid weight gain, paralyzing brain fog,” Julie Elliot testified. “I was completely bedridden, waiting to die,” said Terry Diaz, who described herself as a breast implant survivor. “I couldn’t even walk up a flight of stairs.” The women said their implants caused these issues. Others experienced an even more serious complication: A rare form of cancer called breast implant-associated anaplastic large cell lymphoma, or BIA-ALCL, in which lymphoma develops in the tissue around the implant. “Life as I knew it ceased to exist,” Terry McGregor, a BIA-ALCL survivor, told the FDA panel. “Four years ago, I was diagnosed with ALCL from breast implants that were six years old. My diagnosis was stage four. The joy of life was cut short by a profit-driven, man-made cancer." The FDA released more findings about BIA-ALCL in July, months after the conference. According to U.S. and global medical device reports, there have been 573 reports of BIA-ALCL. Thirty-three patients died.

                                  California Doctor Reports Hospitals in China are Open to Ozone Treatments to Fight Coronavirus

                                  Folks, the coronavirus outbreak is worsening. Tens of millions in China are on lockdown. There are outbreaks in the USA and quarantines on military bases. The disease process seems to be getting clearer. This disease can take the young and healthy. It spreads very rapidly and quickly. The death rate in clusters has been as high as 4% but seems to be in the 2% range. It can be transmitted long before symptoms appear. The N.Y. Times article cites medical journals’ (considered "prestigious") reports on this virus, and the director of the NIH. For your information, the manuscript I posted on my office website was improved, and totally referenced, and submitted to these journals for publication as commentary. No interest. It was also forwarded to the same head of the NIH. No response. It was sent to the Chinese embassy in DC. There, I did get a response from a health person who promised to transmit it to the mainland. I have contacts in China. The situation is so bad that hospitals are at last open to ozone therapy and the 10-pass technique in an effort to save lives.

                                    Coronavirus Mysteriously has HIV Glycoprotein Inserts not Present in any other known Coronavirus

                                    Folks, this coronavirus epidemic is getting more interesting and possibly scary. In this just published research, investigators found that that “spikes” exist in this strain not present in any other known coronavirus. Furthermore, these inserts are the same as certain glycoproteins in the HIV-1 virus. The authors state this is “unlikely to be fortuitous.” I am NOT a virologist. I am a clinician, and I humbly but honestly believe that I have far better clinical answers for problems like this than most all of conventional medicine combined. I want to follow this trail as it suggests something possibly diabolical could have transpired in China. While our Congress is wasting time, energy, and lots of money in a vain effort by one party to remove the elected president of another party, it seems much better use of such energy could go into understanding what is going on and finding some REAL protection for our people.                                       Kellogg Pledges To End Pre-Harvest Use of Weedkiller Glyphosate on Grains – Too Little Too Late?

                                      Last year (2019), a report published by The Environmental Working Group (EWG) showed that virtually all of America’s breakfast cereals, consumed primarily by children, are contaminated with the toxic herbicide, glyphosate. Glyphosate is the active ingredient in Monsanto’s RoundUp, and has been linked to cancer. Juries in recent court cases have awarded billions of dollars in damages to cancer victims who were exposed to glyphosate. This week, EWG is reporting that Kellogg is pledging to stop using glyphosate in the harvesting of grains by 2025. Kellogg's pledged to work with its wheat and oat suppliers to end the use of the herbicide, sold under the name Roundup, as a pre-harvest drying agent in all of its major crop markets, including the U.S., by 2025, according to a statement published on the company’s website and reported on by the Washington Post. While this is encouraging news that Kellogg will eventually phase out its usage of glyphosate, it is impossible for any company producing products from American grains to remove glyphosate from their products today. Even getting the other cereal producers like General Mills and Quaker to stop their grain farmers from using glyphosate to desiccate will not solve the problem. The reason for this is because even USDA certified organic grains in the U.S. today are contaminated with glyphosate, as are conventional crops that do not spray their crops with glyphosate at harvest. So how do you find food that is not contaminated with glyphosate?
