Cancer is big business. The FDA (Food and Drug Administration) will not allow any natural cures to compete with their “approved” drugs.
In 2014, there was an estimated 1,665,540 new cancer cases diagnosed and 585,720 cancer deaths in the US. $6 billion of tax-payer funds were cycled through various federal agencies for cancer research, such as the National Cancer Institute (NCI). The NCI states that the medical costs of cancer care are $125 billion, with a projected 39 percent increase to $173 billion by 2020.
To find non-toxic alternative cancer treatments, many of which are used successfully outside the U.S. in Europe and elsewhere but banned in the U.S, one must read the alternative media.
Ketogenic Diet and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Research
There have been many studies published in the last few years on the use of the ketogenic diet in treating cancer. The ketogenic diet is a high-fat, carbohydrate-restricted diet with moderate amounts of protein.
The ketogenic diet as a therapeutic diet is not new. It has been around at least since the 1920s, when researchers at Johns Hopkins discovered that the diet could cure some children from epileptic seizures where drugs had failed.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT), particularly in combination with a ketogenic diet, has also been seen as successful in treating cancer in recent studies:

The FDA has not approved the use of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy in treating cancer, however, and doctors using it could risk losing their license to practice medicine.
A new report just published in PLOS One (June 10, 2015) looks at the promise of using both the ketogenic diet and HBOT in treating metastatic cancer:

Despite 50 years of intensive research, cancer remains the second leading cause of death in the United States. This is largely due to a lack of therapies effective for long-term management of metastatic disease, a dilemma underlined by inadequate preclinical models. In this study, we evaluated the efficacy of a novel, non-toxic combination metabolic therapy—the ketogenic diet, ketone supplementation, and hyperbaric oxygen—in a syngeneic mouse model of metastatic disease which we believe reliably reflects the human metastatic phenotype. Our study suggests that this combination therapy presents a safe, cost-effective, adjuvant to standard care which could provide novel therapeutic options for patients with late-stage cancer. We believe that it is critically important to evaluate non-toxic adjuvant therapies like these, and to look for synergistic potential with other metabolic therapies and standard care. It is possible that we already possess therapeutic options which could significantly improve patient prognosis or outcome when delivered in the appropriate combinations.

We Lost the War on Cancer – Review of Alternative Cancer Therapies
We have lost the war on cancer. At the beginning of the last century, one person in twenty would get cancer. In the 1940s it was one out of every sixteen people. In the 1970s it was one person out of ten. Today one person out of three gets cancer in the course of their life.
The cancer industry is probably the most prosperous business in the United States. The simple fact is that the cancer industry employs too many people and produces too much income to allow a cure to be found. All of the current research on cancer drugs is based on the premise that the cancer market will grow, not shrink.
