Pumpkin Seeds are Anti-Cancer and Provide Many Other Health Benefits

When Halloween is approaching and through Thanksgiving, pumpkins are sighted everywhere. From Thanksgiving through the Christmas holidays pumpkin pies are popular. But few know that there are diabetes and cancer fighting properties in pumpkins, as well as inflammatory reducing and immune boosting properties. Pumpkins and pumpkin seeds contain cucurmosin, which is a type of inactivating protein. It is part of the Cucurbita moschata species, which includes pumpkin and squash that have developed the cucurmosin to protect the species from pathogenic microbes and fungi. Cucurmosin has been shown to induce apoptosis in various cancer cells tested. Pumpkin pie consumed on a daily basis is not the healthiest approach for taking in cucurmosin. Pumpkin seeds can be eaten daily. Raw organic shelled pumpkin seeds are available inexpensively in most health food stores or online.

Study: Lauric Acid from Coconut Oil Inhibits Cancer Cell Growth Without Affecting Healthy Cells

A study published this month (September 2017) by researchers from the Department of Pharmacy, Health and Nutritional Sciences, at the University of Calabria in Rende, Italy, and from the Department of Health Sciences at the University Magna Graecia in Catanzaro, Italy, looked at the anti-cancer activity of lauric acid, the main fatty acid found in coconut oil. While coconut oil continues to get slandered in the U.S. by those with close ties to the pharmaceutical industry, research mainly outside the U.S. continues to show how healthy coconut oil can be, dispelling the common saturated-fat-is-bad myth still being promoted in the U.S. The study title is: "The lauric acid-activated signaling prompts apoptosis in cancer cells," and it was published in the journal "Cell Death Recovery." The study looked at the effects of lauric acid in both breast cancer and colon cancer: "The saturated medium-chain fatty-acid lauric acid (LA) has been associated to certain health-promoting benefits of coconut oil intake, including the improvement of the quality of life in breast cancer patients during chemotherapy. As it concerns the potential to hamper tumor growth, LA was shown to elicit inhibitory effects only in colon cancer cells. Here, we provide novel insights regarding the molecular mechanisms through which LA triggers antiproliferative and pro-apoptotic effects in both breast and endometrial cancer cells." Coconut oil is nature's richest source of lauric acid, by far, comprising almost 50% of the fatty acids in coconut oil. Human breast milk comes in a distant second at around 6% lauric acid. Lauric acid has a rich and long history of fighting pathogens, and has been a popular food preservative for many decades. Perhaps the most significant observation documented in this study was the ability of lauric acid to target cancer cells but not affect healthy cells, unlike most chemotherapy drugs: "Lauric Acid inhibited the viability of both cancer cell types without altering the growth of MCF-10A normal breast epithelial cells, thus suggesting its specific potential to trigger antiproliferative effects in malignant cells."

Vitamin C Stops Cancer

There are continual advances in science (as well as always some controversy), but new research supporting vitamin C's potential in preventing the advancement of several forms of cancer is some of the most promising and remarkable that's emerged in a while. More specifically, vitamin C may stop leukemia stem cells from multiplying, which could prevent certain forms of blood cancer from advancing, the journal Cell reveals, along with pancreatic, colon, liver and ovarian cancers, according to several other notable medical journals and scientific reports.

Study: Chemo Drugs Actually Cause Cancer

A new study published this month (July 2017) confirms what most who are not entrenched in mainstream oncology’s viewpoint of cancer treatment by chemo drugs have already pointed out: Chemo drugs are carcinogenic, and they actually cause cancer. This is actually the second study published in modern times showing that the very drugs prescribed for cancer treatment, actually cause cancer. The first study in 2012 didn’t raise much of a mainstream media stir, but the most recent study in 2017 made it into London, England’s mainstream press. This recent coverage also referenced the earlier 2012 study to further put the situation into perspective. The 2017 media press coverage also rode on the coat tails of a recently publicized study showing that too many cancer patients in England were dying from chemo and not their cancers.

EU Authorities Broke Own Rules – Ignored Evidence of Cancer to Keep Glyphosate on Market

A new report by the toxicologist Dr Peter Clausing shows that the EU authorities violated their own rules and disregarded evidence that glyphosate is carcinogenic to reach a conclusion that the chemical does not cause cancer. The EU authorities reached the conclusion that glyphosate is not carcinogenic by disregarding and brushing aside evidence of cancers in experimental animals and by violating directives and guidelines that are supposed to guide their work, according to a new report by the German toxicologist Dr Peter Clausing. The report shows for the first time that glyphosate should have been classified as a carcinogen according to the current EU standards. This would mean an automatic ban under EU pesticides legislation. However, the EU authorities disregarded and breached these standards, enabling them to reach a conclusion that the chemical is not carcinogenic.

Evidence that Medical Cannabis Can Cure Cancer Continues to Grow

Recent scientific research in France has determined cannabinoid receptors exist on mitochondria cells. This news has not reached mainstream media outlets and seems to be underreported even by alternative health sites on the internet. This author only recently discovered the information after doing several articles on cannabis for curing many diseases, especially cancer. The internal endocannabinoid system with its two sets of cannabinoid receptors, C1 nervous system receptors and C2 immune system receptors, was discovered over two decades ago. These receptors allow cannabinoids from cannabis to attach their health giving attributes to various internal physiological systems. But the French mitochondrial discovery seems to be the key to understanding why cannabis is able to handle several different diseases, including cancer. Without this, skeptics can become more skeptical about all those cannabis cure reports and think of cannabis as snake-oil medicine and an excuse to get “high.” Also, many others will be duped into using mainstream medical methods that have very poor cure histories with many adverse side effects before desperation drives them toward cannabis or any other alternative method.

Laetrile From Apricot Seeds: The Cancer Cure Suppressed by Big Pharma

You may have read or heard somewhere that laetrile, a condensed purified extraction of apricot seed kernels sometimes sold as B-17 tablets, can cure cancer safely, without serious side effects. Yet mainstream medical “experts” and news sources derisively label it as worthless and toxic. It can kill you they say, adding there’s no scientific proof it helps rid one of cancer. The FDA has banned laetrile’s use in the USA, but there are several cancer clinics in Mexico that use it, inviting many medical tourists from the USA and elsewhere to take advantage of Mexico’s health freedom. That food source is apricot seed kernels. The kernels are actually inside the large apricot pits. It’s what the cancer free Hunzas in a valley of the high northern mountain region of Pakistan use heavily as part of their diets. These kernels contain a compound known as amygdalin, which is also commonly found in apple seeds, bitter almonds, and several other seeds and foods. But the apricot kernels have the highest concentration of amygdalin. Laetrile is extracted and purified from those kernels to enable injections or IV feeds. Many cancer patients have had success by consuming 25 to 40 apricot seeds heavily chewed in small amounts daily for a few months or less.
