Grass-Fed Traditions, part of the Tropical Traditions and Healthy Traditions network, has announced that it is offering bison bone stock to the public.
The stock is sourced from the bones of grass-fed bison that are raised on pastures that are never treated with chemical fertilizers, pesticides, or herbicides. These magnificent animals yield bones that are perfect for making a nutrient dense stock.
On March 16, 2016, the Burmese newspaper The Irrawaddy reported that three babies had died and 25 others had become seriously ill after receiving hepatitis B vaccinations from the Bago General Hospital in Burma. According to the report, the babies who became ill shortly after receiving the vaccination all suffered from symptoms of blood poisoning.
The hepatitis B vaccine is a vaccine that was developed for the prevention of hepatitis B infection. In 1981, the first hepatitis B vaccine came into use, but was discontinued in 1990 because it was an “inactivated” vaccine and involved the collection of blood from hepatitis B virus-infected (HBsAg-positive) donors.
However, despite the introduction of a “safer” vaccine in 1986, adverse reactions continued to mount. In 1996, the U.S. alone reported that there had been 872 serious adverse events in children under the age of fourteen who had received the hepatitis B vaccine. Out of these, 48 children were said to have died. When you compare these figures to the lower figure of 279 children under the age of fourteen years who actually contracted the hepatitis B infection in the same year, one has to consider whether the vaccine was proving to be more dangerous than the threat of contracting the actual disease.
Currently there are over 415,000 children in foster care in the U.S. today, according to the 2014 Adoption and Foster Care Analysis and Reporting System (AFCARS).
What if you accepted that foster care was not a decision made “in the best interest of the child” but rather a financial decision made in the best interest of the state? What if you realized that the majority (75%) of children being removed from their home and placed into foster care was not due to imminent danger of abuse, but rather due to poverty, and are now being abused by the foster care system?
What if you acknowledged that many of the foster homes these children are being placed into was worse than the one from which they had been removed? “As a parent with a child who has autism, I’m concerned,” Robert De Niro said on the Today Show on April 13. “I want to know the truth. I’m not anti-vaccine. I want safe vaccines.”
De Niro got visibly upset as he spoke. Upset about the way the mainstream has shut down the conversation about vaccines and autism. Upset that he had to make the quick decision—which he seemed to say he now regrets—to pull the documentary Vaxxed from this year’s Tribeca Film Festival. And upset about his now 18-year-old son who has autism.
“The vaccines are dangerous to certain people who are more susceptible, and nobody seems to want to address that. Or they say they’ve addressed it and it’s a closed issue,” De Niro said. “There’s more to this than meets the eye, believe me. There is something there that people aren’t addressing.”

This whistleblower says that this family is a safe and loving family who has done nothing wrong, yet they are suffering at the hand of a corrupt system, a system that is right now seeing some of its own social workers criminally prosecuted by Los Angeles D.A. Jackie Lacey in the Gabriel Fernandez death.
A department that during business as usual allegedly accepts “orders for children”–taking children away from their loving families to adopt them out for financial gain–while on the other hand is caught ignoring the cries of a young boy being tortured to death may not be a department that works in the best interest of children and their families.
Academy Award winning actor Robert De Niro appeared on the Today Show to discuss the beginning of the Tribeca Film Festival. De Niro appeared with Tribeca co-founder Jane Rosenthal.
De Niro defended his original decision to include the film “Vaxxed” in the film festival, which was later reversed, and encouraged everyone to see the film, as well as another film called “Trace Amounts.” He expressed regret at having to exclude the film, but stated he did not want the Festival affected by the controversy.
Jane Rosthenthal, the co-founder of the Tribeca Film Festival, then made the shocking statement that the film was pulled from the film festival not because of pressure from sponsors, but because other film-makers threatened to pull out of the festival:
“There weren’t sponsors or donors that were threatening to pull out of the film festival, but these were film makers, and we’re known for having amazing documentary films… It was our film makers that were pulling out.”
De Niro replied: “I find that amazing, and we’re going to talk about that.”
In defense of the film industry and freedom of speech, De Niro went on to state:
“All I wanted, was for the movie to be seen. People can make their own judgement, but you must see it.”
A recent study published in the American Journal of Physiology challenged a long-held belief that high fat diets contributed to colon cancer. The authors of the study correctly stated that the lipid profile of the fats being consumed is very important to understand: “High-fat-diet (HFD) consumption is associated with colon cancer risk. However, little is known about how the lipid composition of a HFD can influence pro-oncogenic processes.”
This study out of the University of South Carolina looking at the effects of saturated fats on colon cancer is a very welcome study, and many more similar theories about the “dangers” of high fat diets should be challenged and looked at more carefully, studying the lipid composition of the fats being consumed.
The conclusions of their experiments showed that a high fat diet rich in saturated fats, specifically coconut oil, protected against colon cancer.
Coffee’s affect on general health has been considered mostly negative for decades. But recent years have seen more reports and studies pointing to beneficial health effects from consuming coffee on a regular basis.
Despite a recent epidemiological study that alluded to longer life without dangerous diseases among those who drank five or more cups daily, moderation and understanding one’s own physiological reaction tolerance is basic for managing coffee’s health benefits beyond risks.

The Japan Times recently reported that a class action lawsuit will be filed after June 2016 against the Japanese government, Merck and GlaxoSmithKline by victims who have suffered severe side effects as a result of receiving the former government recommended HPV vaccine (Gardasil and Cervarix.) Twelve plaintiffs will file the lawsuit at four district courts in Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka and Fukuoka.
The plaintiffs are demanding answers as to why they were not informed of the risks of HPV vaccine prior to receiving it. The defense team will be hosting seminars in the next two months in hopes of seeking additional plaintiffs.
Unlike in Japan where vaccine-injured victims can directly file a lawsuit against the state and the vaccine manufacturers, the judicial process in the U.S. for vaccine-injured victims of HPV and other government recommended or mandated vaccines is remarkably different, to say the least.
Under current U.S. federal law, no one can directly sue a vaccine manufacturer in civil court after a vaccine causes the injury or death of a minor child or adult, as they are protected by law against any liabilities due to faulty vaccines that cause death and injuries.

Hunter Todd — the festival Chairman & Founding Director of WorldFest-Houston — reported that he received threatening calls from “high government officials” pressuring him to not show the Vaxxed film.
“…after very threatening calls late yesterday from high Houston Government officials – we had no choice but to drop the film” Todd’s letter went on to state that: “Heavy handed censorship, to say the least…they both threatened severe action against the festival if we showed it, so it is out. Their actions would have cost us more than $100,000 in grants. The mayor asked that it be removed from the lineup. I believe Judge Emmett did the same. The film festival is being funded in part through a grant from the City of Houston. The mayor felt it inappropriate for the city to endorse an event that would be screening a film that is counter to the city’s efforts to ensure children receive vaccinations.”

Just before 11:30 am on Saturday morning, police arrested Amelia Schwab, wife of Raymond Schwab, who is the Navy veteran dad who went on a 17 day hunger strike at the Kansas state capitol in an effort to get their children free from child protective services custody. The strike ended only as a federal lawsuit was filed against Kansas DCF (Department for Children and Families).
Raymond and Amelia and some of their supporters have been spending time at a local cafe which has wi-fi access. Amelia had just left from there when police pulled her over to arrest her. Raymond speculates that they may have been trying to see if there was any marijuana in the car. (There wasn’t.)
Health Impact News called the police department, which confirmed that Amelia Schwab has been arrested on a bench warrant for a battery charge, dated May 11, 2015. Her bond is $674.
Interestingly, the police appear to have learned about the bench warrant from an anonymous tip, according to Raymond Schwab.
When we spoke with Raymond, he said that this was around the same time as the bogus charges that he was arrested for recently. No charges were ever actually filed against him, and he was released on his own recognizance after spending a brutal night in jail on March 24. He sees the arrest of his wife as further harassment and intimidation, and the trumping up of bogus charges.
It is a story of friendship and betrayal. A local (GALLATIN, TN) mother said her baby was taken from her by a government worker who she said used her position to gain trust.
A judge (recently) ruled on that mother’s quest to get her baby back.
Last year California became the first state in the U.S. to remove the religious exemption for childhood vaccines, in spite of overwhelming opposition from parents, doctors, and other community leaders.
Now, California Assemblyman Travis Allen has introduced legislation that would require the California Health and Human Services Agency to provide information to the public regarding the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System and the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program, two federally funded resources most of the American public knows nothing about.
How could any lawmaker oppose this freedom of information? If the State is going to mandate vaccines to school children, should not federal information on vaccine injuries be available to the public?
In 2014 the Government Accounting Office (GAO) issued a report on the federal Vaccine Compensation Program criticizing the government for not making the public aware that this program exists. If AB 2832 passes in California, it will become one of the first states to rectify the problems documented by the GAO.

Tabitha and Jeff and their children are overjoyed to be back together again after their horrific ordeal. Tabitha says that the faces of the children lit up when they came home last week. The children, who range in age from almost 4 to almost 11, tackled their parents in their excitement to be reunited.

Their lives fell apart on August 14, 2014. Three year old Khloe fell outside while she was playing, and later that night collapsed. Her parents had left the children in the care of a babysitter while they went out for a date night. They rushed home when they were told that the babysitter had called 911. While their sister was taken to the hospital, the rest of the children were taken by Child Protective Services and divided up into separate foster homes. Khloe passed away the next day.
Even though no one was ever charged with a crime, the children were not returned to their parents.
Statins are the most profitable drugs in the history of the Big Pharma Cartel. In the U.S., the most stunning statistic about statin drugs is that nearly one-third of adult Americans currently take a statin medication. And, if the Powers-That-Be have their way, all Americans over the age of 50 would be prescribed a statin drug.
Why do so many people take a statin drug? Statins are prescribed for elevated cholesterol levels with the idea that statin use will lower the mortality from heart disease. What most health care providers and patients don’t know is that twenty years of research has failed to show that statin use significantly lowers the risk of dying from heart disease.
A recent British Medical Journal study looked at the mortality benefit from taking a statin medication for two to six years. They reported that if you are taking a statin medication for two to six years to prevent your first heart attack—this is referred to as primary prevention—your death will be postponed by an average of 3.2 days. If you have already suffered a heart attack and are taking a statin to prevent another cardiac event—this is referred to as secondary prevention—your death will be postponed an average of 4.1 days.
Cholesterol-lowering drugs are the best-selling drugs of all time. Lipitor is by far the most profitable drug in the history of mankind among all pharmaceutical products. Sales to date from this one particular cholesterol-lowering statin drug have exceeded $140 billion. Before its patent expired, it outsold nearly all other drugs on the market combined!
There is one major flaw with cholesterol-lowering drugs: they neither improve heart health nor prolong life according to scientific studies! They simply lower cholesterol levels, which is assumed to contribute to better health.
However, our bodies need cholesterol, and a whole range of side effects are now known to accompany statin drug usage, such as neurological diseases, breast cancer, liver injury, memory loss, diabetes, and muscle damage.
Since blockbuster cholesterol-lowering drugs like Lipitor now have expired patents, millions of dollars have been spent in research to develop new cholesterol-lowering drugs. In 2016 was announced that a new drug that Eli Lilly was developing to lower cholesterol was abandoned because it offered no improvement in heart health. Similar drugs have also failed.
At FDA.gov, it states, “FDA (U.S. Food and Drug Administration) is responsible for protecting the public health by assuring the safety, efficacy and security of human and veterinary drugs, biological products, medical devices, our nation’s food supply, cosmetics, and products that emit radiation.”
That sounds good to me. Too bad it is simply not true.
Folks, the FDA does not work for us. It works for Big Pharma. The FDA has started sending letters to companies manufacturing CBD oil informing them to stop producing and marketing it. Then, a Big Pharma company will come in and offer CBD oil for a price many times above what people are paying now.
If the FDA was working for us, the citizens, it would not wait 19 years to ban something that has been proven to be harmful. Nor would it allow the second most toxic chemical known to mankind—mercury—in any vaccine. For that matter, it would not allow neurotoxins such as aluminum and MSG in vaccines as well.
These failures are mammoth and criminal. Folks, the FDA is beyond fixing. It needs to be replaced with a true agency that is looking out for our health.
A turning point is happening in the U.S. despite the mainstream media’s best efforts to downplay and ignore it. Fraud within The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is now premiering in theaters throughout the U.S. as the documentary Vaxxed: From Cover-Up to Catastrophe has opened at the box office to massive interest.
The film centers on Dr. William Thompson’s 2014 admissions of research fraud with regard to manipulating the pivotal study that showed a correlation between the measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccine and the onset of autism. Both the silence of Congress and the epidemic run up of autism rates since Dr. Thompson’s admissions have been staggering. Ignoring the opportunity to promptly act on Dr. Thompson’s information in 2014, the national conversation has grown rapidly encompassing pharmaceutical fraud, vaccine safety and government agency corruption.
Now, another CDC whistleblower has revealed corruption at the CDC. On April 4, the court heard critical motions from a former CDC researcher and whistle blower alleging the CDC committed research misconduct and persistent data errors in their autism prevalence reports. Judith Pinborough-Zimmerman — the whistle blower in the case — filed specific concerns over alleged uncorrected errors in the CDC’s Autism and Developmental Disabilities Monitoring (ADDM) Network’s reported autism analysis for Utah.
After Robert De Niro announced — and then days later retracted — the showing of Vaxxed at his 2016 Tribeca film festival, the public took note of the film in a major way. The hype generated in a week’s time by the fiasco was enough free publicity to propel the Vaxxed documentary upward like a rocket. Earlier this month, the FDA made available a draft environmental assessment predicting that the release of genetically engineered mosquitoes in Key Haven, Florida, would have “no significant impact”—which means that the approval for their release is imminent.
The FDA’s determination is based largely on data submitted by Oxitec, the company producing the GM mosquitoes. Concerns have been raised that the Zika outbreak may be linked to the release of Oxitec’s GM mosquitoes in Brazil three years ago.

A former Government medical officer responsible for deciding whether medicines are safe has accused the Government of “utterly inexplicable complacency” over the MMR triple vaccine for children.
Dr Peter Fletcher, who was Chief Scientific Officer at the Department of Health, said if it is proven that the jab causes autism, “the refusal by governments to evaluate the risks properly will make this one of the greatest scandals in medical history.”
Holly Atkins was devastated last year when she learned that her son had multiple broken bones. A Child Abuse Specialist accused her of abuse without looking for medical conditions that would explain what happened, and Child Protective Services seized both of her children, placing them with her parents and sister.
Now North Carolina is demanding that her family cut off all ties to her, including phone calls and social media, or her children will go into foster care and be adopted out. The court appointed GAL attorney advocate, Donna Michelle Wright, reportedly told Holly’s parents in family court on March 23: “Act like [your daughter] never existed.”
This same attorney reportedly told Holly’s father previously that: “If Holly’s parental rights are terminated, your main priority will have to be the children. Your and Holly’s relationship would be no more.”
While even murderers are allowed visitation with family members, 28 year old Holly is faced with losing the close relationship she has always had with her parents as well as with her 20 year old sister, who lives with her parents. Her sister is being forced to choose between her relationship between her parents and niece and nephew, or her big sister. The Guilford County Family Court has made it clear that she cannot have both.
If Holly’s parents choose not to sever all contact with their daughter, the court has made it clear that the grandchildren, Baylie and Daylan, will go into the foster care system with the intent of adopting them out to strangers.

Believing that no one “inside” the system could be trusted, Sara began researching and learning all she could about the law to equip her in the long legal battle ahead. Sara is still fighting the courts to bring her youngest two children home. She has a final hearing on April 4th, and then Judge Jude is retiring the next day.

You’ll soon know whether many of the packaged foods you buy contain ingredients derived from genetically modified plants, such as soybeans and corn.
Over the past week or so, big companies including General Mills, Mars and Kellogg have announced plans to label such products – even though they still don’t think it’s a good idea.
The reason, in a word, is Vermont. The tiny state has boxed big food companies into a corner. Two years ago, the state passed legislation requiring mandatory labeling.
The Grocery Manufacturers Association has fought back against the law, both in court and in Congress, but so far it’s been unsuccessful.
And since food companies can’t create different packaging just for Vermont, it appears that the tiniest of states has created a labeling standard that will go into effect nationwide.
For the past decade, Americans have been subjected to dire warnings that B. pertussis whooping cough cases are on the rise and it is the fault of parents who don’t vaccinate their children. That myth actually goes back to the early 1980’s, when parents of DPT vaccine injured children in the U.S. were asking for a safer pertussis vaccine while, at the same time, discovering that whole cell pertussis vaccine in DPT shots did not prevent infection and vaccine immunity lasted for only two to five years.
What’s old is new again. And it is time to dispel the myths and lies being told about pertussis and pertussis vaccines.
FACT: Both the reactive whole cell DPT vaccine licensed 1949 and the less toxic acellular DTaP vaccine licensed in 1996 do not prevent infection or transmission, and only provide two to five years of temporary immunity at best;
FACT: Millions of vaccinated children and adults are silently infected with pertussis in the U.S. every year and show few or no symptoms but spread whooping cough to vaccinated and unvaccinated children – without doctors identifying or reporting cases to the government;
FACT: In response to mass pertussis vaccination campaigns beginning in the 1950s, the B. pertussis microbe evolved to evade both whole cell and acellular pertussis vaccines, creating new strains producing more toxin to suppress immune function and cause more serious disease.
When it comes to your skin, beauty is more than skin-deep. What you eat has a lot to do with the appearance of your complexion, and a number of skin problems, such as acne, can be cleared up simply by altering your diet.

One of the first strategies you can use to improve your skin health is to make sure you are getting enough high quality omega-3 fats. This is such a reliable indicator that I can usually tell someone’s omega-3 needs just by shaking their hand.
If their hand is not smooth as a baby’s behind, it’s usually a strong indication of omega-3 deficiency.
The US National Library of Medicine and the National Institutes of Health declare sodium borate to be a dangerous poison. Side effects include: vomiting, diarrhea, skin rash, blisters, collapse, coma, convulsions, drowsiness, fever, low blood pressure, decreased urine output, sloughing of the skin, and twitching of facial muscles, arms, hands, legs, and feet.
Sodium borate has also been banned in the US as a food additive.
It is also an ingredient in some childhood vaccines. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) list sodium borate as an ingredient in four vaccines: Hepatitis A (Vaqta), HIB/Hepatits B (Comvax), and in two HPV vaccines (Gardasil and Gardasil 9).
It’s astonishing that such a dangerous ingredient is added to vaccines. There are other toxic ingredients in vaccines as well—all “adjuvants”: aluminum, formaldehyde, and polysorbate 80, to name a few.
So, sodium borate is considered a dangerous poison and is too toxic to be used as a food additive—but it’s perfectly safe to inject our children with it?
A Navy veteran father was arrested on Day 11 of a Hunger Strike at the Kansas Capitol building on Thursday, March 24th, on a warrant for charges that no one seems to know anything about.
Raymond Schwab and his supporters believe that his arrest is about “retaliation” and “intimidation” because he has been publicly fighting to get his children back since they were legally kidnapped by Child Protective Services and abused while in state custody.
After spending a night in jail that he says “was like being in hell,” Raymond was released Friday afternoon, with no charges filed against him.
The treatment that he describes after being arrested is shocking. He reported that he was stripped naked and forced to remain in that condition in a filthy, cold room for the duration of his stay. There was “urine everywhere” and blood on the mattress. There was a hole in the floor where prisoners are expected to urinate.
There is a new affliction that is threatening the world population. It is so new that it hasn’t even been officially declared to be a disease, but the World Health Organization and bioethicists are already waving the red flag of warning.
The World Health Organization (WHO) is very concerned about the problem of “vaccine hesitancy,” which they say is threatening the effectiveness of their worldwide vaccination program. In short, some parents are not automatically allowing their babies to be vaccinated even though such services are available. Adults also are not responding to calls for receiving vaccines even when they are free.
How long will it be until the WHO steps up the intensity of its vaccine program and declares “vaccine hesitancy” to be a mental illness?
When Allison and Jesus Valenzuela took their 5 month old son to the emergency room with a seizure, they had no idea that their lives were about to be turned upside down. They were accused of shaken baby syndrome, and their son was seized from them by Child Protective Services on April 2, 2013.

In January 2016, Hillary Clinton unveiled an autism initiative that was focused on bringing greater awareness to the epidemic.
Clinton, who has received more pharmaceutical industry money than any leading political figure in the United States, wants “to ensure that all children, and in particular children from underserved backgrounds, can get screened for autism.”
Reading between the political red tape and double speak, Clinton and the pharmaceutical industry are looking to create a funnel to drive millions affected by the autism spectrum into the drug company’s arms.
There is a lot of buzz these days coming from the political and medical hot potato that is medical cannabis (marijuana). Many states are wrestling with current legislation, desperate not to give full control of this plant’s healing powers over to the people without high taxes and tracking systems.
Two major events have just occurred within the last week. First, Pennsylvania is moving to become the first state to list autism as a qualifying condition for medical marijuana. If Pennsylvania’s SB3 becomes law, it will legally protect doctors who want to prescribe medical marijuana. In addition, the law would give parents and their children access to a powerful medical tool that would be covered by insurance.
The second major event that is currently in the works is the world’s first official crowdfunded medical marijuana study at Colorado State University. Headed by Thorsten Rudroff, director of Colorado State University’s (CSU) Integrative Neurophysiology Lab, the study aims to conduct tests on at least 20 MS patients in northern Colorado who already are using medical marijuana and compare them with members of a control group of the same size who do not.
The government is waging a vendetta against Armour Thyroid, because it is natural, and instead is promoting incomplete and synthetic thyroid medications. In addition, if the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) goes through with recent proposals, thousands of patients with similar thyroid conditions may lose access to the compounded version of natural thyroid medications they rely upon to treat their hypothyroidism.
In a list of the top 100 most prescribed, top selling drugs in 2015, Synthroid was the number one most prescribed drug, bringing in $1,022,330,738 in sales. Natural thyroid, and the compounding pharmacies that produce it, therefore represent an annoyance to the government-sponsored monopolists running Big Pharma.
On March 14, 2016, Health Impact News published a report describing how the General Medical Council (GMC) had found neuropathologist and defense witness, Dr. Waney Squier, guilty of misleading her peers, being irresponsible, dishonest and bringing the reputation of the medical profession into disrepute.
Taking further action to destroy her career and profession, on March 21, 2016, the GMC decided that it was in the public’s best interest to erase Dr. Squier’s name from the medical register, effectively removing her license to practice medicine and ending her medical career.
Speaking to the Guardian newspaper on Monday, the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service, the disciplinary arm of the General Medical Council told reporters that they: “…had no option but to end Squier’s medical career, given her serial dishonesty.”
Before being professionally assassinated, Dr. Squier was thought to be the UK’s leading scientist in the field of pediatric neuropathology and had worked as a consultant at the John Radcliffe Hospital for 32 years.
Until 15 years ago, she, like many other professionals, had vehemently supported and adhered to the mainstream belief that when a medical professional suspects that an infant has been violently shaken, they must examine the baby for the “triad” of injuries believed to be associated with shaken baby syndrome (SBS).
However, after studying and examining the scientific underpinnings of what is only, after all, a theory, Dr. Squier began to develop serious doubts, which led her to express her ever-increasing scientific skepticism.
Those doubts are what ultimately led to the abrupt end of her successful career.
“When independent, government scientists produce research that threatens corporate agribusinesses, the USDA — according to at least 10 government scientists — censors the results, waters down the findings and punishes the researchers.”
Jonathan Lundgren is one of these 10 scientists. The other 9 have all chosen to remain anonymous for fear of even more reprisals.
In the first week of November 2015, Jonathan Lundgren, who spent the last 11 years working as an entomologist at the USDA, filed a whistleblower complaint against the agency, claiming he’d suffered retaliation after speaking out about research showing that neonicotinoids had adverse effects on bees.
Colombia’s largest mainstream news outlet El Tiempo is currently reporting on a public forum that was held in the Bogotá Council. The forum heard testimony from doctors, lawyers, politicians, health ministers and numerous HPV vaccine-injured girls in an effort to determine the country’s next steps concerning its HPV vaccine program and treatment of the massive numbers of vaccine injuries caused by the shot.
A 2016 study carried out by the Heinrich Böll Foundation in Germany has found that 99.6% of the German population has been contaminated by the herbicide glyphosate. Glyphosate is the active ingredient in the world’s most widely used herbicides, such as Roundup.
This study follows another study released in February (2016) that found glyphosate in each of Germany’s 14 most popular beers.
A recently published study in the Drug and Alcohol Review examined 473 adults who substituted cannabis (marijuana) for “alcohol, illicit substances and prescription drugs.” The subjects were using cannabis for therapeutic purposes (as opposed to the recreational use of marijuana).
The study found that:
“Substituting cannabis for one or more of alcohol, illicit drugs or prescription drugs was reported by 87% (n = 410) of respondents, with 80.3% reporting substitution for prescription drugs, 51.7% for alcohol, and 32.6% for illicit substances.”
Given the relative safety of cannabis (no recorded deaths from side effects of cannabis), and the tens of thousands of people who die every year from prescription drugs, cannabis should be looked at as a viable treatment for a variety of illnesses, as well as a substitute for “other psychoactive substances” that cause great harm through addiction and multiple side effects.
A U.S. Navy veteran is currently on a hunger strike in hopes of getting his children back from what he calls a very corrupt child protective system in Kansas. He is prepared to continue his hunger strike until he and his wife’s children are returned, or until he starves to death.
Raymond Schwab and his wife Amelia say that their children never should have been taken away from them almost a year ago, but what prompted the hunger strike was the fact that the Department for Children and Families (DCF) said they planned to place their 13 year old son in a psychiatric residential treatment center. They started him on psychotropic drugs 2 weeks ago, against his parents’ will.
Raymond Schwab began his strike on Monday, March 14, two days before DCF was to institutionalize their son. He doesn’t belong there, the parents insist, and he certainly doesn’t need dangerous psychotropic drugs. But he was placed into the facility on Wednesday, against his parents’ wishes, and is expected to be there for up to 60 days.
Three of their children have reportedly been abused while in DCF custody. DCF has reported to the family that their 5 year old little girl has been sexually assaulted in their care, and the 13 year old and another son have been abused in the DCF placement.
What would motivate a relatively healthy man to undergo a 60 day diet of potatoes only? In 2010, Chris Voight began his successful 60 day potato fast to prove the health merits of potatoes.
His inspiration was ignited by the federal WIC (Women, Infants and Children) low-income assistance program’s decision to remove potatoes from the list of vegetables that were being provided.

Even though he is now an adult, Cook County DCFS, their child protective system, still retains control of his life. Supporters are calling for Illinois to “Free Isaiah Rider!” They invite the press and supporters to attend the hearing, which takes place on Monday, March 21, 2016, at 1:30 pm, at 1100 S Hamilton, Chicago, Illinois, at the Juvenile Court in the courtroom of Judge Nicholas Geanopoulos.
Supporters have been very frustrated with the fact that Isaiah Rider is now an adult, but the Illinois DCFS will not free him to live his life. Isaiah himself has pleaded, to no avail, for the system to let him go. He wants to be able to live his life without their interference.
Australian, London Olympics medallist rower, Sarah Tait has died after a battle with cervical cancer- she was 33. She is survived by her senior national coach husband Bill and two children.
Sadly, the HPV vaccine she had when she was younger didn’t save her and neither did the chemotherapy.
With the rapidly changing of state laws nationwide regarding access to cannabis (marijuana), there is renewed interest in research and use of cannabis for non-recreational health benefits. Prior to 1937 and the Marijuana Tax Act, which began the process of making cannabis illegal in the United States, cannabis was part of the American Medical Association’s prescribed pharmacopoeia for a variety of ailments, and doctors routinely wrote prescriptions for it.

Because of out-dated federal laws still in place against cannabis, much of this research in the past has been hard to find, and non-mainstream. Like the flawed Frontline documentary, like New York state’s attorney general, US Attorney General Loretta Lynch is spreading gross misinformation about dietary supplements.
Last week, Attorney General Lynch released a video for National Consumer Protection Week about supplements. Excuse us, but since when is the US attorney general an expert on this subject? Since she obviously isn’t, she must be relying on distortions and untruths she has been fed by other agencies of the government such as the FDA and Centers for Disease Control.
For instance, Ms. Lynch warns consumers against “ingesting substances whose safety and efficacy are not guaranteed” by FDA study. As we pointed out in our response to PBS, pharmaceutical drugs are also not studied by the FDA. The agency relies on industry studies to determine if new drugs can come to market. No independent review is done to check the industry’s results, which has led to all kinds of manipulation and sometimes disastrous outcomes (see the examples of Vioxx and Avandia). And after approval is granted, the actual medicine itself is never tested, even though it may be manufactured in Chinese plants or other faraway locales.
With the passage of The Public Health and Wellbeing Amendment of 2015, Australia has retrogressed to a state of gross human rights violations. The amendment, nicknamed No Jab, No Pay, is now active and targeting low income families exclusively.
Parents who are conscientious objectors to vaccination, for whatever reason, will now be unable to claim any childcare rebates and will lose their end-of-year family tax benefits. The No Jab, No Pay amendment, which went live on January 1, 2016, also restricts the ability of parents exercising medical choice to access childcare services.
The No Jab, No Pay vaccine amendment is estimated to cost low-income families with two children up to $30,000 a year.
Three breastfed, homebirthed babies who were taken away from their parents by Child Protective Services in Washington state more than a year ago are still not home, but their mother reports that she is very hopeful that they will be home soon.
The story of Erica May Carey and Cleave Rengo’s children being taken by CPS was first reported by Health Impact News in November of 2014. Their heartbreaking story went viral and was read by more than 1.5 million people in less than 48 hours, leading to a national outcry. The governor of Washington reportedly received 6000 phone calls after the story was published.
Twins Morna and Daniel and their brother Levi remain in a foster home in Washington, but despite earlier placement in separate homes, the 3 siblings are together in the same foster home. As recently as the last court hearing, a Bellingham social worker is still telling the court that the children should be adopted out.
Erica reports that there is a new judge on her family’s case. She has been told that the court will not discuss the case further or consider the children coming back home until he gets the In-Home Study report in his hands.

A book deal this big covering a topic as popular as woman’s mental health, should have had all the major media outlets fighting each other to get Dr. Brogan on their shows.
However, after the publisher sent the galley to all the major networks, not one single one wanted to invite Dr. Brogan, and Dr. Brogan reports that one station even threatened to give negative publicity to the book.
It is time for the alternative media to rise up and overcome the censorship that is bought by the advertisers of the mainstream media, such as the pharmaceutical industry. Let’s help get Dr. Brogan’s book on to the N.Y. Times best-seller list without any help from the mainstream media!
There is, perhaps, no other food source surrounded by such mystery and magic as mushrooms. Mushrooms are actually the fruit of mycelium, which is a “filamentous, cobweb-like cellular network.”

The medical theory of “shaken baby syndrome” (SBS) is quickly losing credibility, with many doctors, scientists, and attorneys now speaking out against SBS and the fact that innocent parents have been falsely accused of child abuse. Courts are now re-trying some cases based on testimonies from these doctors and professionals, and some cases have recently been over-turned.
The medical profession is fighting back. The reasons are quite obvious. To admit that the theory behind SBS is false, would open the door to major litigation, as the theory has been used to convict thousands of parents of child abuse, and to perhaps remove tens of thousands of children from their homes and families. There is also massive federal funding available to seize these children, making them an asset to the state.
So the apparent strategy of the medical profession is to attack those doctors now testifying against SBS on behalf of innocent parents, destroying their credibility and license to practice. Without their expert testimony, it will be much more difficult to fight false SBS convictions.
The latest effort along that front is the action the British General Medical Council has taken against world renowned pediatric neuropathologist Dr. Waney Squier, who has now had her career effectively destroyed for testifying to the truth.
Glyphosate, the main ingredient in Monsanto’s Roundup herbicide, is recognized as the world’s most widely used weed killer. What is not so well known is that farmers also use glyphosate on crops such as wheat, oats, edible beans and other crops right before harvest, raising concerns that the herbicide could get into food products.
According to Tom Ehrhardt, co-owner of Minnesota-based Albert Lea Seeds, sourcing grains not desiccated with glyphosate prior to harvest is a challenge. “I have talked with millers of conventionally produced grain and they all agree it’s very difficult to source oats, wheat, flax and triticale, which have not been sprayed with glyphosate prior to harvest,” he said. “It’s a ‘don’t ask, don’t tell policy’ in the industry.”
“Can you imagine the public’s response if they knew that glyphosate is being sprayed on the oats in their Cheerios only weeks before it is manufactured?” Ehrhardt asked.
Prescription drug overdoses have become alarmingly common in the U.S., with opioid painkillers, such as Vicodin and Oxycontin, among the drugs most frequently making headlines.
New research shows another class of drugs — benzodiazepines or “benzos” — is rising in the ranks of overdose deaths, however.
Prescriptions for such drugs, which include brand names Valium, Ativan and Xanax, tripled from 1996 to 2013, but this doesn’t fully account for the uptick in overdoses, which quadrupled during that time period.
Researchers from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York used data from the Medical Expenditure Panel Survey and multiple-cause-of-death data from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to describe trends in benzodiazepine prescriptions and overdose deaths.
For starters, they found that the number of U.S. prescriptions for the drugs rose from 4.1 percent in 1996 to 5.6 percent in 2013 — a 37 percent increase.
Further, the rate of overdose deaths increased from 0.58 per 100,000 adults at the start of the study to about 3 per 100,000 adults at the end, which represented a more than 500 percent increase.
Americans are more likely than Europeans to be exposed to Monsanto’s glyphosate weed killer. That’s in large part because the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s calculations to determine allowable levels of glyphosate use are much more lax than the European Union’s.
And American growers spray a lot of glyphosate.
As Dr. Charles Benbrook points out in his paper, Monsanto’s genetically engineered Roundup Ready crops made it possible for growers to spray glyphosate more often – and almost up to harvest time. That leaves more of the weed killer’s residues on the crops.
Moreover, ever since genetically engineered crops came on the market and drove up the use of Roundup, the EPA has been ratcheting up the allowable levels of glyphosate residue for certain crops.
With U.S. doctors questioning the safety and effectiveness of the new meningitis B vaccines in a shocking San Diego Union Tribune news report, we need to ask ourselves whether or not our children are more at risk from the vaccine, than they are from the disease itself.
This is a real possibility because according to the Tribune, risk of catching the disease is rare and patients from families with a history of immune system disease could be at risk from severe adverse reactions.
Dr. Mark Sawyer, an infectious disease specialist at Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego, told reporters:
“Newer vaccines on the market lack comprehensive evidence on safety and effectiveness, compared with vaccines that have been administered to tens of millions of people over decades.”
Furthermore, he continued by informing reporters that he did not vaccinate his own daughter because he did not feel that she was at an increased risk and stated:
“Parents should realize that there are many more pressing threats on the vaccination front.”
