Pro-Vaccine Maryland Parent Outraged over Corruption in Mass Gardasil Vaccination Policies

Maryland parent Josh Mazer is a pro-vaccine parent. He has stated: "A properly administered, robust vaccine policy is instrumental in promoting the public welfare." (We disagree on this point.) However, there is one vaccine he does not promote, and after the local health department started promoting this vaccine to 12 and 13-year-old children without parental consent or knowledge, he decided to do some investigating behind this large public campaign of mass vaccination. The vaccine in question is Merck's HPV vaccine Gardasil, which is well-known to the readers of Health Impact News, but less so among the general public. Mazer was notified of the policy earlier this year (2018) by a "a career public school nurse" who told him that she was "being forced" to market Gardasil to 11 and 12-year-old kids at her school. Mazer decided to investigate why this was being presented as a "public health crisis," but none of the local health department officials gave him any useful facts or information to justify the mass HPV vaccine campaign. So he filed a Public Information Act request with the local government Prevention and Health Promotion Administration. He learned the state health department received $91.6 million just since 2012 from pharma funded non-profits to promote the HPV vaccine in Maryland. Bingo. Welcome to our world, Mr. Mazer.

HPV Vaccine Scandal Affects Cochrane Biased Review as Critics Speak Out in BMJ

In May 2018, Cochrane, the research organization that bills itself as the “international gold standard for high quality, trusted information,” released a flattering review of human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccines. The Cochrane review methodology involves pulling together data from clinical trials and reviewing the assembled evidence in what is supposed to be a standardized, systematic and neutral manner. In June, we reported that Cochrane’s sources of funding—agencies and foundations that are unwilling to brook any questions about vaccine safety—raise reasonable doubts about Cochrane’s conflicts of interest and ability to remain independent from its funders’ agendas. Now, researchers affiliated with one of Cochrane’s regional member centers (the Nordic Cochrane Centre) and with the Oxford-based Centre for Evidence Based Medicine (OCEBM) have come out with an exhaustive critique of Cochrane’s HPV review, published in BMJ Evidence-Based Medicine. Not mincing their words, the authors state: "We believe that the Cochrane [HPV vaccine] review does not meet the standards for Cochrane reviews or the needs of the citizens or healthcare providers that consult Cochrane reviews to make ‘Informed decisions,’ which…is part of Cochrane’s motto." The Nordic and OCEBM authors make many solid arguments about the Cochrane reviewers’ omissions and errors, including the reviewers’ inexplicable characterization of the higher death rate in the HPV group as “a chance occurrence.”

UK Government to Begin Giving HPV Vaccine to Boys Amid Public Outcry

The UK government has recently announced that, by September 2019, boys aged 12 to 13 years will be given the human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine, a vaccine that has been available to girls in the UK for the past ten years. There has been documented evidence that the HPV vaccine has caused more injuries than any other vaccination in history. Despite this evidence, however, the HPV vaccination has continued to be hailed a success by the pharmaceutical industry and governments alike. According to the MHRA, the adverse event reporting system in the UK, there have been a total of 9,119 reports of adverse reactions reported in the UK since the vaccine was launched in 2008. These reports equate to 23,882 different ailments and include a total of 8 deaths. The UK’s decision to include boys into the equation has alarmed many parents whose daughters have already been injured by the vaccine.

Soaring Infertility Rates Linked to Vaccines

A plague is spreading silently across the globe. The young generation in America, the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Japan, Australia – in virtually every western country -- is afflicted by rapidly increasing rates of infertility. But there is another phenomenon that is rarely mentioned – the growing numbers of young people who are not childless by choice but who are incapable of bearing children. Gardasil Vaccine Legal Victory: Canada Federal Court Rules to Release Clinical Trial Data to American Researcher

CBC News and the British Medical Journal (BMJ) are reporting that Professor Peter Doshi has won a major legal victory against pharmaceutical companies trying to hide clinical trial data from the public due to "confidential agreements" for 5 pharmaceutical products. Doshi sued Health Canada to release clinical trial data submitted to Health Canada by the manufacturers of the HPV vaccines Gardasil, Gardasil 9 and Cervarix, and the anti-viral flu medications, Tamiflu and Relenza. A Canadian Federal Court judge ordered Health Canada to release the pharmaceutical clinical trial data, undercutting the Canadian government's attempts to keep the information confidential. As far as I can determine, this landmark court ruling out of Canada has been completely censored in the U.S. corporate-sponsored "mainstream" media. This appears to be a brilliant legal strategy by Doshi and his attorneys, since they had little to no chance of obtaining this clinical trial data from any court in the U.S., where pharmaceutical companies enjoy legal immunity from most lawsuits. The importance of receiving this data, particularly on Merck's Gardasil vaccine, cannot be overstated. As we have reported many times here at Health Impact News, the entire medical approval process to bring the HPV vaccine into the U.S. market is full of scandals and cover-ups, which has resulted in the injuries and deaths of many young people, particularly young women aged 12 to 26, many of whom can no longer bear children due to the vaccine making them infertile. "I hope my case sets a precedent and allows researchers, clinicians, and the public easy access to clinical trial data," Doshi reportedly stated in an email to CBC News. "Regulators shouldn't have a monopoly on judging the risks and benefits of medicines or hinder others from doing the same via confidentiality agreements."

Japanese Attorneys Representing HPV Vaccine Victims Urge Government to Ban HPV Vaccines

In a recent press release commemorating the 5-year anniversary of the Japanese Government suspending its recommendation of the HPV vaccine, the National Attorneys Association for the HPV Vaccines Lawsuits called upon the Japanese Government to ban the HPV vaccine completely. This is the type of news that is routinely censored in the corporate-sponsored "mainstream" media in the United States. The fact that there is a national organization of attorneys litigating against one specific vaccine and the injuries it is causing, is itself newsworthy. The vaccine manufacturers who are being sued in Japan, GlaxoSmithKline PLC and Merck Sharp & Dohme Corp., enjoy 100% legal immunity in the United States, due to the 1986 National Childhood Vaccine Injury Compensation Act. We must look outside of the U.S., therefore, to learn about just how devastating Gardasil and the HPV vaccine is, as the National Association for the HPV Vaccines Lawsuits reports: "Compared to other routine vaccinations, an average of over seven times the number of serious adverse effects per one million HPV vaccinations have been reported, and the number of disability certifications by the Adverse Drug Reaction Relief System is almost ten times higher."

Mother Faces Jury Trial As Texas Seeks to Terminate Her Parental Rights Over Daughter Injured by Gardasil Vaccine

A trial began this week for a mother who was separated from her baby after the 4-month-old mistakenly received a Gardasil-9 vaccine intended for her older brother. The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services seeks to convince a jury to terminate the parental rights of Anita Vasquez for her now 22-month-old daughter, Aniya Blu Vasquez. Jury selection began on Monday, June 18, 2018, for the trial which is expected to last up to 2 weeks. We originally reported their story in June of last year. The previously healthy baby, Aniya, began showing symptoms of problems almost immediately after getting the Gardasil shot, a vaccine which is not approved for use in children under 10 years of age. Her mother sought medical attention for the symptoms that her daughter exhibited, asking each practitioner about the connection between the symptoms and the Gardasil-9 shot that her baby should not have received, but her concerns were rebuffed at every turn. No doctor that saw her daughter wanted to admit that the vaccine could have any kind of side effects. The doctor who made a medical error in giving her the vaccine has suffered no consequences, but the baby's family has been ripped apart, as the mother is being blamed for her daughter's medical condition.

Study: HPV Gardasil Vaccine Linked to Decline in Fertility Rates in U.S. Women Aged 25–29

A major study has just been published in the Journal of Toxicology and Environmental Health looking at declining fertility rates among eight million U.S. women aged 25 to 29 during a 7-year period. The title of study, published by Gayle DeLong, Ph.D., from the Department of Economics and Finance, Baruch College/City University of New York, is "A lowered probability of pregnancy in females in the USA aged 25–29 who received a human papillomavirus vaccine injection." From the abstract: "This study analyzed information gathered in National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey, which represented 8 million 25-to-29-year-old women residing in the United States between 2007 and 2014. Approximately 60% of women who did not receive the HPV vaccine had been pregnant at least once, whereas only 35% of women who were exposed to the vaccine had conceived. Using logistic regression to analyze the data, the probability of having been pregnant was estimated for females who received an HPV vaccine compared with females who did not receive the shot. Results suggest that females who received the HPV shot were less likely to have ever been pregnant than women in the same age group who did not receive the shot. If 100% of females in this study had received the HPV vaccine, data suggest the number of women having ever conceived would have fallen by 2 million."

As Merck’s Gardasil U.S. Sales Decline Profits Continue to Increase as Vaccine is Launched in China

The pharmaceutical marketing trade publication, Fierce Pharma, announced this month (May 2018) that Merck has beat Wall Street expectations for their Gardasil vaccine sales during the first quarter of 2018, achieving 24% growth with $660 million for the HPV vaccine. The report notes that sales in the U.S. are declining, attributing the decline in sales to the CDC decision to reduce their recommendation of the Gardasil vaccine to be only two doses, instead of three. Nothing is mentioned about declining public opinion regarding Gardasil, nor the numerous lawsuits against the company outside the U.S. The increase in sales for Gardasil is attributed to their entrance into the China market. The original vaccine won Chinese approval last year, while late last month the Chinese FDA granted Gardasil 9 a conditional approval only nine days into a review.

U.S. Taxpayer Funds Used To Develop and Market Merck’s Gardasil Vaccine Global Empire

It is no secret that huge conflicts of interest exist between vaccine promoters and vaccine makers. Pediatrician and vaccine developer Paul Offit, for example, who is one of the nation’s leading promoters of mandatory use of government recommended vaccines, holds a $1.5 million research chair at Children’s Hospital in Philadelphia, funded in part by Merck. Julie Gerberding left her post as Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), where she oversaw the creation of national vaccine policies, to head Merck vaccines. Former Texas governor Rick Perry recommended state-wide inoculation of all 11- and 12-year-old girls with Merck’s Gardasil vaccine after his chief of staff left to work at Merck. Just as disturbing are the millions of dollars that officials at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) dole out to academic institutions and vaccine manufacturers to improve vaccine technology, find new, lucrative markets and boost vaccine marketability—functions that guarantee the profitability of corporations, but do not always ensure the well being of taxpayers, the public and patients. Today, taxpayer-supported research to develop new drugs and vaccines is voraciously patented by universities and drug companies for outsized Wall Street profits when the research rightfully belongs to taxpayers. Development of the human papillomavirus (HPV) Gardasil and Cervarix vaccines is a case in point. The initial research was funded by the NIH, National Cancer Institute, University of Rochester, Georgetown University and the University of Queensland, which licensed them to Merck and GlaxoSmithKline. Study: Increased Rates of Cervical Cancer in Sweden Linked to Increase in HPV Vaccinations

A new study published in the Indian Journal of Medical Ethics examined cervical cancer rates among women in Sweden and discovered a link between increased cervical cancer rates among women aged 20-49 during a two-year period between 2014 and 2015, corresponding to increased HPV vaccination rates in this population group, years earlier, when mass HPV vaccinations started in Sweden. Women above the age of 50, during this two-year period, saw no significant cervical cancer increase, as they probably would not have been vaccinated with the HPV vaccine. Since the study casts doubt on the efficacy of the HPV vaccine, and, in fact, links the vaccine to increased cancer rates, it is highly unlikely you will read about this in the U.S. corporate-sponsored media, where nothing negative about the blockbuster HPV Gardasil vaccine is allowed.

Merck Fighting Fraud Lawsuits in U.S. Courts on MMR and Gardasil Vaccines

Pharmaceutical giant, Merck, is facing charges of fraud in lawsuits filed in U.S. courts regarding their vaccine products. This is important information for the public to know, given the fact that the ever-growing vaccine market is expected to exceed $70 billion within the next few years, and that many states are trying to pass legislation to mandate vaccines without informed consent, all in the name of "the greater good" for public health. Teen Girl Develops Leukemia After Gardasil Vaccine – Life Back to Near Normal After Mother Gives Her Cannabis Oil

They wanted to prescribe antidepressants instead. But Dana was intuitively suspicious and began researching on the side effects of Gardasil and other vaccines. She soon began realizing it wasn’t a coincidence that her health issues began immediately after Hayley’s HPV vaccination. Her immune system had been compromised severely. Many reported adverse events that Dana discovered from the HPV vaccine included what Hayley was experiencing, often even worse.
