GAO Report on Vaccine Court Reveals Vaccine Injured Victims Not Being Helped

In November 2014 the Government Accounting Office (GAO) issued the first report on America’s “Vaccine Court,” known as the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (NVICP), in almost 15 years.

As we have previously reported here at Health Impact News, the Vaccine Injury Compensation Trust Fund, which is funded by taxes paid on vaccines, has now grown to about $3.5 BILLION. Previous GAO reports on the NVICP have criticized the rate at which this fund was growing and being kept by the federal government, instead of being paid out to victims who have been injured or killed by vaccines.

The November 2014 GAO report on Vaccine Injury Compensations revealed some problems with the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program that the mainstream media reported. These problems include the fact that most people are still unaware that this program even exists, that it can take many years to settle a claim for a vaccine injury or death, and that while this program was originally designed for injuries and deaths due to childhood vaccines, that most claims now are made by adults injured or killed by the annual flu shot.

MIT Researcher: Glyphosate Herbicide will Cause Half of All Children to Have Autism by 2025

For over three decades, Stephanie Seneff, PhD, has researched biology and technology, over the years publishing over 170 scholarly peer-reviewed articles. In recent years she has concentrated on the relationship between nutrition and health, tackling such topics as Alzheimer’s, autism, and cardiovascular diseases, as well as the impact of nutritional deficiencies and environmental toxins on human health.

Why Some Michigan Parents Choose not to Vaccinate Their Children

So who are these parents who want to refuse vaccines for their children? The mainstream media generally portrays these parents as “anti-science, ignorant, foolish, etc.”

It was refreshing, therefore, to read an honest journalistic piece on this topic on the “Michigan Live” website which actually interviewed some parents who exercise their lawful rights to refuse some vaccines.

In contrast to the predominantly one-sided media reports labeling all parents who refuse vaccines as “uneducated,” here is a description of the parents refusing vaccines based on demographic data in Michigan:

Statewide, about 6 percent of Michigan schoolchildren have vaccination waivers, which equates to about 150,000 children who are unvaccinated or undervaccinated. Many are clustered in affluent communities such as Rochester, and have well-educated, health-conscious parents who buy organic food and eschew antibiotics in favor of a homeopathic approach to illnesses. They fear injecting so many viruses into their children could do more harm than good, and see widespread immunizations as being driven by “Big Pharma,” which they see as more concerned about profits than public health.

Though the parents have reportedly not been charged with any crime, their children have been seized by the state; and they are only permitted to see them for two hours per week.

Their visit this week was cancelled because the foster parents are out of town for the Christmas holidays.

This foster home is the twins’ fourth foster home in five months.

Their parents are grieving because they are “missing out on every first,” and just want their babies back.

Another Ineffective and Toxic Flu Drug Approved by FDA

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved a new influenza drug called Rapivab (peramivir). Rapivab is given intravenously as a single dose in adults who have been symptomatic with the flu for no more than two days. This drug is in the neuraminidase family of drugs which includes Tamiflu and Relenza, which are oral medications.

Folks, the U.S. Government gave almost $235 million dollars in grant money to study Rapivab. I think that money could be better spent studying the effects of vitamin C on the flu. At least vitamin C is not associated with serious side effects.

I would avoid taking all neuraminidase inhibitors. They have little effectiveness. They are too expensive. And, they are associated with severe side effects. We don’t need another ineffective, expensive, and toxic flu drug on the market. I think we would be better off removing all of the neuraminidase inhibitors from the market.

Are Children Medicated for Convenience, or Necessity?

Study: Doubling Saturated Fat in Diet Does not Increase Saturated Fat in Blood

2014 will undoubtedly be remembered as the year the dietary belief that saturated fats are bad and lead to heart disease began to crumble in the mainstream media.

This “news” of course is not “news” at all for those of us in the alternative media, as we have been saying this for well over a decade now. The research in the scientific literature showing the health benefits of saturated fats in the diet has been around for even longer.

What should be carefully noted in the mainstream media’s reporting on saturated fats, however, is that it is almost exclusively related to dietary advice, and the sale of certain groups of food high in saturated fats, such as butter. The reason for restricting the change in the saturated fat myths of the past 50 years or so to only dietary advice is most likely due to the fact that processed food companies (such as Big Dairy) can still produce products that take advantage of this shift in consumer trends, as consumers wise up to the fact that when you restrict saturated fats in the diet, you tend to replace them with refined carbohydrates, which are linked to many health problems that are historically blamed on saturated fats. Undoubtedly, the processed food industry’s answer will be more highly processed saturated fatty foods now.

Where the change in the saturated fat myth is still not applied in the mainstream media is in the lipid theory of heart disease related to cholesterol. This is a holy grail in the pharmaceutical industry that supports a hundred BILLION dollar drug industry to lower people’s cholesterol levels. So the cholesterol myth will die a hard death. World War III in Hawaii Update: Maui GMO Ban Wins a Skirmish

As we reported in November, Maui residents successfully passed a ballot initiative banning new GMO crops in Maui County. The resolution passed by a slim margin, but Biotech giants Monsanto and Dow AgroSciences spent $8 million in a campaign to prevent the measure from passing. So while the margin of victory was small, the victory was HUGE!

As soon it was obvious that the measure had been passed, Monsanto Hawaii filed a lawsuit in federal court to block the ban; and a preliminary injunction was granted by the court.

Here in the second week of December, the grassroots organization in Hawaii called “SHAKA” has successfully filed a motion to become a party to the lawsuit Monsanto filed, and successfully moved the case to a different judge. The memorandum filed with the federal court appears to have been so compelling, that the existing judge, Judge Barry Kurren, really had no choice but to allow SHAKA to become a party to the lawsuit. Then they promptly booted Judge Kurren off the case. Kurren ruled earlier this year that county ordinances regulating GMO and pesticides on Kauai and the Big Island improperly preempted state law, which is probably why Monsanto and Biotech wanted him on this case as well.

China Continues to Reject U.S. GMO Crops, Hurting U.S. Exports

Earlier in 2014 we reported how China had rejected over 1.45 million tons of U.S. corn because it was found to contain a variety of genetically modified corn that is not approved in China. Much of that corn export product went to Brazil instead, as the U.S. continues to lose exports abroad due to its biotech policies of not labeling GMOs.

Attorney Shawn McMillan of California specializes in civil rights cases against child protection agencies. He has been awarded the “Street Fighter of the Year” award for defending family rights and taking on the abuses of social service agencies in California.

Courthouse News Service is reporting that Attorney McMillan is representing a federal class action lawsuit against “Riverside County, Juvenile Dependency Investigator Karla Torres, Torres’s supervisor Felicia M. Butler, and all similarly situated county social workers and investigators” for taking “a newborn baby from her mother without a reason or a warrant,” and for making “a habit of it.” The suit claims that the Southern California County takes “thousands of babies” without cause.

New Study: Hepatitis B Vaccination in France Sparked a Wave of New Cases of MS

There has been considerable suspicion about a link between hepatitis B vaccination and the development of multiple sclerosis. This new study examined detailed national data in France around the mass vaccination of French adults in the mid 1990s. Following World Health Organisation recommendations in 1992 to mass vaccinate against hepatitis B to hopefully eradicate the virus, 20 million French people were vaccinated between 1994 and 1997. In 1998, French media published articles about a sudden increase in the number of cases of MS developing in France, linking them to this mass vaccination program. Vaccination numbers rapidly fell as a result.

Now 20 years later, by looking at all the data from that time, Dominique Le Houezec has established a firm link between these vaccinations and a sudden rise in the number of cases of MS developing in France.

The author of this paper actually goes so far as calling this ‘an involuntary very large scale experiment carried out on a third of the French population’.

Government Pays Compensation to 80 Flu Vaccine Injuries and Deaths

Other flu vaccine injuries included: acute disseminated encephalomyelitis, transverse myelitis, shingles (herpes zoster), neuropathic demyelination, seizures, neuropathy, brachial plexopathy, rheumatoid arthritis, optic neuritis, and Bell’s palsy.

Boy Removed from Family - Father Jailed Over Lyme Disease Disagreement

Failed Whooping Cough Vaccine Still being Used in the United States - Outbreaks Blamed on Unvaccinated

ABC News out of Australia is reporting that whooping cough cases among infants are increasing, and that the vaccine seems to be loosing its effectiveness. The National Centre for Immunisation and Research of Vaccine Preventable Diseases in Australia has found whooping cough cases are increasing in very young children. Senior research fellow Dr Helen Quinn says:

“The a-cellular vaccine we use now wanes. The immunity you get from them wanes a lot quicker from what we expected…Now that we’ve got this vaccine that doesn’t last quite as long, perhaps some of those increasing cases that we have seen, particularly among three-year-olds, is due to this waning of the vaccine.”

The pertussis vaccine for whooping cough is a failure. This fact is not even denied by mainstream medicine. Yet, the pro-pharma media continues to blame the tiny percentage of unvaccinated children as the cause of whooping cough outbreaks, when in fact the data clearly shows the outbreaks are occurring mainly among the vaccinated population.

After 15 years of testing and implementation across the planet, “Green Super Rice,” developed jointly by the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences and the International Rice Research Institute in the Philippines, is beginning to have a dramatic effect on crop yields.

The target is to have 20 million hectares under cultivation in another 10 years, according to Dr Jauhar Ali, a senior scientist and regional project coordinator at IRRI in Los Banos, south of Manila. It is in effect another green revolution with the potential to make an enormous contribution to feeding the world’s poor in Asia and Africa.

The ability to grow rice without pesticides or fertilizers, besides saving farmers money, is enormously important for the environment. Asia is becoming the dominant source of nitrogen pollution, producing as much as the rest of the world’s nations combined, particularly in the Yangtze and Pearl River deltas. Pesticide pollution is equally bad.

Largest International Study into Safety of GMO Food Launched by Russian NGO

A Russian group working with scientists is set to launch what they call the world’s largest and most comprehensive long-term health study on a GM food.

The $25m three-year experiment will involve scientists testing thousands of rats which will be fed differing diets of a Monsanto GM maize and the world’s most widely-used herbicide which it it is engineered to be grown with.

The organisers of the Factor GMO [genetically modified organism] study, announced in London (recently) and due to start fully next year, say it will investigate the long-term health effects of a diet of a GM maize developed by US seed and chemical company Monsanto.

“It will answer the question: is this GM food, and associated pesticide, safe for human health?” said Elena Sharoykina, a campaigner and co-founder of the Russian national association for genetic safety (Nags), the co-ordinator of the experiment.

The Glyphosate Contamination of Organic Food: An Update

How Journalists are Censored from Covering Both Sides of the Vaccine Debate

Investigative reporter Jennifer Margulis has asked Health Impact News to re-publish a book review she recently wrote, which was published by The Washington Independent Review of Books. This study should be the last nail in the coffin for Vytorin. It is a failed drug that has little usefulness. We would be better served to remove it from the marketplace.

CDC Admits Flu Vaccine Does Not Work - Influenza Outbreak on Fully Vaccinated Navy Ship
