Malik Mitchell turns 3 years old today, but he will not be celebrating his birthday at home with his family. Instead, he is still stuck in the Illinois Child Protective System, where he has been for more than a year and a half, away from his family. DCFS seized custody of Malik on December 6, 2013, after his grandmother, who had legal custody, asked for a second opinion about his medical care. Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago had already performed numerous surgeries on his tiny body, and Lakisha Tanna wanted to know if there were other options for her grandson.

The final court date to permanently remove custody is Tuesday, July 7, at 1:30 pm at the Juvenile Detention Center, 1100 S. Hamilton, Chicago. The State does not want the public to know about this, as they have issued a gag order on the family, and have told Health Impact News to take down our stories about Malik. We will not comply. Instead, we are encouraging the public to take action!

Bill Gates’ New Remote-controlled Contraceptive Microchip Could be Used for Eugenics

The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is funding the development of a contraceptive microchip that can be remotely controlled to release hormones that can act as abortifacients into a woman’s body for up to 16 years. Both the chip’s potential to take a life and the potential privacy concerns have drawn criticism.

The chip, which measures 20 x 20 x 7 millimeters, can be implanted under the skin of a woman’s buttocks, upper arm, or abdomen in 30 minutes. The device contains a 16-year reservoir of the drug levonorgestrel, releasing 30 micrograms a day – but the dosage can be altered by remote control, as well.

The announcement comes as the Gates Foundation is spearheading an international, multi-billion-dollar push for expanding birth control in the developing world, bringing charges from pro-life and political [groups] that they are engaged in global population control.

Dr. Robert Farra of MIT said the subcutaneous computer chip must be given “secure encryption” so that “someone across the room cannot re-program your implant.” To date, that security has not been developed.

“DARK Act” Will Block States from Banning GMO Crops

Rep. Mike Pompeo’s voluntary GMO labeling bill has been amended to include another brazen giveaway to Big Food and the biotech industries.

We’ve been closely monitoring the progress of the bill introduced by Rep. Pompeo (R-KS) and backed by industry. It’s titled, deceptively, the “Safe and Accurate Food Labeling Act of 2015”—and the news hasn’t been good. A few weeks ago, we reported that a Senate version of Pompeo’s bill was in the works while the House bill continued to gain co-sponsors and bipartisan support.

Worse, a new draft of the Pompeo bill doubles down in pandering to the Big Food and biotech industries. In this revision, states and localities would be prevented from banning GMO crops. That’s right—states would no longer have any oversight over genetically engineered crops!

Over the last few weeks, the bill has been continuing to gain momentum. Hearings on the measure have been held in the Energy and Commerce and the Agricultural committees, and a “mark-up” session is expected to happen soon, bringing the bill even closer to a vote.

Vaccine Research Scientist Sent to Prison for Vaccine Fraud

A federal judge has sentenced scientist and vaccine researcher Dong-Pyou Han to more than four and half years in prison and ordered him to repay $7.2 million in grant funds his team received from the federal government to develop an HIV vaccine.

Last year, the Iowa State University HIV vaccine researcher confessed to fraudulently injecting samples of rabbit blood with human antibodies to make an experimental HIV vaccine appear to have great promise, and earn $19 million in grant money from the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

The Washington Post is reporting that this is a very rare sentence for an academic researcher: “Academic misconduct often doesn’t even result in researchers losing their jobs, and it is even rarer for criminal charges and prison time to result from one of these cases. In 2006, a researcher pleaded guilty to falsifying information on an NIH grant and was sentenced to a year in prison — the first time such a sentence handed down for scientific misconduct.”

Dentists Take Advantage of Children on Medicaid

They’re raking in hundreds of millions of dollars across multiple states.

Over the past couple of years, the Office of the Inspector General (OIG), which is part of the Department of Health and Human Services, has been looking into a colossal scandal across the country. Thousands of dentists have been implicated in a series of reports by the OIG. The charge? Highly questionable Medicaid reimbursement bills for excessive and even needless services given to low-income children, often to their great harm.

The latest report from OIG looks at California. It identified 335 providers with questionable billing practices who collected $117.5 million from Medicaid for pediatric dental services in 2012 alone. Half of these dentists worked for dental chains, suggesting an organized scam. They are, in fact, gaming Medicaid.

It gets worse. OIS uncovered evidence suggesting that over 100 general dentists were either billing for procedures they didn’t do or were performing unnecessary dental procedures.

These are only the dentists who got caught. How many others are doing this? What about pediatricians treating children on Medicaid? One can only imagine the depths of this type of malfeasance.

Vaccine Induced Scurvy and Shaken Baby Syndrome

Most people, including babies, have only marginal reserves of vitamin C. Injections of vaccines containing a great number of toxic substances, such as formaldehyde, mercury and aluminium compounds, as preservatives and adjuvants, and foreign proteins (antigens) are the primary and documented cause of harmful immune response anaphylaxis.

Depletion of vitamin C reserves was linked to vaccination by Pekarek and Rezabek (1959) who demonstrated that when the rats are injected with pertussis vaccine, they develop an acute scurvy. The difference between rats and human babies is in that the rats produce their own vitamin C and recover fast, unlike the humans who do not.

While it is not surprising that scurvy still occurs in the twenty first century, it is surprising that modern doctors generally fail to recognize it.

Simple administration of sufficient doses of sodium ascorbate (a non acidic form of vitamin C) would save a very large number of premature deaths as demonstrated by Levy (2012) in his article “Vitamin C prevents vaccination side effects.”

Instead, tens of thousands of innocent parents and other care givers are serving long prison terms and being accused of Shaken Baby Syndrome, a non-existent invalid syndrome that in many cases can be directly related to vitamin C deficiency and scurvy.

My daughter Chiara is 13 years old. She was an athlete with a history of Hashimoto’s thyroiditis with elevated levels of anti-thyroid peroxidase antibodies. We discovered it much before receiving HPV vaccine.

Rengo Children's Health Deteriorates in State Custody: Parent Visitation Cut Off

It has been more than 7 months since Medical Kidnap published the story of 3 breastfeeding, homebirthed babies being seized by CPS in the state of Washington. Cleave and Erica May Rengo lost their children when someone worried about their homebirth called paramedics. Our original story has been shared over 1 million times on Facebook. They have reportedly been jumping through hoops ever since to get their children back.

They still don’t have them back.

In an interview with Medical Kidnap, the mother explains how their children’s health is rapidly deteriorating while in State care, as they took all three children off of her breast milk and an organic diet, and replaced it with toxic formula and commodity food heavy with GMOs that the children were not used to. Seeing the deplorable condition that their children were in outraged the parents, and as a result of their protests, visitation has been cut off.

In addition, the judge in their case has ordered the mother, Erica, to divorce the children’s father, Cleave, as a condition to receiving her children back, even though they never obtained permission from the State to get married in the first place by obtaining a marriage license.

A very exasperated mother cries out and asks: “Where are those who stand up for the women and children? Where are the Christians? Why aren’t people getting riled up about this? Where are the protests?”

Attorneys Being Trained to Fight Bogus Child Abuse Charges used in Medical Kidnappings

Incidences of innocent parents being accused of medical abuse from “abusive head trauma” (AHT), formerly known as shaken baby syndrome (SBS), are being reported more and more in the media these days. We have reported several of these stories here at MedicalKidnap.com, where babies are removed from the custody of their parents based on the testimony of a doctor. In some cases, the parents are going to jail over these accusations.

The increase in parents being accused of AHT seems to parallel a new Child Abuse Specialist certification with the American Academy of Pediatrics in 2010. This has created a whole new class of pediatricians whose sole purpose is to determine if a child’s injuries show parental or care giver abuse. Rather than the family pediatrician, who has regular contact with the family, making a determination if childhood injuries are indicative of abuse, now a “specialist” is called in who often has little or no contact with the family, and makes a determination of “abuse” simply on medical tests.

One has to wonder if more children need to be determined to be “abused” in order to justify the employment of this new class of pediatric “Child Abuse Specialists”?

Earlier this month (June 2015), the American Bar Association published an article in their Children’s Rights Litigation section documenting the growing problem of innocent parents losing their children to Child Protection Services based on the testimony of these new pediatric Child Abuse Specialists.

Federal Government Does not Want You to Know if Your Food has GMOs in it

A current proposed federal law on GMO food would prevent States from passing their own GMO laws on labeling GMO foods.

This past week, Scott Faber of the Environmental Working Group reported that Rep. Mike Pompeo’s anti-GMO labeling bill, H.R. 1599, would also prevent companies from voluntarily labeling their products with non-GMO claims. Section 102 of Pompeo’s bill would make any non-GMO claim a violation of federal labeling law – unless the non-GMO claim was approved through a new certification program to be established by the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Under Pompeo’s bill, it could take the USDA at least a year, and more likely years to set up such a certification program.

If you do not want the federal government forcing companies to stop voluntarily informing their consumers about whether or not their products have GMO ingredients in them, then urge your federal elected officials to oppose H.R. 1599 (and any Senate equivalent).

Medical Kidnapping in Pennsylvania: Parents of Baby with Rickets Accused of Abuse

Pennsylvania mother Jessica Battiato is frustrated with a doctor and a system that refuses to look for the medical cause of her baby’s condition, instead placing the blame on the parents. Since her son Cesar, now 5 months old, was taken by child protective services 2 months ago, her son has been diagnosed with rickets and hypotonia by a radiology expert. However, CPS seized custody of Cesar in April, based on accusations by Penn State child abuse specialist, Dr. Kathryn Crowell, that Cesar’s injuries could only be caused by abuse.

Dr. Crowell has been accused of falsely testifying against parents before. In a 2009 case she accused a parent of child abuse which led to a father spending over a year in jail. A jury later overturned the conviction.

Jessica wants answers for her baby, and she wants her baby back home, not in a foster home.

Study: Whooping Cough Resurgence Due to Vaccinated People Not Knowing They're Infectious

Whooping cough has made an astonishing comeback, with 2012 seeing nearly 50,000 infections in the U.S. (the most since 1955), and a death rate in infants three times that of the rest of the population. The dramatic resurgence has puzzled public health officials.

A new study published in BMC Medicine by Santa Fe Institute Omidyar Fellows Ben Althouse and Sam Scarpino reveals the source of the outbreak — vaccinated people who are infectious but who do not display the symptoms of whooping cough, suggesting that the number of people transmitting without symptoms may be many times greater than those transmitting with symptoms.

Althouse and Scarpino used whopping cough case counts from the CDC, genomic data on the pertussis bacteria, and a detailed epidemiological model of whooping cough transmission to conclude that acellular vaccines may well have contributed to — even exacerbated — the recent pertussis outbreak by allowing infected individuals without symptoms to unknowingly spread pertussis multiple times in their lifetimes.

“There could be millions of people out there with just a minor cough or no cough spreading this potentially fatal disease without knowing it,” said Althouse. “The public health community should act now to better assess the true burden of pertussis infection.”

Will public health officials heed Dr. Althouse’s advice, or will they instead ignore the research and continue blaming whooping cough outbreaks on unvaccinated children, while continuing to push laws to force children to receive this failed, dangerous vaccine?

10,000 Sue Syngenta Over Unapproved GMO Corn Shipped to China - U.S. Farmers Lose $5 Billion in Sales

Town hall meetings have been taking place recently regarding corn litigation with the Syngenta company.

The lawsuit is regarding claims that Syngenta sold genetically modified corn with a strain called MIR-162 to China without their approval of the modification.

“The first shipment that tested positive for MIR-162,” Hecker Law Group attorney Jacob Hecker said, “was destroyed by the Chinese in 2013. Afterwards all other shipments with trace amounts of the strain were sent back to where they came from.”

Due to the boycott, agriculture experts say the cost of the damages involved is in the range of $5 billion.

Medical Kidnapping in Missouri: 25 Year Old Daughter Forced onto Drugs and Committed to Mental Facility

A mother in Missouri has reached out to Health Impact News for help in getting the story of her 25 year old daughter told to the public. Donna Hitt from Columbia, Missouri tells Health Impact News that her autistic daughter, Chasity, started functioning at a high level after she weaned her off of psych drugs, and started feeding her an organic diet. Chasity had reportedly been confined to a hospital and heavily sedated, sleeping about 20 hours a day. After bringing her home, weaning her off of her drugs, and changing her diet, Donna reports that Chasity started functioning at a high level. She reportedly started contributing to household chores, attending church, and even applied for a job.

However, a social worker assigned to their case suggested that Donna should seek legal guardianship of Chasity, since Chasity is an adult. Donna says she followed this advice, and after the State of Missouri allegedly conducted a mental health evaluation of Chasity, they took over her custody against her will, and the will of her daughter. She is now confined to a mental facility, back on the same drugs she had previously suffered from, and is again sleeping away most of her days. Donna says she has not been able to talk to her daughter since October of 2014.

Gardasil Vaccine in Denmark: Serious Adverse Reactions Now Number 1 in 500 Girls

In March 2015, a Danish national television station (TV2) aired a documentary focusing on girls who suspected they had been injured by the HPV vaccine Gardasil. Supreme Court Rules Against USDA in Favor of Raisin Farmer and Property Rights

The U.S. Supreme Court today handed down their decision in USDA vs. Horne. They ruled against the USDA in favor of the Hornes, raisin farmers in California.

The USDA set to make an example of the Hornes for opting out of the price-fixing scheme, slapping them with about $1 million in fines and threatening their small farm.

The farmers sued, claiming that packaging and selling their raisins themselves rather than turning them over to the government pool made them “producers,” not “handlers,” and, therefore, not subject to the government rules.

The 8-1 decision was written by Chief Justice John Roberts, with the court’s more conservative justices in solid agreement. Roberts said the government violates citizens’ rights when it seizes personal property — say, a car — as well as real property such as a house.

While the government can regulate production in order to keep goods off the market, the chief justice said it cannot seize that property without compensation.

Medical Kidnapping in Maine: Child with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome & Sister Seized - Grandfather Commits Suicide

Brandon and Cynthia Ross became concerned after noticing their baby’s leg was swollen. Even though Ryder was not crying excessively, had no bruises, red marks, or any outward signs of injury other than the swelling, the couple took him to the doctor for an examination.

After performing some x-rays and finding the infant with multiple fractures throughout his body, the doctors sent the family to the Maine Medical Center (MMC) for further evaluation. Before the couple understood the depths of the evaluation, they were deemed guilty of child abuse by officials at MMC.

Six days after Ryder was admitted to the hospital, the state of Maine chose to remove both Ryder and his two year old sister Rosalynn from their parents’ care.

On June 12, 2014 Brandon, a twenty-five year old father, was indicted on twelve counts of child abuse and was arrested by Bath, Maine police. After being transported to the local jail, he received death threats from other inmates. The threats were taken so seriously that the jail provided Brandon with private accommodations for his safety.

On Father’s Day of 2014, just days after Brandon’s arrest, after telling the family he believed the state was out to get Brandon, Ryder’s seventy-four year old grandfather committed suicide, after writing a note falsely claiming responsibility for Ryder’s injuries.

In October of 2014, the true cause of the baby’s fractures was finally discovered. The little guy suffered from Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS). He, his mother, and his grandmother were diagnosed by Dr. Michael Holick at the Boston University Medical Center.

Drug Companies Donated Millions to California Lawmakers Before Vaccine Bill SB277 was Drafted

The Sacramento Bee is reporting this week what the alternative media has been reporting for months: California State lawmakers supporting bill SB277 to remove all parental exemptions to vaccines have direct financial ties to the makers of vaccines.

Pharmaceutical companies and their trade groups gave more than $2 million to current members of the Legislature in 2013-2014, about 2 percent of the total raised, records show. Nine of the top 20 recipients are either legislative leaders or serve on either the Assembly or Senate health committees. Receiving more than $95,000, the top recipient of industry campaign cash is Sen. Richard Pan, a Sacramento Democrat and doctor who is carrying the vaccine bill.

In addition, the industry donated more than $500,000 to outside campaign spending groups that helped elect some current members last year.

Pharmaceutical companies also spent nearly $3 million more during the 2013-2014 legislative session lobbying the Legislature, the governor, the state pharmacists’ board and other agencies, according to state filings.

Maine Takes Step Towards Medical Tyranny on Forced Vaccines

The Maine House of Representatives approved a bill to restrict parental choice in vaccine exemptions this week. It is now up to the Governor of Maine to either sign the bill, or veto it.

The bill requires parents opting out of required vaccinations on philosophic grounds to consult with and have a form signed by a medical professional before being permitted to forego vaccinations required for school. The 93-53 vote included all Democrats but one, as well as 12 Republicans, voting in favor. But the tally fell short of the 101 votes needed to override a veto by Gov. Paul LePage, should he choose to veto it.

Should parents be forced into getting a medical doctor to approve their decision? If parental rights are abrogated on this issue, what is next?

AMA Prepares Gag Order for Medical Dissenters

The American Medical Association’s latest attempt to shore up their medical monopoly could have stiff consequences for practitioners who don’t toe the line. Action Alert!

Angered by what they call “quack MDs,” the AMA recently decided to “actively defend the profession.” In particular, it plans to

“create ethical guidelines for physicians in the media, write a report on how doctors may be disciplined for violating medical ethics through their press involvement, and release a public statement denouncing the dissemination of dubious medical information through the radio, TV, newspapers, or websites.”

Dr. Mehmet Oz of The Dr. Oz Show was specifically mentioned as being responsible for the type of behavior and “pseudoscience” that the AMA would like to curtail.

Keep in mind that the AMA is not the voice of the medical profession. Its membership has slipped to the point where it represents only 17% of MDs, and many of those are free memberships given to medical students, yet it remains the fifth most powerful special interest on Capitol Hill, spending $19.7 million on lobbying in 2014. This gives it the clout to influence Medicare prices, make recommendations that shape national policy, and rake in about $218.8 million a year from its government-granted CPT medical code monopoly.

France Bans Sale of Monsanto Herbicide Roundup in Garden Centers

French Ecology Minister Segolene Royal announced today a ban on the sale of popular weedkiller Roundup from garden centres, which the UN has warned may be carcinogenic.

The active ingredient in Roundup, glyphosate, was in March classified as “probably carcinogenic to humans” by the UN’s International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC).

The weedkiller, used by amateur gardeners as well as farmers, is the star product of American biotechnology giant Monsanto.

“France must be on the offensive with regards to the banning of pesticides,” Royal said on French television.

“I have asked garden centres to stop putting Monsanto’s Roundup on sale” in self-service aisles, she added.

Supermarket Chains in Europe to Remove Glyphosate Weed Killer from Shelves

Swiss supermarket giants Coop and Migros have announced that they will no longer sell products that contain glyphosate, following the World Health Organization’s report stating that glyphosate is a probable human carcinogen. They have also announced that they will be exploring non-toxic alternative weed-killers.

Coop’s and Migros’s decisions followed German giant retailer REWE Group’s decision, announced in early May, to remove glyphosate herbicides from the shelves of their 350 ‘toom Baumarkt DIY’ starting in September.

If I Could Turn Back Time, Korey Would not Have Received any Gardasil Shots

If I could turn back time, I would go back to 10/1/13, the day before Korey received the 1st Gardasil vaccine for HPV. I would not have allowed the pediatrician to give her the HPV Vaccine just as I had refused it for the previous 4 years!!!!

But, I had not heard anything negative about Gardasil, and mistakenly, I thought she needed this vaccine. Why would our pediatrician give this vaccine if it was not proven or safe?

She received the 2nd booster on 12/2/13. This changed Korey’s life and ours as we had come to know it! She never received the 3rd shot since she became dizzy and nauseous within a few days of receiving the 2nd shot. The 2nd shot had triggered a downward spiral in her physical, mental, and emotional health.

Tell Congress to End Federal Funding for Child Welfare - Let Local Communities Take Over

Our nation’s Child Welfare system is corrupt, and there are few now who do not recognize the problems. American children in foster care are being abused. And that abuse is far greater than if the children had been left with their families in troubled homes. (See: Foster Care Children are Worse Off than Children in Troubled Homes.)

Where there is disagreement is in how to fix the Child Welfare problem. The current Child Welfare system is rife with corruption, as billions of dollars in federal aid cannot be collected by states unless they put children into the Child Welfare system.

Senator Ron Wyden from Oregon understands there is a problem, but his solution is to spend more federal taxpayer money, not less. Responding to a BuzzFeed investigative report that found “deaths, sex abuse, and blunders in screening, training, and overseeing foster parents at the nation’s largest for-profit foster care company,” Senator Wyden sent a letter to all 50 governors in the United States addressing the issue.

As a result, Senator Wyden is now proposing to spend more federal money on foster care in a supposed attempt to protect foster children. Is this really the correct solution? Will more government oversight and spending solve the current problems in the foster care system?

If you were to put that question before the many tens of thousands of parents in this country who have had their children taken away from them by social services like CPS, they would give you a resounding “NO!” as a reply.

If lawmakers are truly concerned about the incredible abuse of children in today’s foster care system, perhaps they should start interviewing the parents of these children who are taken out of homes, in many cases homes where they are loved by their parents, and are then put into abusive foster care centers or homes.

More government and more federal funding is NOT the answer: it is the problem.

There is no disputing the fact that mandatory vaccines will affect lower-income families in public education the most. Wealthier families will home school, find private alternative doctors to sign waivers, or move out of the State of California altogether.

Oregon Grass-fed Ranchers Face Criminal Charges for Grazing Animals

The latest from Paradise Ranch: The judge has ordered that all the animals we are charged with neglecting be forfeited unless we pay a bond of $39,780 by 4 p.m. Pacific time, Thursday, June 11. Unless we come up with the money by that time, 35 of our animals (cows and their calves, yearlings, and a boar) will be forfeited.

On Tuesday, January 27, 2015 we became accused criminals. The Union County Sheriff’s Department served us with a search and seizure warrant after several animals died over an extended period of time. The next day, they confiscated every head of livestock from our Summerville, Oregon property on the grounds of “criminal neglect”—but nothing more specific than that. They stole our breeding boar and sow, 6 mules, 5 horses, 23 yearling calves, 2 bulls, 4 steers, and 43 cows. The mother cows represent years of genetic selection for cows that will do well living on pasture and eating only grass. Almost all of our mother cows, all of our future beef, and hog breeding stock were taken. This is the majority of our livestock. Prior to the seizure, law enforcement had not presented us with any specific concerns that they wanted to see addressed. They did not work with us to have a veterinarian come on the property to assess our animals. They did not ask to see our hay purchase records to confirm how much hay we were buying and feeding. They had never cited us for lack of appropriate care for our livestock. This led us to think we were meeting their expectations. But in a matter of hours, they took our past, present, and future.

Are Parents Going to Jail for Vaccine Injuries?

One of the true travesties of justice in modern society is the medical profession’s refusal to acknowledge vaccine injuries. While U.S. law forces the government to pay out damages to vaccine injuries and deaths in a special federal vaccine court that was setup to protect the manufacturers of vaccines from any legal liabilities, medical professionals continue to deny the existence of vaccine injuries, and therefore research to learn how to help vaccine damaged children is never funded nor conducted.

The fact that the child autism rate has skyrocketed from a rate of 1 out of every 10,000 children to 1 out of every 50 in the past few years, and is still climbing, is a national tragedy as the science linking vaccines to autism is covered up or ignored.

But how much more of a travesty of justice is it when a child is harmed by vaccines resulting in brittle bones, and then the parents are put in prison for a false diagnosis of “Shaken Baby Syndrome,” while the real criminals go free and continue harming other children with their faulty medical products? These medical criminals can never be sued for damages in a court of law in the U.S., and therefore have no motivation at all to produce safe products. The U.S. government is the largest purchaser of childhood vaccines buying $4 billion worth of vaccines, giving the pharmaceutical companies a guaranteed market for their products.

And now, today in 2015, lawmakers in states like California are pushing to make these liability-free vaccines mandatory by removing parental exemptions. But if a child is found with broken bones due to a vaccine-induced brittle bone condition, the parent is the one who risks going to jail, not the manufacturer of the vaccine, nor the medical professional who administered it.

Feds to Reinvent School Lunches with Flavored Skim Milk Full of Toxic Additives

Reps. G.T. Thompson (R-PA) and Joe Courtney (D-CT) recently introduced the School Milk Nutrition Act of 2015, which seeks to increase dairy consumption in children by mandating low-fat and non-fat flavored milk for each school meal.

As usual, there are powerful interests involved: the dairy industry, looking to regain market share, is very much in support of the new bill.

The bill completely ignores the evidence indicating that whole dairy, as opposed to low-fat or non-fat, is the healthier option. Research has shown that consuming whole-fat dairy lowers the risk of diabetes, heart disease, and bowel cancer, and causes less weight gain compared to low-fat and non-fat dairy. The federal government, and the sponsors of this bill, rely on outdated ideas pointing to saturated fat as the enemy despite current research that says otherwise.

2015 Government Dietary Guidelines Continue Failed Low-Fat Advice

Despite a growing body of evidence that low-fat diets are harmful to health, the 2015 Dietary Guidelines for American Committee (DGAC) continues to recommend failed low-fat advice in its latest Advisory Report and request for public comment.

The Weston A. Price Foundation, a nutrition education foundation, recently filed comments that detail serious inconsistencies and bias in the Report. For example, the Committee recommends avoidance of red meat, but notes serious nation-wide deficiencies in protein, iron and zinc, nutrients best supplied by red meat. In addition, the Report continues warnings against animal fats like butter and lard, while urging increased consumption of omega-6 vegetable oils. Animal fats provide vitamins A and D, nutrients also lacking in the American diet, while the omega-6 vegetable oils are linked to cancer and heart disease.

“The tragedy is that these unscientific and agenda-driven guidelines are applied to breakfast and lunch in schools and day-care centers,” says Sally Fallon Morell, President of the Weston A. Price Foundation. “For example, growing children need the nutrients in the butterfat of whole milk, but whole milk is not allowed in federally funded meal programs.”

All Eyes on Jackson County Oregon as GMO Ban Survives Legal Challenge and Takes Effect

This past weekend (June 6, 2015) a historic ban on growing GMO crops went into effect in Jackson County, Oregon. The ban was the result of a ballot initiative in 2014, where citizens voted overwhelmingly to ban the growing of GMO crops in Jackson County, Oregon, by a 65.9% to 34.1% measure. This was seen as a significant victory, since the corporate opposition to the GMO ban spent over $1 million to try and defeat the measure.

Just after the GMO ban ballot initiative was passed, two GMO alfalfa farmers sued Jackson County saying the GMO ban would cause them undue financial hardship and violated their constitutional rights. But a federal judge rejected their request to block the ban on May 30th. U.S. Magistrate Judge Mark Clarke ruled that the GMO ban is not pre-empted by Oregon’s “right to farm” law.

Non-GMO farmers now seem to have a clear path to sue GMO farmers if their crops are contaminated by GMO crops in Jackson County, which would be a first in the U.S.

Does Medical Science Need Evolutionary Science?

Is evolutionary theory “critical” to medicine?

A poll of doctors from 2006 found that at least 34 percent of U.S. physicians think intelligence played a role in the origin of humans. That’s a very significant portion of doctors who support intelligent design.

On the flipside, evolutionary science has hindered medical research by promulgating the now-defunct concept of “junk DNA”. That’s the evolution-based idea that most of the DNA in human cells is useless junk. It’s now known that the vast majority of our DNA has function, but evolution discouraged research into “junk DNA.” In this regard, with its faulty understanding of “the human person” as being the result of strictly blind physical mechanisms, evolution has obstructed “advances in medicine.”

Many other examples could be given. For another, evolutionary science has wrongly assumed that many organs are “vestigial” and thus unnecessary or unimportant. Those organs include the appendix, tonsils, coccyx, and thyroid. It’s now known that each of those organs plays an important role in human physiology. By presuming nonfunctionality or reduced functionality in these organs, evolutionary science did great medical damage to many patients.

Gardasil Vaccine Survivors in Ireland Launch Support Group

The R.E.G.R.E.T. Support Group was launched recently in Ireland by parents of chronically ill teenage girls. These parents blame an injection the girls received at school as the cause of their daughters’ illness. The drug in question is called Gardasil and is being marketed as an anti-cancer vaccine. R.E.G.R.E.T. is an acronym for “Reactions and Effects of Gardasil Resulting in Extreme Trauma”.

Texas Baptist Home Failed to Protect Foster Kids from Sexual Abuse

Texas Baptist Home for Children says it has a mission to protect abused and neglected children.

Tell that to Bryan and Austin Cook of Cleburne.

They say they were molested by the same 13-year-old boy in one of the Waxahachie foster homes run by the Baptist agency. They say their cries for help were repeatedly ignored and discounted.

“We told our caseworkers about it,” said Austin, now 13. “We tried to tell Texas Baptist Home manager people, and they wouldn’t listen to us.”

A News 8 investigation has uncovered troubling new information appearing to back up their claims.

For more than a year, their mother, Angel Cook, has repeatedly claimed Austin, Bryan, and her oldest son, Justin, were sexually abused by other foster children while in foster care at Texas Baptist Home for Children. An Ellis County grand jury will soon hear a case against the teenager accused of sexually assaulting Justin in another of Texas Baptist’s foster homes in Waxahachie.

“Nobody listened, and two girls are now rape victims,” Angel Cook said. “They will forever have to live with this. You can never erase sexual assault.”

Arizona Continues Record Pace of Taking Children out of Homes into State Custody - Now 1 of every 100 Children in Foster Care

Can We Trust the CDC? British Medical Journal Reveals CDC Lies About Ties to Big Pharma

Jeanne Lenzer, associate editor of the British Medical Journal, has published an investigative report showing how the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is not honest when publishing disclaimers in their studies stating that “they have no financial interests or other relationships with the manufacturers of commercial products.”

This news does not come as a surprise to those of us in the alternative media, but it is significant that the report was published in one the world’s most respected medical journals, the British Medical Journal. Lenzer explains why this is so significant:

“The CDC’s image as an independent watchdog over the public health has given it enormous prestige, and its recommendations are occasionally enforced by law.”

She goes on to quote Marcia Angell, former editor in chief of the New England Journal of Medicine:

“The CDC has enormous credibility among physicians, in no small part because the agency is generally thought to be free of industry bias. Financial dealings with biopharmaceutical companies threaten that reputation.”

Maryland Father Accused of Abuse over Broken Bones - Both Children Removed from Home of Loving Parents

Max and Justine Gibbs were blessed with their second child on February 15th, 2014 in Lexington Park, Maryland. When their daughter was 8 weeks old, Max noticed her leg was swollen. With Justine being a nurse, they trusted the medical profession and believed that they would provide assistance to their daughter. Hospital test results showed 3 ribs and one femur were fractured in their daughter.

The questioning of abuse began and the Gibbs described the questioning as an interrogation. Maintaining his innocence, Max was arrested on 2 counts of child abuse and 2 counts of assault. Max had never been in trouble with the law, he was terrified and couldn’t believe what was happening.

Max and Justine took matters into their own hands and started researching. Justine went through testing and was diagnosed with Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. This type of EDS is classified as loose joints and chronic joint pain, a connective tissue disorder. Believing their daughter to also have EDS, the Gibbs requested that she see a geneticist.

The judge will not clear Max of all charges until the geneticist sees their daughter, and talks to the CPS abuse specialist. Although the doctor has contacted the abuse specialist, not just by phone several times but additionally by email, the abuse specialist has not returned any communication. The abuse specialist is now stating, according to the Gibbs family, that she does not have to abide by the court order and speak to the doctor. So their daughter still remains unseen by the geneticist, even though there is a court order in place, as CPS plans to adopt out both children.

Vaccine Injuries and Deaths Continue to Increase in Federal Vaccine Court

The Department of Justice issues a report on vaccine injuries and deaths every quarter to the Advisory Commission on Childhood Vaccines (Click on “Meeting Book – PDF – 12 MB” for June 4 meeting). There were 163 cases for vaccine injuries and deaths for the period 2/16/2015 through 5/15/2015.

103 of the settlements were listed in this report, giving the name of the vaccines, the injury, and the amount of time the case was pending before settlement. Four of those settlements were for deaths linked to vaccines, with three deaths related to the flu shot, and one death for the Hepatitis B shot, typically given to newborns. 74 of the 103 settlements were for injuries and deaths due to the flu shot, and the majority of flu shot injuries were for Guillain-Barré Syndrome.

Maine Doctors Abandon Conventional Treatment Model

Many primary care doctors commit to the profession because of their passion for caring for patients. But the reality of the job often requires doctors to pack each day with patient appointments. As time with patients shrinks and administrative tasks swell, the quality of care can suffer.

Out of frustration, some Maine doctors have decided to abandon the conventional treatment model for something called direct primary care. Doctors don’t accept insurance. Instead, they charge patients a monthly membership fee. It covers an unlimited number of visits, which last about 45 minutes.
