There will be a court hearing in Chicago regarding the case of 18 year old Missouri resident. Even though he is now an adult, Cook County DCFS, their child protective system, still retains control of his life. Supporters are calling for Illinois to “Free Isaiah Rider!” They invite the press and supporters to attend the hearing, which takes place on Monday, March 21, 2016, at 1:30 pm, at 1100 S Hamilton, Chicago, Illinois, at the Juvenile Court in the courtroom of Judge Nicholas Geanopoulos.

Supporters have been very frustrated with the fact that Isaiah Rider is now an adult, but the Illinois DCFS will not free him to live his life. Isaiah himself has pleaded, to no avail, for the system to let him go. He wants to be able to live his life without their interference.

Like the flawed Frontline documentary, like New York state’s attorney general, US Attorney General Loretta Lynch is spreading gross misinformation about dietary supplements.

Last week, Attorney General Lynch released a video for National Consumer Protection Week about supplements. Excuse us, but since when is the US attorney general an expert on this subject? Since she obviously isn’t, she must be relying on distortions and untruths she has been fed by other agencies of the government such as the FDA and Centers for Disease Control.

For instance, Ms. Lynch warns consumers against “ingesting substances whose safety and efficacy are not guaranteed” by FDA study. As we pointed out in our response to PBS, pharmaceutical drugs are also not studied by the FDA. The agency relies on industry studies to determine if new drugs can come to market. No independent review is done to check the industry’s results, which has led to all kinds of manipulation and sometimes disastrous outcomes (see the examples of Vioxx and Avandia). And after approval is granted, the actual medicine itself is never tested, even though it may be manufactured in Chinese plants or other faraway locales.

Australia Targets Low Income Families with "No Jab, No Pay" Vaccination Law

With the passage of The Public Health and Wellbeing Amendment of 2015, Australia has retrogressed to a state of gross human rights violations. The amendment, nicknamed No Jab, No Pay, is now active and targeting low income families exclusively.

Parents who are conscientious objectors to vaccination, for whatever reason, will now be unable to claim any childcare rebates and will lose their end-of-year family tax benefits. The No Jab, No Pay amendment, which went live on January 1, 2016, also restricts the ability of parents exercising medical choice to access childcare services.

The No Jab, No Pay vaccine amendment is estimated to cost low-income families with two children up to $30,000 a year.

Medically Kidnapped Children of Washington Parents Still not Returned - CPS Wants them Adopted

Three breastfed, homebirthed babies who were taken away from their parents by Child Protective Services in Washington state more than a year ago are still not home, but their mother reports that she is very hopeful that they will be home soon.

The story of Erica May Carey and Cleave Rengo’s children being taken by CPS was first reported by Health Impact News in November of 2014. Their heartbreaking story went viral and was read by more than 1.5 million people in less than 48 hours, leading to a national outcry. The governor of Washington reportedly received 6000 phone calls after the story was published.

Twins Morna and Daniel and their brother Levi remain in a foster home in Washington, but despite earlier placement in separate homes, the 3 siblings are together in the same foster home. As recently as the last court hearing, a Bellingham social worker is still telling the court that the children should be adopted out.

Erica reports that there is a new judge on her family’s case. She has been told that the court will not discuss the case further or consider the children coming back home until he gets the In-Home Study report in his hands.

World Renowned Neuropathologist has Career Destroyed for Disproving Shaken Baby Syndrome

The medical theory of “shaken baby syndrome” (SBS) is quickly losing credibility, with many doctors, scientists, and attorneys now speaking out against SBS and the fact that innocent parents have been falsely accused of child abuse. Courts are now re-trying some cases based on testimonies from these doctors and professionals, and some cases have recently been over-turned.

The medical profession is fighting back. The reasons are quite obvious. To admit that the theory behind SBS is false, would open the door to major litigation, as the theory has been used to convict thousands of parents of child abuse, and to perhaps remove tens of thousands of children from their homes and families. There is also massive federal funding available to seize these children, making them an asset to the state.

So the apparent strategy of the medical profession is to attack those doctors now testifying against SBS on behalf of innocent parents, destroying their credibility and license to practice. Without their expert testimony, it will be much more difficult to fight false SBS convictions.

The latest effort along that front is the action the British General Medical Council has taken against world renowned pediatric neuropathologist Dr. Waney Squier, who has now had her career effectively destroyed for testifying to the truth.

Almost all American Grains Are Contaminated with Glyphosate Herbicide

Glyphosate, the main ingredient in Monsanto’s Roundup herbicide, is recognized as the world’s most widely used weed killer. What is not so well known is that farmers also use glyphosate on crops such as wheat, oats, edible beans and other crops right before harvest, raising concerns that the herbicide could get into food products.

According to Tom Ehrhardt, co-owner of Minnesota-based Albert Lea Seeds, sourcing grains not desiccated with glyphosate prior to harvest is a challenge. “I have talked with millers of conventionally produced grain and they all agree it’s very difficult to source oats, wheat, flax and triticale, which have not been sprayed with glyphosate prior to harvest,” he said. “It’s a ‘don’t ask, don’t tell policy’ in the industry.”

“Can you imagine the public’s response if they knew that glyphosate is being sprayed on the oats in their Cheerios only weeks before it is manufactured?” Ehrhardt asked.

Anxiety Drug Overdoses in U.S. Hit Record Levels

Prescription drug overdoses have become alarmingly common in the U.S., with opioid painkillers, such as Vicodin and Oxycontin, among the drugs most frequently making headlines.

New research shows another class of drugs — benzodiazepines or “benzos” — is rising in the ranks of overdose deaths, however.

Prescriptions for such drugs, which include brand names Valium, Ativan and Xanax, tripled from 1996 to 2013, but this doesn’t fully account for the uptick in overdoses, which quadrupled during that time period.

Researchers from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York used data from the Medical Expenditure Panel Survey and multiple-cause-of-death data from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to describe trends in benzodiazepine prescriptions and overdose deaths.

For starters, they found that the number of U.S. prescriptions for the drugs rose from 4.1 percent in 1996 to 5.6 percent in 2013 — a 37 percent increase.

Further, the rate of overdose deaths increased from 0.58 per 100,000 adults at the start of the study to about 3 per 100,000 adults at the end, which represented a more than 500 percent increase.

Americans At Greater Risk Of Glyphosate Exposure Than Europeans

Americans are more likely than Europeans to be exposed to Monsanto’s glyphosate weed killer. That’s in large part because the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s calculations to determine allowable levels of glyphosate use are much more lax than the European Union’s.

And American growers spray a lot of glyphosate.

As Dr. Charles Benbrook points out in his paper, Monsanto’s genetically engineered Roundup Ready crops made it possible for growers to spray glyphosate more often – and almost up to harvest time. That leaves more of the weed killer’s residues on the crops.

Moreover, ever since genetically engineered crops came on the market and drove up the use of Roundup, the EPA has been ratcheting up the allowable levels of glyphosate residue for certain crops.

Are Ineffective New Meningitis B Vaccines Causing Harm to Children?

With U.S. doctors questioning the safety and effectiveness of the new meningitis B vaccines in a shocking San Diego Union Tribune news report, we need to ask ourselves whether or not our children are more at risk from the vaccine, than they are from the disease itself.

This is a real possibility because according to the Tribune, risk of catching the disease is rare and patients from families with a history of immune system disease could be at risk from severe adverse reactions.

Dr. Mark Sawyer, an infectious disease specialist at Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego, told reporters:

“Newer vaccines on the market lack comprehensive evidence on safety and effectiveness, compared with vaccines that have been administered to tens of millions of people over decades.”

Furthermore, he continued by informing reporters that he did not vaccinate his own daughter because he did not feel that she was at an increased risk and stated:

“Parents should realize that there are many more pressing threats on the vaccination front.”

59 Indigenous Corn Varieties at Risk as Monsanto Eyes Mexico

Mexico’s unique and treasured native corn varieties could be under threat as Monsanto, the world’s largest seed producer, vies to plant genetically modified (GMO) corn in the country.

In August 2015, a Mexican judged overturned a September 2013 ban on GMO corn, thus opening more business opportunities for Monsanto and other agribusinesses pending favorable later court decisions. Monsanto even announced in October 2015 that it was seeking to double its sales in the country over the next five years.

The GMO corn ban remains pending a ruling on the appeal, but a final decision could end up in Mexico’s supreme court.

Gardasil Vaccine Put Our Lives on Hold

At 8 years of age, my daughter Calli was diagnosed with ADHD. She was full of energy, constantly on the go, enjoyed singing, acting and music, loved meeting up with friends.

Fast forward to the 11th of December 2013. That’s the day Calli received the second dose of the HPV vaccine Gardasil. The 12th of December Calli went to bed at 10pm and at 10.45pm screamed ‘mum!’ I rushed upstairs to find her in a state of acute confusion, unable to see and very frightened. At first I thought she was dreaming but no, this was the beginning of our nightmare.

What has concerned me since the 12th of December is that when the school sent out the consent form and their information leaflet, no mention was made of any serious adverse reactions which could occur following HPV vaccination. The serious side effects are listed on the Patients Information Leaflet which is not sent out to parents at the time of requesting consent. Friday 13th December 2013 at 10am while the doctors were at her bed, Calli had a Tonic Clonic Seizure. This was the most frightening experience I have ever witnessed. I thought my child had died in front of me.

It’s over two years since Calli received the HPV vaccine and it has been very difficult for her. It has also been difficult for me to watch her every day not knowing how she will be or how much she will suffer. We just have to work on a day to day basis and cannot plan anything. Our lives are on hold at the moment.

I just wish I did more research on the side-effects of this vaccine before I consented to vaccinate. I feel very guilty.

Nursing Student Dismissed for Refusal to Lie about Vaccines Has Case Continue in Court

The FDA now officially belongs to Big Pharma

It is hard to believe only four senators opposed the confirmation of Robert Califf, who was approved [recently] as the next FDA commissioner.

Califf, chancellor of clinical and translational research at Duke University until recently, received money from 23 drug companies including the giants like Johnson & Johnson, Lilly, Merck, Schering Plough and GSK according to a disclosure statement on the website of Duke Clinical Research Institute.

Not merely receiving research funds, Califf also served as a high level Pharma officer, say press reports. Medscape, the medical website, discloses that Califf “served as a director, officer, partner, employee, advisor, consultant or trustee for Genentech.” Portola Pharmaceuticals says Califf served on its board of directors until leaving for the FDA.

In disclosure information for a 2013 article in Circulation, Califf also lists financial links to Gambro, Regeneron, Gilead, AstraZeneca, Roche and other companies and equity positions in four medical companies. Gilead is the maker of the $1000-a-pill hepatitis C drug AlterNet recently wrote about. This is FDA commissioner material?

New Mexico Law Prohibits Forced Psychiatric Drugging of Children - First Such Law in the U.S.

The Citizens Commission on Human Rights (CCHR) has produced and released a new video featuring New Mexico lawmaker Nora Espinoza, who sponsored New Mexico House Bill 53 which ensures that a parent’s decision not to administer psychotropic drugs to a child is not grounds for a child being removed from parental custody by Child Protective Services (CPS). The law also restricts school personnel from taking any action against the parent or compelling or requiring any student to take a psychotropic drug and, further, requires parental written consent prior to any psychological screening.

CCHR states that: “This is the strongest law against childhood drugging ever acted in the United States.”

Study: Big Pharma's Smoking Gun - Antidepressants Proven to Double Suicidality

Researchers from the University of Copenhagen, Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, and Nordic Cochrane Centre, Rigshospitalet, Copenhagen, Denmark have conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis of the relationship between antidepressant treatment and increases in suicidality and aggression. Their study, published in the British Medical Journal, was based on 64,381 pages of clinical reports reveals new information on harms – pharmaceutical antidepressant treatment actually doubles the risk for suicidality in children and adolescents. “We believe ours is the first comprehensive review of randomised controlled trial data using clinical study reports for aggressive behavior and akathisia, and our finding of the doubling of aggression in children and adolescents is novel.”

Idaho Lawmakers Want to Allow Pharmacists to Vaccinate Children as Young as 6 Years Old

SB 1294 was introduced in the Idaho Senate Health and Welfare Committee February 10, 2016 and has passed the full Senate. The next step is a hearing in the House Health and Welfare Committee that will be scheduled in the coming days. SB 1294 would permit pharmacists to prescribe and administer vaccines to children 6 years of age or older. Legislation already allows pharmacists to vaccinate 12 year-olds, this bill reduces the age to 6 year olds.

Our rights are being undermined. Although you may not think it is a big deal if pharmacists vaccinate 6 year olds, it is for many reasons. Pharmacists do not know a child’s medical history, do not have access to their records, may never see a child again so be unaware of reactions, and have no liability for vaccines they administer. In addition, we have visited 3 Idaho pharmacists and they are not following existing law with respect to reporting reactions and notifying parents that vaccines and the vaccine registry are voluntary.

In addition, the pattern across the country is clear, once pharmacists can vaccinate younger children, they will attempt to remove parental consent as has been done in some states. Family Faces Criminal Prosecution and Loss of Children for not Vaccinating Child who Died

As we have reported frequently here at Health Impact News, State governments in the U.S. and countries around the world are trying to eliminate vaccine exemptions, and make all vaccinations mandatory, by force if necessary.

Parents who have had a social worker by the name of AUDREY POWELL out of the Lexington or the surrounding areas: Powell was arrested after being charged with official misconduct and theft of identity charges after allegedly posing as another social worker named Hannah Bailey.

We have been apprised that every social worker has a ID password to identify themselves when they log into the CPS system, so how did she gain access to Ms. Bailey’s ID? Should the question be raised as to whether Hannah Bailey was conspiring with Powell to assist her in extorting Griffin to reconcile their two month relationship?

If Powell or Bailey have been or are currently the social workers assigned to your case you should request, no, insist, a new investigation commensurate.

Powell’s credibility is diminished and every case she oversaw should be re-investigated. Powell’s alleged actions in this case have revealed the extent to which she would go for her desired outcome.

Flu Vaccine Injury and Death Claims Increase in 2016

It came as no surprise to me that during the meeting of the Advisory Commission on Childhood Vaccines (ACCV) on December 4, 2015 that the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and Division of Injury Compensation Programs (DICP) reported that the number of vaccine injury claims for this fiscal year will exceed previous years. I have monitored this committee for the past six years and have seen the number of claims rise every year. Sadly they are likely to represent only a fraction of the vaccine injured, due to the lack of public awareness of the existence of the federal Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP) created under the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act of 1986, which has a record of dismissing two-thirds of claims received.

The estimated 1,000 claims that the VICP anticipates being filed in 2016 are projected to cost $224 million. Although the VICP was originally created by Congress to shield drug companies producing government licensed, recommended and mandated vaccines for children, today it is not children but adults injured by influenza vaccine who are receiving most of the compensation.

Colombian Constitutional Court Orders Official Investigation Into HPV Vaccine Injury Epidemic

Unlike the U.S. where victims of vaccine damage cannot sue the manufacturer of the vaccine, lawsuits against the HPV vaccine are mounting in many countries around the world.

Colombian mainstream media has been reporting breaking news this week as the Colombian Constitutional Court has ordered health authorities to deliver “as soon as possible” thorough tests of the initial HPV vaccines given in 2013. The court order directs the District Department of Health Bogotá to conduct toxicology tests to determine whether the HPV vaccines contain heavy metals such as aluminum, lead, cadmium, silver and titanium.

Following these studies, the National Institute of Health (NIH), the Colombian Association of Rheumatology and the National Cancer Institute are to deliver to the court any studies demonstrating the negative effects and contraindications of HPV vaccines. According to statements, the mission of the court is to establish whether health authorities violated the fundamental right to health of Colombian girls by not previously warning about the alleged negative effects of the vaccine.

Said another way, the court wants to know why, like in every other country where the HPV vaccine is administered, informed consent was not given.

Pharmaceutical Companies Cause Doctors to Receive Biased Information about Drugs "Costing Hundreds of Thousands of Lives"

Pharmaceutical companies are causing biased information to be given to doctors about the efficacy of drugs, causing an epidemic of misinformed practitioners that is “costing hundreds of thousands of lives” across the world, it has been claimed.

Speaking to The Independent, Dr Aseem Malhotra, an NHS cardiologist and a trustee of the King’s Fund health think tank, claims there is: “a systemic lack of transparency in the information being given to doctors to prescribe medication, in terms of the benefits of drugs being grossly exaggerated and their side effects under reported in studies”.

Dr Malhotra said the prevalence of pharmaceutical companies, which are “profit making businesses” being able to fund studies and drug trials causes biased information to be recorded and reported on in medical journals. This is in turn “creating an epidemic of misinformed doctors,” he said, stressing that the heart of the issue is “corporate interest trumping patient interest.”

Child Kidnapping and Trafficking: A Lucrative U.S. Business Funded by Taxpayers

Child Protective Service (CPS) is big business – to the tune of billions of dollars.

Many allege that federal funding is the root of the problem with CPS, and that the real incentive is perpetuating a lucrative business employing tens of thousands of people, and not protecting children. Whenever there is evil or corruption, often all one has to do is “follow the money.” The Bible says it best: “For the love of money is the root of all evil.”

The late Congresswoman Nancy Schaefer wrote: “I have witnessed such injustice and harm brought to these families that I am not sure if I even believe reform of the system is possible! The system cannot be trusted. It does not serve the people. It obliterates families and children simply because it has the power to do so. Children deserve better. Families deserve better. It’s time to pull back the curtain and set our children and families free.”

Many assert that CPS has become a business based on moving children from one home (the birth home) and into another (state custody foster care, group home, or adoptive home) in order to turn on the tap to get the federal funds flowing, and is not a system concerned with protecting children from abuse. Brian Shilhavy, editor of Health Impact News, refers to this as state-sponsored “child trafficking.”

Iowa State University to Pay Students $900 to Eat Experimental GMO Bananas

Iowa State University researchers are moving ahead with a long-delayed project in which a dozen students will be paid to eat one genetically modified banana each.

Earlier this week, activists delivered petitions calling on the project’s halt to university officials and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, which is funding the project. The activists said more than 57,000 people signed the petition.

“ISU students are being asked to be the first to consume a product of unknown safety,” the activists said in a prepared statement. “The study is not being conducted in a transparent manner, and concerned ISU community members have not been able to receive answers about the research design, risks, nature of the informed consent given by the subjects and the generalizability of the study.”

The trial is expected to take place sometime this year.

Study: Natural Ginger Alternative 10,000 Times More Effective than Chemo

A recently published study in PLoS indicates that a substance found in ginger called 6-shogaol is a potent agent in fighting breast cancer—much more potent than chemotherapy and much less dangerous.

Shogaol—from the Japanese word for ginger—is special because it doesn’t merely target cancer cells in general, but cancer stem cells that are responsible for the growth of tumors. These cancer stem cells, while few in number, can self-renew, split off, and create new tumors, and are resistant to chemotherapy treatments.

FDA Attacks Brain Health Supplements

In October we told you about a potential new blockbuster drug for Alzheimer’s from drug giant Eli Lilly. Solanezumab is in the third and final phase of FDA drug trials, and if approved, could bring in at least $7.6 billion in sales by 2024 and probably much more. Other drug companies also have “big” Alzheimer’s drugs in the works.

Now the FDA has sent warning letters to five supplement companies targeting the supplement picamilon, which may help with Alzheimer’s, anxiety, and general brain health.

The FDA’s attack on picamilon appears to be an attempt to give Big Pharma an unobstructed playing field for their Alzheimer’s drug.

Write to the FDA and tell them that picamilon is not a synthetic drug at all, and needs to stay on supplement store shelves!

Did Two Medical Journals Just Blacklist Gardasil Research Showing Dangers of the Vaccine?

Recently, the medical journal Vaccine has abruptly withdrawn a study that casts doubt on the safety of Merck’s Gardasil HPV vaccine, and by extension, the entire global push to mandate the shot by law to boys and girls. Are the nine authors of the recently rejected Gardasil study another chapter in the continued global vaccine research fraud? The study found that mice injected with Merck’s Gardasil HPV vaccine exhibited neurological and behavioral abnormalities. The study concluded to suggest curbing the current worldwide push to immunize all boys and girls with the HPV vaccine pending further investigation.

The move by the journal Vaccine to put on hold and send for re-review the recent Gardasil HPV study is raising questions. Sources told Health Impact News that the pulled HPV study was temporarily removed at the request of Vaccine’s Editor-in-Chief Dr. Gregory Poland. In addition, Dr. Poland recommended the study be further reviewed. Commenting on these unusual events, one of the Gardasil HPV vaccine study’s authors, Dr. Shaw, told Health Impact News: “It is odd that an already peer-reviewed, revised after review, and then accepted study would be re-reviewed.”

Colorado Health Department Wants to Track Parents Filing for Vaccine Exemptions

Through an audacious political maneuver, The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) is pushing a bill, HB 1164, attempting to hijack control of vaccine exemptions and force all families using a vaccine exemption to submit it online directly to them for their storage and use.

In the words of the sponsor of this offensive bill himself, Rep. Pabon, “This is some of the most sensitive data that the government can collect.”

Parents and individuals who have exercised their legal right to delay or exempt their child or themselves from one or more of the vaccines required for daycare, school or college do not want their most sensitive, personal medical information handed over to the state department of health.

10-Month Old Baby Medically Kidnapped in Michigan

Michigan parents Josh Soto and Alexandria Burgess took their ten month old baby girl Selena to the pediatrician on September 1, 2015 because she was fussy, tugging on her ears, cutting teeth, had severe diaper rash, and seemed to have pain in her legs.

The pediatrician didn’t seem concerned, and gave her Benedryl and a cortisone cream for her diaper rash. He suggested that they keep an eye on her but didn’t note any concerns.

Ten days later, on September 11, 2015, Selena’s pain seemed to have increased so they took her to the E.R. of a local hospital, Promedica-Bixby in Adrian, MI. The attending nurse initially ordered a hip x-ray, but Alexandria and Josh requested that they x-ray her legs, too, to be thorough.

When the doctor came back into the room she said she had two broken legs, and asked “How did this happen?” They were referred to the University of Michigan Mott Children’s Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan where a child abuse doctor determined that Selena had been abused, and had Child Protection services take custody of the child.

The mother states: “We did everything we were supposed to as parents, and yet still found ourselves in this nightmare. This time, these moments with her…..we never get it back. Her first birthday, Thanksgiving, Christmas, her first time saying ‘Momma’, her first steps…..all away from home. All ruined by this nightmare we’ve been thrown into.”

Medical Cannabis Becoming More Available to American Consumers

As news about the disease-fighting abilities of medical cannabis (or medical marijuana) become more known, making cannabis a legitimate healing product rather than just a recreational drug, many consumers are beginning to research how one can avail of these curative natural medicines, and where to go to find them.

Almost like dominoes falling against each other beginning with California, states have adopted medical marijuana laws to allow qualified patients access to home grown and locally dispensed cannabis products. California, Oregon, Washington State, and Colorado are the most well known.

There are 19 other states plus the District of Columbia, bringing the total to 24 independent medical cannabis regions in the United States.

There are a few additional states that allow cannabis without THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), the compound that has psychoactive effects. The result is an oil or tincture that produces medicinal effects without the “high.” These formulas have shown to be effective for children who suffer chronic epileptic seizures, for example.

The CBD (cannabidiol) strain is initially what impressed CNN’s Dr. Sanjay Gupta to reverse his negative stand on medical marijuana applications and declare his positive opinion openly on TV, endorsing medical cannabis.

New Study: GMO Crop Contamination Spreading

A recent USDA report acknowledging the spread of genetically engineered alfalfa into the wild is just further proof of what natural health advocates have known for a long time: that genetically engineered crops cannot “coexist” with traditional, organic agriculture.

The report details the findings of a USDA team that analyzed three areas where alfalfa is grown: California, Idaho, and Washington. Of the over 400 areas the researchers studied, over a quarter (27%) contained GE alfalfa with Monsanto’s Roundup Ready-resistant gene. The study’s results stated that “transgenic [GE] plants could spread transgenes to neighboring feral plants, and potentially to neighboring non-GE fields.”

This should come as no surprise.

The problem is getting worse. Farmers in Oregon, fighting for a bill that would allow local governments to regulate crops and seeds, recently told legislators that contamination leads to real financial losses: “We lose money when we have a GMO contamination event, which I’ve had happen twice. We lose money directly, as have other growers,” said one organic farmer at a committee hearing.

Questioning the CDC’s Childhood Vaccine Schedule: Vaccine Combinations Never Tested for Safety

As state legislatures move to eliminate personal and religious exemptions to vaccination, vaccine safety has become an increasingly critical issue. The number of vaccines in the CDC’s childhood vaccine schedule has almost quadrupled in the last 60 years. The federally recommended childhood vaccine schedule has not been adequately tested for safety and takes a one-size fits all approach.

In our medical and legal system, the burden of proof that a vaccine caused the injury or death of a child currently lies with parents. This is unacceptable when there are so many gaps in knowledge about vaccine risks and there is no liability in the civil court system for companies that market vaccines and those who administer vaccines to children.

The burden of proof for the safety of vaccines should rest with the pharmaceutical corporations marketing and profiting from vaccines, the federal health agencies regulating and recommending vaccines, and the state health departments and legislatures mandating vaccines. So far, there has been little solid evidence provided to the public that these liability-free pharmaceutical products are safe to give to every child.

FDA to Finally Start Testing for Glyphosate Herbicide in American Food

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) are the two federal agencies in the United States responsible for protecting consumer rights in regards to food safety. Millions of dollars of U.S. taxpayer funds are spent on testing foods annually to monitor the presence of pesticides and herbicides in the nation’s food supply.

However, the most commonly used herbicide which is sprayed on to genetically modified crops is routinely not tested. Glyphosate, the main ingredient used in Roundup Ready, is the most common herbicide in the world, sprayed on many billions of acres of crops each year. Neither the FDA nor the USDA routinely test for the presence of this herbicide in the nation’s food.

That is apparently about to change.

Civil Eats is reporting that the FDA will now start testing certain foods for the presence of glyphosate.

Forensic Food Scientist Mike Adams Launches Non-profit Testing Initiative to Test Every U.S. City's Water Supply

Two citizen scientists who lead a non-profit food and water laboratory in central Texas have teamed up to prevent children across America from being poisoned with lead in municipal water supplies. Forensic food scientist Mike Adams has teamed with a former NASA contract scientist to conduct nationwide scientific analysis of heavy metals in the tap water of U.S. cities.

The effort is being organized by the non-profit Consumer Wellness Center (ConsumerWellness.org), with executive director Mike Adams leading the scientific analysis. Over the next three months, the team plans to test the water of at least 100 large U.S. cities, reporting the results to the public on the website EPAwatch.org.

South Carolina Family Destroyed: Forced Vaccines, Sexual Abuse, Bruises Show Harm in State Care

The Headley boys of South Carolina aren’t coming home any time soon, according to a recent hearing in family court. While their parents, William and Danielle, continue to fight to get them back, the family says that the boys are suffering in CPS custody. They are currently being held in a group home, and the parenting of their children by the government is quite concerning to the family. The children are reportedly being forced to have vaccines that they have medical exemptions for, are losing weight, are being sexually abused, and are showing up to visits with bruises.

The state is also reportedly ignoring evidence that would clear the parents.

Danielle Headley still faces criminal charges of child abuse and neglect, but no trial date has been set. Greenville Memorial Hospital and Child Abuse Specialist Nancy Henderson have accused her of Munchausen syndrome by proxy, or medical child abuse, after the Headley’s youngest son Jack, now 4, was in and out of the hospital for much of his life.

The family received documents last week summarizing the findings of the family court, and there are a number of things that are concerning to the family, things which should be concerning to every family in America with children.

How to Prevent and Treat Kidney Problems With Food

Your kidneys — two bean-shaped organs — are located just below your rib cage one on either side of your spine. Positioned on top of each kidney are your adrenal glands. Each day, your kidneys filter up to 150 quarts of blood and flush out waste products through your urine.

One of the reasons why you need to drink enough water is to ensure healthy kidney function. In fact, chronic low-grade dehydration is one of the most common causes of kidney stones.

Poor kidney function is also associated with a number of other serious health problems, including diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease.

Recently Vaccinated Kids Are Spreading Whooping Cough Everywhere

There was fuss in the media last month about a little study of 26 vaccinated Florida pre-schoolers, who got sick with B. pertussis whooping cough or had pertussis-like symptoms during a five-month period in 2013. All of the children, aged one to five years attending the Tallahassee preschool, had received three to four doses of pertussis vaccine (DtaP) according to the CDC recommended schedule.

Vaccine orthodoxy dictates that if 90% or more of people in a community get vaccinated, the community will be protected from infectious disease.

However, the CDC now quietly admits on its website that “the bacteria that cause pertussis are always changing at the genetic level” and there is “waning immunity” from the vaccine.

Clearly, six doses of pertussis vaccine given to children between two months and 16 years of age cannot prevent pertussis infection and asymptomatic transmission of infection by vaccinated persons. Pertussis vaccination does not prevent fully vaccinated children and adults from transmitting the infection to infants under two months of age, who are the ones most likely to die from complications of pertussis.

Pertussis vaccine acquired herd immunity is a myth.

So what is the solution that public health officials have come up with?

It is irrational and completely unscientific but here it is: vaccinate all pregnant women.

“Marysue went from being a normal 9-year-old to basically a newborn child,” explained Carla Grivna, the little girl’s mother.

On November 20, 2013, Marysue’s parents took her to the doctor where she received her annual flu shot.

It was typical of Marysue to awake by 7 a.m. and then go into wake her parents up.

On the morning of November 26, 2013, she never made it to her parent’s bedroom.

“The look on her face was like help me, like she was scared but she couldn’t respond to me,” Carla recalled.

Child Trafficking Reported in Kentucky as “One of the Most Corrupt States in the Country”

MedicalKidnap.com has been reporting alleged corruption within Kentucky’s Cabinet Department of Community Based Services (DCBS) for over a year, but the history of alleged corruption goes back much further. Even though the corruption was investigated and exposed, it appears today in 2016 that Kentucky DCBS and Family Courts still conduct “Business as Usual,” sanctioning adoption over family reunification resulting in what many refer to as “child trafficking,” according to the many stories we continue to receive from parents on a weekly basis.

Study: GMO Corn Shown to be Hazardous to Health of Farm Animals

In 1997, Gottfried Glöckner, an award-winning dairy farmer in Germany, became the first farmer to grow and feed Bt176 corn to his prized Holstein cows. The test continued until 2002.

According to Séralini, this was the longest running and most detailed observation of farm animals ever performed for a GE crop.

Since 1986, when Glöckner took over the farm, he’d had no cases of serious disease on his farm. That all changed once he started feeding his cows Bt176 in 1997.

As Glöckner increased the amount of Bt176 corn in the cows’ feed, gradually going from 2 to 40 percent over the course of two years, the worse his cows fared. At the outset, 70 percent of his cows produced high yields of milk, which is considered normal.

Once the GMO content of the feed reached 40 percent, a mere 40 percent of his cows were high-yielding. In 2000, milk tested positive for the Bt176 DNA specific fragment, which under European law meant the milk had to be labeled as coming from GE-fed animals.

Peak mortality was reached in 2002, when 10 percent of his cows died after suffering a long period of partial paralysis. Thirty percent of the herd was sick with a variety of ailments.

Gardasil: I Will Never Stop Warning Others

I continue to warn every parent to get fully informed about this vaccine and do your research. I have no trust in our health system and feel doctors aren’t informing us enough on the risks and have no idea how to help the sick children affected by HPV vaccines.

I continue to hope my daughter will completely recover. Nevertheless, I consider Jemma is one of the lucky ones. At least she has an opportunity to recover – many didn’t get that chance. Their parents paid the ultimate price. This makes my skin crawl and I shiver even knowing young lives have been taken away and families destroyed. It is just disgraceful and wrong at every level.

I will never stop warning others – I spread awareness to save other children. No child deserves to have their life cut short by disability or death. No family deserves to live with this type of pain.

I can only hope one day this vaccine will be withdrawn from the Immunization schedule so that our healthy young girls and boys will not be submitted to so much risk for so little benefit.

National Cancer Prevention Month: An Alternative to Empty Awareness

Everything these days seems to be focused on raising awareness about something. Autism, mesothelioma, global warming, saving the whales… we’re constantly bombarded with so-called “consciousness campaigns.” These campaigns are designed to grab our attention and direct it towards a particular cause. A cause which we’re apparently supposed to just acknowledge while handing over our money.

Not to make light of some of the more pressing issues of our day, raising awareness can and does have its place. If all those billboards warning about the dangers of second-hand smoke never existed, for instance, many more parents might still be smoking cigarettes in front of their children. Hence awareness of second-hand smoke may be credited with reducing risk of lung disease and cancer.

In other words, not all awareness initiatives are inherently bad. The problem lies in what these campaigns often fail to address, particularly when disease is involved: prevention. Perhaps you didn’t even realize that February has been designated as National Cancer Prevention Month. This is because most of the major cancer foundations have chosen to focus on awareness instead of prevention.

I was waiting to comment on the Zika virus until more information comes to light, but I have decided to throw my two cents in. As most of you know, in Brazil, there is an epidemic of microcephaly—infants being born with tiny heads and many health problems associated with it. An astute doctor in Brazil first recognized the connection between microcephaly and the Zika virus. However, it is far from proven that the Zika virus is causing microcephaly. I do not think Zika is causing the epidemic of microcephaly in Brazil. The reason I do not think Zika is causing this epidemic is that Zika has been around for a long time—why has microcephaly suddenly become an epidemic in Brazil?

Let’s hope that the CDC doesn’t pour all its energy into making a vaccine against Zika until it is proven to be the cause of this epidemic.
