How First Lady’s Organic Garden Became a Junk Food Campaign

Mere months after President Obama came into office, first lady Michelle Obama launched an organic garden project at the White House, complete with a composting system and beehives. Many were opposed to the idea of an organic garden in the White House, and even more so to having a first lady focused on organic food and organic gardening as a source of health.

In 2012, a number of media articles suddenly cropped up, in which they referred to organics as an “elitist lifestyle choice.”

It was also quite clear that the White House organic garden upset some significant donors, not because it was there, but because the first lady was implying that organic foods are healthier.

350 Doctors and Scientists Appeal to Bring Back Skeptic ‘Shaken Baby’ Doctor

Earlier this year Health Impact News reported how the British General Medical Council (GMC) erased Dr. Waney Squier’s name from the medical register, effectively removing her license to practice medicine and ending her medical career.

Known as the UK’s leading scientist in the field of pediatric neuropathology and having worked as a consultant at the John Radcliffe Hospital for 32 years, Dr. Squier’s crime was that she found the medical diagnosis of “Shaken Baby Syndrome” (SBS) to be “rubbish” and without scientific merit.

The diagnosis of SBS has been used in many courts to convict innocent parents of abusing their children by shaking them, and many of these convictions are now being overturned in the United States.

According to the BBC, over 350 doctors, scientists and lawyers questioning the decision to remove Dr. Squier’s medical license have written a letter of support to the British Medical Journal. Dr. Squier’s appeal to be put back on the register and be allowed to practice medicine again started this week.

Is There Objective Science to Justify HPV Vaccine Programs?

Lucija Tomljenovic, PhD, earlier this year delivered a lecture at the 4th International Symposium on Vaccines, in Leipzig, Germany. The title of her session was: Is There Objective Evidence That the Current HPV Vaccination Programs are not Justified?

Dr. Tomljenovic asks: what is the evidence, if any, that the HPV vaccine prevents cervical cancer and, therefore, can offer long-term benefits? What the clinical trials for HPV have shown is that they can prevent some portion of lesions caused by HPV-16 and -18 viruses. Arkansas Senator Writes to DHS "The Gloves are About to Come Off" as Cover-up in Stanley Case is Discovered

Local mainstream media in Arkansas is reporting that Arkansas Senator Alan Clark has obtained an email from Arkansas Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) regarding the Stanley Family case that was originally withheld from the legislative oversight committee he co-chairs. Clark calls the email the “smoking gun” in the departments attempt to conceal information during the investigation of the removal of the seven Stanley children last year.

In the email, a social worker writes:

“From reports, the search warrant did not find anything that would constitute the children being severely maltreated. It appears to me that the only thing this family has done is not conform to modern society and how certain government officials feel they should be living.”

Senator Clark issued a public statement on his Facebook Page where he stated:

“The gloves are about to come off and EVERYONE that has stood in the way of getting to the truth and is currently impeding progress on this front can expect to be exposed.”

Fighting Vaccine Censorship: Why We Need to Ask Questions About Vaccines

Pharma companies and the media are not kind to those who publicly question the use of vaccines and the practices of their manufactures. FDA To Redefine “Healthy” Once Again

As usual, the agency is using outdated science and is heavily influenced by industry. Action Alert!

Following the recent update to the Nutrition Facts label and the approval of the 2015 Dietary Guidelines for Americans, the FDA is proposing to update the definition of “healthy” and in federal regulations. The idea is to harmonize the regulatory definition of “healthy” (as well as related terms) with the “latest nutrition science,” presumably contained in the newly approved guidelines.

The FDA has no business defining what “healthy” is, given its lack of scientific expertise (noted in a congressional audit) and especially its extensive crony ties to industry.

CPS Kidnapped Michigan Twins Return Home - In Worse Shape Than When the State Took Them

In a dramatic turn of events, Michigan twins Abbie and Alexis Odonnell have been returned home to their family.

In July, the family court told the teens’ family that they were considering sending them to a facility in Boystown, Nebraska, and their family feared for their safety. (See story here.) All contact had been cut off between the twins and their mother Laura Odonnell, and there was a difficult 6 week period when Laura had no word about the twins at all. The situation looked hopeless.

But now the girls are home.

However, nothing prepared Laura for the condition that her twins were in when they were returned to her.

Florida Man That has Served more than 20 Years in Prison for Shaken Baby Syndrome Appeals for New Trial

More than two decades into a 70-year sentence, Jim Duncan maintains his innocence.
The central Florida man is serving time for aggravated child abuse. He was convicted of the crime after he and his wife brought their infant son Kody to the emergency room when they noticed he was in pain and not using the left side of his body. The doctor found 13 broken bones and a skull fracture in his X-rays, but no bruises. He called the police.

“I am innocent,” Duncan told CNN’s Jean Casarez. “I did not harm my son.”

Duncan is hoping a new lawyer, and new medical science, will end his nightmare and bring him home. His lawyer is taking his case to the 2nd District Court of Appeals in Florida next week, and he is hoping for a new trial.

Illinois radiologist Dr. David Ayoub said he believes Kody had infantile rickets, a disease of early life in which bones do not mineralize properly. Ayoub said he believes this led Koby to develop metabolic bone disease, causing Kody’s bones to be very fragile. With that diagnosis, Florida Defense Attorney Lisabeth Fryer is working to get Duncan’s conviction overturned.

October has been dubbed Breast Cancer Awareness month. The American Cancer Society (ACS) and the Susan G. Komen for the Cure are the two most visible fund raising groups for the multi-billion dollar cancer industry. The American Cancer Society teamed with the pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca in 1985 to create October as the breast cancer awareness month. AstraZeneca is a major chemotherapy drug manufacturer.

The pink ribbon and pinking commercial products gimmick comes from the Komen clan. A small percentage of sales with those “pinked” products goes to contributing toward cancer drug research. Komen’s major fund raising efforts include running for the cure, walking for the cure, and other fund raising activities where participants pay for their involvement.

The multi-billion dollar cancer industry has been growing for many years now, and it depends on more clients, and NOT finding a cure so new drugs can enter the market.

University of Michigan Law School Awarded $250K to Learn How to Defend Shaken Baby Syndrome Cases

The University of Michigan’s Innocence Clinic, part of the University’s law school, has just been awarded $250,000 to fight wrongful shaken baby syndrome convictions. The Associated Press is reporting that the grant came from the Department of Justice.

NPR Radio in Michigan reports that attorneys with the Innocence Clinic already helped exonerate one person in a shaken baby syndrome case. In 2010, Julie Baumer was retried and found not guilty of abusing her infant nephew.

In 2015, the Michigan Supreme Court unanimously overturned a murder conviction in a shaken baby syndrome case. The court found that Leo Ackley’s defense attorney did not properly challenge the conviction with evidence that contradicts the science of shaken baby syndrome, and that the prosecutor produced no witness that Ackley was abusive.

The Assistant Director of the Michigan Innocence Clinic, Imran Syed, stated:

“So these shaken baby syndrome cases really appear to be in that category of shifting science, where juries at trial were told things that seemed uncontroversial. But really there’s a lot of controversy involved.

And really the most important thing, at least from our perspective as lawyers, isn’t who’s right or wrong. It’s did both sides get aired out in trial? Because our [state] supreme court ruled last year that in an SBS case, both sides have the right to present their side of the debate, and let the jury decide who they believe is more credible: was it an accident, or was it intentional abuse?

And in the vast majority of these cases that we look at, there are no defense experts. The jury only hears one side of the case.”

Childhood Vaccine Schedule: Where is the Science?

Arkansas Father and Pastor Speaks Out on CPS Kidnapping His Children as All Charges are Dropped 21 Months Later

The haunting memory was so clear of the night before when a deputy sheriff had claimed the right to kidnap my children right in front of me. I knew that my yard was full of some 12 official vehicles including an ambulance, the Coroner’s car, state police, and various health officials.

I didn’t realize, however, that there was a 31 man task force surrounding my house with snipers lying in the ditch.

I did know that there was a nice man from the DHS sitting in my living room saying to me that everything was okay. I could hear him talking to his home office telling them that the kids were fine and all had been examined by the doctor in our yard, and that all were fine.

Then suddenly a large group of armed officers rushed in the door saying they were taking the children for seventy-two hours. We were to get the children two days of clothing and to do it fast.

We were overwhelmed to say the least. The children were crying, Michelle and me were crying. Our hearts were broken.

Our whole lives were invested in those children. How could anyone think they were in danger in our wonderful home? How could this be happening. A few minutes later my wife and I had sat in the living room, all alone and wondering what had happened.

Twenty one months later it is over legally.

Flawed HPV Vaccine Safety Statement Revealed in Leaked E-Mails

The letter states that the emails, obtained via a Freedom of Information request, clearly demonstrate members of the GAVCS, the CDC and the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare knew before the February 26, 2014 Tokyo public hearing that one of their own experts showed scientific evidence that HPV vaccination does increase cytokines, including tumor necrosis factor (TNF), particularly at the injection site compared to other vaccines.

EPA Review of Glyphosate: Can a Truly Independent Panel of Scientists be Found?

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recently released a draft report finding that glyphosate—the active ingredient in Monsanto’s popular Roundup weed killer—is not likely to cause cancer in humans.

This finding is preliminary, to be followed by the agency’s final review of glyphosate, which has been delayed until spring of 2017.

The EPA decided to address the potential cancer-causing effects of glyphosate after the United Nations’ International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) announced last year that the chemical was a “probable carcinogen.”

With the upcoming 30th anniversary of the signing into law by President Ronald Reagan (Nov 14, 1986) of the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act (NCVIA), I want to start the conversation about several areas of injustice of this Act.

12 Year Old Brianna's Life Completely Changed by HPV Vaccine

During the next 3 weeks she became increasingly unwell, experiencing fatigue, insomnia, constant nausea, increased body temperature, hot flushes, headaches and muscle and joint pain. She would attempt to go to school, but they would just send her home.

Her GP carried out several blood and urine tests, but all results were negative. We asked the GP could it be a reaction to the vaccine. Our GP contacted the manufacturers who confirmed that her symptoms were recognised reactions, but not generally after this length of time. However, our GP advised that she should not have the 2nd and 3rd doses of the vaccine in case.

Texas CPS Defies Judge's Order to Homeschool, Keeps Rembis Children in Public School

On Monday September 26th, we reported that Texas Judge Hart made a stunning Pro-Family order at the close of the Adversary hearing for the Rembis family on September 20th, allowing Claire Rembis to homeschool her 10 children, even while they are in temporary state custody in Lubbock, Texas.

On Monday September 26th, the Rembis’ met with CPS, who informed them they must start attending “Life Skills” classes beginning Saturday October 1st, and then allegedly made this shocking statement: “It’s not possible to homeschool while in foster care.”

Therefore, the children remain in public school, directly defying Judge Hart’s order from September 20th. Some of the children are being bullied in public school, and CPS is forcing the children to get medical procedures against their parents’ desires.

Claire cried: “This is terrible. Just so mean. CPS will not abide by the court orders. We learned yesterday that they are not going to allow us to continue homeschooling. They have pretty much laughed in judge Harts’ face.”

Carcinogen Chromium-6 in Tap Water of More Than 200 Million Americans

In the film “Erin Brockovich,” the environmental crusader confronts the lawyer of a power company that polluted the tap water of Hinkley, Calif., with a carcinogenic chemical called chromium-6. When the lawyer picks up a glass of water, Brockovich says: “We had that water brought in ‘specially for you folks. Came from a well in Hinkley.”

The lawyer sets down the glass and says, “I think this meeting’s over.”

But almost 25 years after that real-life confrontation, the conflict over chromium-6 is not over. A new EWG analysis of federal data from nationwide drinking water tests shows that the compound contaminates water supplies for more than 200 million Americans in all 50 states. Yet federal regulations are stalled by a chemical industry challenge that could mean no national regulation of a chemical state scientists in California and elsewhere say causes cancer when ingested at even extraordinarily low levels.

Acetaminophen (Tylenol) Harmful for Babies

A 2016 article in the New York Times warns that prenatal use of acetaminophen—the main ingredient in Tylenol—has been linked to an increased risk of asthma and attention disorders in children whose mothers took the drug.

Acetaminophen is found in over 600 over-the-counter and prescription medications. Petra Arck, professor of fetal-maternal medicine at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf, whose rodent experiments have found that acetaminophen stresses the liver and alters the placenta in pregnant mice, told the Times that because it’s so common pregnant women may be taking more acetaminophen than they are aware.

The damage done by acetaminophen seems to be dose dependent—the more a pregnant woman takes, the more serious the effects in her offspring. But since it’s found in so many products, many marketed for babies and children, what if infants, too, are being exposed to damagingly high levels of acetaminophen?

In 2014, an outbreak of whooping cough (pertussis) broke out in the San Diego area. Of the 621 individuals who were infected, nearly all of them were completely up to date on all preventive vaccinations. If vaccines are given to protect from disease, how could this happen?

San Diego public health official Dr. Wilma Wooten argued that the cause was related to a decrease in the protection offered by vaccines after the first year. This answer is most revealing, in that it speaks to the actual efficacy of vaccines. It also shows that the concept of herd immunity is largely myth—and completely misunderstood.

The theory of herd immunity states that when a critical mass of the population (usually stipulated at 95%) is vaccinated against a disease, the possibility of outbreaks is eliminated. This is the main argument that is used to shame parents who wish to refuse certain vaccinations for their children: by not vaccinating, they put the health of the “herd” at risk.

However, if vaccines start losing effectiveness after the first year, as Dr. Wooten says, then constant revaccination would be required, since the immunity offered is only temporary for most vaccines. Achieving the required rate of protection is virtually impossible under this paradigm.

Of course, if we look back over the decades and note the lack of rampant epidemics in our nation, while remembering that vaccine protection is in perpetual decline, the myth of herd immunity quickly unravels. Our society has never achieved this level of herd immunity, yet not a single major outbreak of disease has occurred.

Texas Judge Allows Mother to Homeschool Her Own Children - Denies Request to Vaccinate Children While in State Custody

Texas Pro-family Judge Hart has allowed Claire Rembis to homeschool her 10 children while they are still being held in state custody in Lubbock, Texas. The family is hopeful that their children will soon be home with them. Judge Hart, who seems intent on following the law, also denied the CPS request to give vaccines or cut the Rembis children’s hair while they temporarily remain in State custody.

No Evidence for Fluoridated Water to Result in Less Cavities

Two-thirds of Americans drink tap water that has added fluoride. Unlike other chemicals added to water, which are intended to treat the water itself, fluoride is intended to treat the people who drink the water, whether they want the treatment or not.

Study: Coconut Oil Helps Hypertension - Science Based Health Benefits of Coconut Oil Keep Increasing

A peer reviewed study published in 2016 was titled “Renoprotective effect of virgin coconut oil in heated palm oil diet-induced hypertensive rats.” The Malaysian researchers were aware of how reheated oils used over and over in deep fat fryers create hypertension (high blood pressure) and other markers for cardiovascular disease. But their focus this time was renal, or kidney health.

So they used five times heated palm oil (5HPO) to induce high blood pressure in rats bred for animal study research, Sprague-Dawley rats. The rats were divided into four groups fed slightly different diets, half with 5HPO and the other half with virgin coconut oil (VCO). Systolic blood pressure was measured before and after the 16 week study.

The rats fed VCO had significantly less oxidative stress markers in their kidneys than the 5HPO fed rats, leading the researchers to conclude “ … virgin coconut oil has a potential to reduce the development of hypertension and renal injury induced by dietary heated oil, possibly via its antioxidant protective effects on the kidneys.”

Monsanto/Bayer, Dow/DuPont, and Syngenta/ChemChina will sell 59% of the world’s seeds and 64% of the world pesticides.

Government Vaccine Court Records Show Injuries and Deaths from Flu Shot as 2016 Flu Season Begins

As government medical officials make plans to take away vaccine exemptions for children and seek to make vaccines mandatory in the United States, vital information about the safety of vaccines is either ignored or censored.

The American public is largely unaware that there is a vaccine court known as the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (NVICP). This program was started as a result of a law passed in 1986 that gave pharmaceutical companies total legal immunity from being sued due to injuries and deaths resulting from vaccines.

If you or a family member is injured or dies from vaccines, you must now sue the federal government in this special vaccine court. Many cases are litigated for years before a settlement is reached.

Once every 3 months the Advisory Commission on Childhood Vaccines meets, and the Department of Justice issues a report of cases settled for vaccine injuries and deaths. As far as I know, Health Impact News is the only media source that publishes these reports each quarter.

The most recent report was just issued on September 20, 2016 which covered the period from 5/16/16 to 8/15/16. 233 cases were adjudicated. 113 of them were listed in the report, specifying the vaccine, the injury or death, and the amount of time the case was pending before settlement.

89 of the 113 cases settled were for injuries and deaths due to the flu vaccine, making the flu vaccine the most dangerous vaccine in the U.S., harming and killing more people than all the other vaccines combined.

How many people in the United States, including doctors and nurses who give flu shots, are made aware of these statistics prior to receiving a flu shot, or allowing one to be given to their children and loved ones?

Her children were taken away from her after she had a positive drug screen after giving birth to her youngest son in July. Her friends are asking how this can happen, since the only drugs that she was taking were medications that were properly prescribed by doctors.

Since being in state care, her infant has bruises, and her older son is traumatized from the separation.

Health Impact News spoke with Lori after a recent visit with her children. She put into words what many parents have expressed about the grief of being separated from their children and the joy of spending time with them at visits, followed by the heartbreak of having to say goodbye at the end of the visits:

“It’s like being admitted through the pearly gates, and then someone opens a trap door and drops you into the pits of hell. It’s so unnatural and so wrong to hand your babies to a stranger and walk away from them.”

Vaccines Provide Herd Immunity?

Libertarian presidential candidate Gary Johnson recently reversed his opposition on mandatory childhood vaccination. When asked what caused him to make a U-turn and adopt what would seem to be an anti-libertarian position, he said,

“I’ve come to find out that without mandatory vaccines, the vaccines that would in fact be issued would not be effective.…It’s dependent [on having]mandatory vaccines so that every child is immune. Otherwise, not all children will be immune even though they receive a vaccine.”

This line of argument is one of the main pillars behind forcing parents not only to vaccinate their kids but to do so on the government’s schedule, which includes more and more vaccines given on the same day, plus a vaccination at birth aimed to prevent a sexually transmitted illness.

But is the herd immunity argument true? No.

Grassroots Efforts to Allow Medical Cannabis to Treat Autism

With the addition of Pennsylvania and Ohio in 2016, the total number of states in America allowing the use of cannabis medically is now 25. The non-state known as the District of Columbia or Washington, D.C., the nation’s capitol, also has allowances for medical cannabis.

They all have variations of what ailments or diseases are allowed for obtaining a medical marijuana permit. The states that are the most liberal include Colorado, Washington (state), and Oregon. They allow recreational use of marijuana, thus eliminating the need for approval from a bureaucratic medical marijuana approval system.

Some states have more restrictions than others. For example, in New Mexico, hepatitis C is a condition allowed for cannabis, but only if one is using an FDA approved medically prescribed anti-viral. In other words, only as an adjunct for interferon type drugs that have a history of nasty side effects.

This helps keep those who would rather avoid the medical system in it. Nearby Arizona allows cannabis for hepatitis C without the concurrent anti-viral treatment requirement.

But so far, only one state allows medical cannabis for those diagnosed with aggressive or destructive autism, Delaware.

Currently, a panel within the Minnesota Department of Health has met to discuss the possibility of including autism as a qualified condition for cannabis use. If you are a Minnesota resident and wish to register your supporting opinion or parental giver story with that panel, they are open to comments until September 20th.

GMO-Tested and Glyphosate-Tested Corn Products Unique in the U.S.?

Healthy Traditions announced earlier this year that they had added Mexican heirloom corn products to their line of GMO-tested and Glyphosate-tested products. They explained how truly GMO-free corn is almost non-existent in the U.S., as even corn that is USDA certified organic or verified to be GMO free is still contaminated with small amounts of GMO DNA, according to their own laboratory testing.

The corn products, which include corn flour, corn meal, grits, and whole kernel corn, are on sale this week. They are thought to be unique to the U.S. corn market.

Is the U.S. About to Abdicate Constitutional Rights and Liberty to Unelected Medical Officials?

The CDC published an 88 page set of proposed regulations on August 15, 2016, which would give them the power to apprehend, detain, and quarantine anyone they think might have a communicable disease and to force them to be vaccinated.

These proposed rules would dramatically expand their authority, even though they claim the proposed regulations are mostly about providing updated language to describe their existing powers. These new regulations would give the CDC, and those who must comply with these regulations, the right to invade our privacy whenever they wish. They would have the right to involuntarily apprehend and confine anyone they believe might have a communicable disease. They would have the right to force people to accept vaccinations even when individuals object.

With the new powers granted by the proposed regulations, it won’t be long until “public health” nurses armed with vaccine loaded syringes, and “Homeland Security” officers armed with guns and tasers, go door to door to force vaccinate the United States population for a list of preapproved communicable diseases.

American Academy of Pediatrics Wants a Police-state Approach to Vaccination

The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), hugely funded by vaccine makers, calls for a police-state approach to vaccination. Action Alerts!

Last month, the Academy, in a report titled “Countering Vaccine Hesitancy,” called for the elimination of all non-medical exemptions to vaccinations, including religious exemptions, on the model of California.

Released alongside this report was another report, also from the AAP, bemoaning the increase in vaccine refusals. The report also endorsed doctors’ “firing” patients who refuse to follow the government’s precise vaccination schedule, and found the number of physicians who have adopted such a policy to have nearly doubled between 2006 and 2013.

The Importance of CoQ10 for Heart Health and Much More

In an earlier Health Impact News article, it was pointed out how statin drugs cut back on the body’s ability to produce an important co-enzyme called CoQ10. One of CoQ10’s important health features, among others, is that it’s vital for good heart health.

Ironically, statin drugs prescribed for protecting cardiovascular health hamper this heart health co-enzyme production, and worse, it affects other areas of health. This could explain the other adverse side effects of statin drugs, such as fatigue, lowered immunity, and aching joints, muscles, and tendons.

Co-enzyme Q 10 (CoQ10) was identified from its function, not its structure. It actually involves a complex cycle that affects electron transfer in tissue cells, most importantly brain, heart, and liver organ tissues, and promotes intracellular energy production throughout the body.

Shoars Children Kidnapped from Nevada to Arizona Still not Returned

Their children’s screams still haunt Jeff and Tabitha Shoars’ dreams, and echoes of the laughter that once filled their home brings the couple to tears on a daily basis.

Kratom: Why is the FDA Banning this Herb that Helps Break Addiction to Opioid Drug Addicts?

Within weeks of denying an anticipated change in the DEA’s classification of cannabis as a schedule I controlled substance, the DEA has announced plans to post another harmless plant as schedule I by September 30th, 2016. The newly posted schedule I substance is kratom.

Schedule I is a category of drugs the DEA considers dangerous, subject to abuse, and addictive. The DEA has many drugs like that in other more permissive categories, but the clincher for cannabis and now kratom is that they supposedly “lack medical merit.”

And how does the DEA know whether or not a “controlled substance” has or doesn’t have medical merit? They rely on the FDA’s word, the same government agency that the pharmaceutical industry pays over $2 million for each drug’s license to market.

Throughout the nation, many have been using kratom leaf teas or powders and capsules to help them withdraw successfully from opioid painkillers and that other street drug opioid, heroin. Kratom has been used traditionally for opiate withdrawal primarily in Southeast Asia for centuries.

Outrageous and Unfounded Claims Used Against Texas Homeschool Family to Keep Children in Custody

A Texas homeschool family is still fighting CPS in Lubbock Texas for the return of 10 of their 11 children, who were taken away from the place where they were staying in Colorado and transported back to Texas.

Playing outside in old clothes with no shoes, having no deodorant, boys having hair that is too long, are all reasons CPS is using to keep these children away from their parents. The parents have a medical exemption for vaccines for their children, but CPS is allegedly threatening to vaccinate them all, as the parents desperately try to get their children back home.

California Dr. Bob Sears Faces Medical Board Discipline for Writing Medical Vaccine Exemption

The mainstream media is widely reporting that California medical doctor Bob Sears is facing discipline by the California state Medical Board after he wrote a medical exemption for vaccines on behalf of a 2-year old patient who experienced adverse reactions from earlier vaccines.

The Orange County Register reports:

“According to the board documents, the toddler was seen by Sears for the first time in April 2014. His medical record notes that his mother said after his 2-month shots his bowels and bladder “shut down” for 24 hours. After the baby’s 3-month shots, she said, he was limp for a day and didn’t act like himself for a week.”

Dr. Sears is a well-known pediatrician nationally, and he is not anti-vaccine. He administers vaccines in his practice, but allows for a more individualized approach to vaccines, such as staggering them, or when necessary due to the health of his patients, forgoing some vaccines. He is the author of a very popular book, “The Vaccine Book.”

Dr. Sears was also an outspoken critic of California’s mandatory vaccination bill SB277 that removed philosophical and religious exemptions to vaccines. Only medical exemptions are now allowed under this new bill. Dr. Sears favors “informed consent” and parental rights.

Since Dr. Sears is a medical doctor and can legally write medical exemptions for vaccines, why is the state Medical Board investigating him for writing a medical exemption?

According to a recent article published in the Hindustan Times, Indian doctors have once again questioned the safety and efficiency of new vaccinations that have recently been added to the national immunization schedule.

Study: High Cholesterol Does not Cause Heart Disease- Treating with Statins a "Waste of Time"

Cholesterol does not cause heart disease in the elderly and trying to reduce it with drugs like statins is a waste of time, an international group of experts has claimed.

A review of research involving nearly 70,000 people found there was no link between what has traditionally been considered “bad” cholesterol and the premature deaths of over 60-year-olds from cardiovascular disease.

Published in the BMJ Open journal, the new study found that 92 percent of people with a high cholesterol level lived longer.

The authors have called for a re-evaluation of the guidelines for the prevention of cardiovascular disease and atherosclerosis, a hardening and narrowing of the arteries, because “the benefits from statin treatment have been exaggerated”.
