As in previous reports, the June 15, 2014, report covering a 3-month period shows that the flu vaccine is the most dangerous vaccine in America. 78 cases awarded settlements for vaccine injuries, with 55 of the settlements being for the flu shot, including one death. Most of the settlements for injuries due to the flu shot were for Guillain-Barré Syndrome. Teenager Abducted from Mother by Big Pharma Speaks Out
Michelle Rider and her 16-year-old son, Isaiah Rider, traveled from Kansas City to Lurie Children’s Hospital after doctors in her hometown, Texas, and Boston were unable to effectively treat his neurofibromatosis — a painful condition that causes tumors to grow on his nerves. When Isaiah’s pain was reportedly not getting any better at Lurie’s, his mother attempted to have him transferred to another hospital. But doctors at Lurie’s Hospital reported to Cook County Court that Michelle was guilty of “medical child abuse”, as they disagreed with the course of treatment chosen by the mother. As a result, they seized custody of the child and put him into a foster home, allowing the mother to only be able to visit her son twice a week for one-hour supervised visits. Supreme Court in India to Rule on Merck Fraud Regarding HPV Vaccine Deaths
Around the world legal problems regarding the HPV vaccine continue to multiply for Merck, yet this news is mostly censored out of the mainstream media. With multiple lawsuits pending in France over injuries due to the Gardasil HPV vaccine, one former Merck doctor in France even came out and stated that Gardasil will become "the greatest medical scandal of all time." In contrast, here in the U.S. any mainstream journalist that dares to suggest there are problems with the Gardasil vaccine puts their career on the line. Just ask Katie Couric, who dared to interview the mother of a young woman who died from the Gardasil vaccine. She was forced to issue an apology and have the assistant Surgeon General appear on her show to assure everyone the vaccine was safe. What is not revealed in the mainstream media, however, is that the U.S. government holds patents on Gardasil and also earns royalties from the sale of the vaccine. In the meantime, countries around the world are taking action to stop the carnage resulting from the HPV vaccine. Perhaps the most high-profile case you will never read about in the U.S. mainstream media is an upcoming Supreme Court hearing in India with a ruling due next month (August 2014). Merck has been charged with fraud and causing the death of young girls in India with vaccine trials due to the development of the HPV vaccine, sponsored by the U.S. organization PATH, with funding from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Last year (2013), we published a report from Christina England on a 43-page document produced by the Indian Parliament accusing the U.S. group, PATH, of committing illegal and improper activities in support of commercial interests in the development of the HPV vaccine in India, which led to the deaths of several young Indian girls. A few weeks later, Anita Jain, the India Editor of the British Medical Journal, published her own comments on the ethical violations conducted in India in the development of Gardasil, and questioned the wisdom of rolling out the Gardasil vaccine to the entire country, citing safety and efficacy concerns. Now, the India Supreme Court will decide on the case. But will the U.S. mainstream media even cover this story? So far, they have not.
CDC Lists 131 Causes of Death For A Child but Omits Vaccines
There are 130 official ways for an infant to die. These official categories of death, sanctioned by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO), are published in the International Classification of Diseases (ICD). When a baby dies, coroners must choose from among these 130 categories. The official causes of death listed in the ICD include nearly every imaginable — and tragic — possibility. However, there is NO category for infant deaths caused by vaccines. This is odd because the federal government is aware that vaccines permanently disable and kill some babies — the very reason Congress established a "death and disability" tax on childhood vaccines more than 25 years ago when the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act of 1986 (Public Law 99-660) created the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP). When vaccine-related deaths are hidden within the death tables, parents are denied the ability to ascertain honest vaccine risk-to-benefit ratios, and true informed consent to vaccinations is not possible. When families are urged to vaccinate their children without access to accurate data on vaccine-related deaths, their human rights have been violated. Medical health authorities, pediatricians, and the vaccine industry then become criminal accomplices to each infant death caused by vaccines — even when vaccines are not officially acknowledged as the cause of death. Finding ways to increase vaccine safety, providing families with true informed consent, and preserving human rights must be the top priorities.
US Healthcare: Most Expensive and Worst Performing
Compared to 11 other nations studied in a new Commonwealth Fund report, the US ranks last in health care. American health care is the most expensive in the world, with 17.7 percent of gross domestic product (GDP) spent on health care (Australia, for comparison, spends only 8.9 percent). Per capita health expenditures in the US were more than $8,500 in 2011… more than double the $3,405 per capita spent in the UK, which ranked first in the report. The US ranks last overall on measures of healthy lives, with poor scores on mortality amenable to medical care, infant mortality, and healthy life expectancy at age 60. Despite its high cost, the report concluded “The claim that the United States has ‘the best health care system in the world’ is clearly not true”.
Local Health Department Lies to Parents: Refuses to Provide Vaccine Exemptions Required by Law
The medical system's attempt to remove all vaccine exemptions in states around the U.S. is troublesome enough, but there is growing evidence that where laws currently exist for vaccine exemptions, that the public is being denied their legal rights to apply those exemptions. Megan of LivingWhole.org reports how a parent in Missouri contacted her this week stating that a local health department had informed them that “the state wouldn’t allow them to pass out exemption cards anymore.” Not only was this illegal, it was an outright lie as Megan explains after contacting the Health Department at the State Capital. Every vaccine currently approved by the FDA and recommended in the childhood vaccine schedule has side effects and warnings listed in the package insert, and the Vaccine Injury Compensation Program has paid out billions of dollars in damages due to vaccine injuries since the program was started in the 1980s to grant pharmaceutical companies total legal immunity from damages due to vaccines. If doctors, health departments, and other medical officials were actually following the law, and following the advice printed on vaccine inserts in regards to monitoring those most at risk for vaccine injuries, the medical exemptions alone would be astronomical in this country. But that would be a huge financial drain to Big Pharma. So what is happening instead? The medical system is fighting for 100% vaccination rates for "the greater good," and sacrificing the lives of those who will have vaccine injuries or deaths due to adverse reactions by attempting to remove all vaccine exemptions, whether medical or religious. Every state currently offers vaccine exemptions. Know your rights, know the law, and don't be intimidated. May Megan's example below be a warning to everyone that you may need to take a stand and fight for your rights if you do not want to become another vaccine damaged statistic allowed for "the greater good."
HPV Vaccines: Time to Follow the Science and Reject the Vaccine
According to WHO, only 0.15% of people exposed to any high risk HPV types will ever develop cervical cancer. Medical consumers need to know that according to the World Health Organization 99.85% of those exposed to oncogenic types of HPV will never develop cervical cancer. Since at least September 2012, FDA officials knew infections with high-risk HPV types will not induce cancer without genetic mutations and/or other epigenetic (relating to or arising from nongenetic influences on gene expression) events occurring also. Did this cause the FDA or CDC to re-examine the usefulness of HPV vaccines? No. Today, countries around the world are putting a halt on government-recommended HPV vaccines and investigating numerous claims of HPV vaccine injuries that are destroying the lives of thousands of girls and young women. Since health officials at the FDA are apparently ignoring scientific facts, medical consumers need to be aware of the science, or lack therof, behind HPV vaccines.
The Whooping Cough Epidemic: A Failed Vaccine Causes a Public Health Crisis
The pertussis (whooping cough) vaccine is a failure, and has now become a public health crisis. Unfortunately, the pro-pharma mainstream media in the U.S. is not reporting this. Researchers at the University of Oxford recruited 279 children aged 5-15 who visited their doctor with a persistent cough lasting 2-8 weeks. In total, 20% of the children were confirmed as having whooping cough, including 18% of the children who had been fully vaccinated.

“Justina’s Law” Seeks to End Experimental Medical Research on Children Seized by Child Protection Services
Now that the tragic abduction of Justina Pelletier by Boston Children's Hospital has been resolved after a national outcry, a bipartisan group of Congressional representatives are introducing new legislation to prevent the kind of medical abuses that led to Justina's forced confinement for more than 16 months. Justina's situation is not unique, but representative of a larger problem with Child Protection Services and hospitals all across the U.S. that use the foster care system to legally abduct children for medical research. Justina's case received national media attention from talk show hosts such as Dr. Phil, Glenn Beck, Mike Huckabee and many others, due to her parents refusal to obey a court gag order on her case. Others in the past have attempted to expose this corrupt system, such as Congresswoman Nancy Schaefer from Georgia. Congresswoman Schaefer lost her Senate seat in Georgia as a result of her speaking out, but states it was something “worth losing” for standing up for the rights of parents who were having their children kidnapped by CPS. She and her husband were found murdered in their home in 2010.

Criminal Activities of Vaccine Producers Increase in 2014
It has been about four years now since the U.S. Supreme Court upheld a law passed by the U.S. Congress in 1986 preventing consumers from suing pharmaceutical companies for damages due to vaccines. Prior to 1986, it was not profitable for most pharmaceutical companies to manufacture vaccines due to sheer volume of lawsuits resulting from damages. So the pharmaceutical industry basically blackmailed Congress by stating they would stop manufacturing vaccines altogether unless they had legal immunity from vaccine-injured people suing them. Congress obliged, and the Supreme Court upheld the law after a couple of decades of challenges. Now, with free license to dump as many new vaccines into the market place as they choose, the amount and rates of vaccines in the U.S. have exploded. So too have the criminal activities of vaccine producers.
Newborn Blood Screening without Parental Consent Bill Proposed in Congress
The U.S. House of Representatives is voting on the Newborn Screening Saves Lives Reauthorization Act of 2014 (H.R.1281), which would extend for five years the funding program that allows states to collect and store newborn DNA without parental consent. The bill, sponsored by Rep. Lucille Roybal-Allard (D-CA-40) is purportedly meant to improve health for newborns and children by allowing for detection of potentially life- and health-threatening genetic conditions. But Citizens’ Council for Health Freedom (CCHF, www.cchfreedom.org), a Minnesota-based national organization dedicated to preserving patient-centered health care and protecting patient and privacy rights, says the legislation is a back-door effort to bypass parental rights, collect and store newborn DNA and expand government access to the genetic code of Americans. “In the name of public health, this legislation continues a program that strips parents of their right to have a say in who holds their child’s genetic code, strips children of their privacy and property rights, and institutionalizes national data-sharing among federal and state governments,” said CCHF co-founder and president Twila Brase. “It’s one thing for newborn blood samples to be tested for a specific set of newborn genetic conditions; it’s entirely another for the government to grant itself the right to store that data and those DNA samples indefinitely, to use them for genetic research without parental knowledge or consent, and to place virtual tracking devices on every child by following their health history into adolescence. Yet, these are exactly what this bill does.”

Outspoken Vaccine Advocate States Measles Vaccine Can’t Prevent Measles Outbreaks
Longtime MMR vaccine advocate Dr. Gregory Poland now says the measles-containing MMR shot often fails to protect against measles and that recently reported measles outbreaks in highly vaccinated societies occurs primarily among those previously vaccinated. The MMR vaccine is unlikely to eradicate measles globally because even after two doses, nearly 10 percent of children do not have vaccine strain measles antibodies. Most Americans born before 1957 experienced measles and have naturally acquired immunity, which allowed women to pass antibodies on to their babies to protect them from measles during the first year of life. Things have definitely changed in the past 60 years. Because vaccine antibodies are different from naturally acquired measles antibodies, young vaccinated moms today cannot give longer lasting naturally acquired measles antibodies to their newborns. Vaccines simply do not confer the same kind of long lasting immunity that is obtained from experiencing and recovering from the natural disease. The MMR vaccine is not without risk, and doctors seldom warn of these risks. A documented serious side effect of vaccination, including smallpox, rabies, pertussis and MMR vaccine, is encephalitis (inflammation of the brain), which can lead to permanent brain damage. In 2012, the Italian Health Ministry conceded that the MMR vaccine caused autism in a now 11-year-old boy. The judge ruled the boy had "been damaged by irreversible complications due to vaccination (prophylaxis trivalent MMR)." Serious, permanent, and sometimes fatal reactions can and do occur, with more frequency than you might think.
Justina Pelletier Released – Speaks out from Home
Beau Berman of FoxCT, the reporter who first broke the story of Justina Pelletier being held in a psychiatric ward at Boston Children's hospital against her will and the will of her family, sat down and interviewed Justina today in her own home (click link to watch). For the first time, the world is hearing Justina’s take on the custody battle that all began because of differing opinions about her medical condition. But now, she’s at home in her parents’ custody without any strings attached and she’s literally “home free”. Judge Joseph Johnston, the same judge who took Justina's custody away from her parents in February 2013, released her this week after much scrutiny and criticism from national media sources. The Massachusetts DCF was used by Boston Children’s Hospital to seize custody of Justina when she was 15 years old, due to a disagreement over treatment. Justina was being treated for mitochondrial disease, but new doctors were reportedly assigned to her case when she was admitted to Boston Children’s Hospital (BCH) and they said her diagnosis from Tufts Medical Center in Connecticut was incorrect, and that she was instead suffering from a psychiatric disorder. The parents disagreed and wanted to take her back to her original medical team, but the hospital took custody and locked her up in the psychiatric ward instead. Prior to Justina being admitted to BCH, she was leading a normal life and had even competed in an ice skating event. But under the care of Boston Children's hospital, separated from her family, her situation deteriorated quickly. Today, she is paralyzed from the waist down and will need significant rehabilitation.
Nurse’s Aide Awarded $11.6 Million for Being Paralyzed by Mandatory Flu Vaccine
We have frequently reported here at Health Impact News the stories of brave nurses standing up for their rights to refuse mandatory flu vaccinations as a condition for employment. There are current cases pending in litigation over this violation of civil rights and recently a New Jersey appeals court ruled in favor of a nurse who was denied employment based on her refusal of the annual flu vaccination. We have also reported here at Health Impact News that based on settled cases in the special vaccine court, the flu vaccine is the most dangerous vaccine in the United States based on settled cases. Most of the awards paid out for damages due to the flu vaccine are for cases of Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS). Much like the symptoms of polio, GBS sufferers can become totally paralyzed. Medical authorities know that this is a side effect of the flu vaccine, but the official claim is that it is only one out of one million. A quick list of settled claims each quarter will show that it is obviously much higher than this, however. The Morning Call of Lehigh Valley Pennsylvania is now reporting that one nurse's aide has been awarded $11.6 million for being paralyzed with GBS after receiving a flu shot. This is newsworthy, because pharmaceutical companies cannot be sued in civil court for damages due to vaccines. Congress gave them total immunity to such lawsuits in 1986 and that law was upheld by the pro-Pharma Supreme Court in 2011. Sales of vaccines include a tax that is paid to fund a special court where government attorneys fight for the U.S. government to prevent paying out damages due to vaccine. It is a long and difficult process, so settled cases represent only a tiny fraction of the amount of vaccine damaged people in our society.

Under President Obama, the number of contracts awarded for drugs for federal inmates skyrocketed to 7,767 in 2008. By 2012, The Department of Justice awarded 41,658 contracts to drug federal prisoners totaling $332.5 million. It’s projected that the Affordable Care Act and its resulting Medicaid expansions will put millions more prisoners on psychotropic drugs.
UK Doctors Speak out on Dangers of Increase in Cholesterol-lowering Statin Drug Use
Millions of people over the age of 50 risk harming their health if they follow new NHS guidance telling them to take statins, leading doctors have warned the Health Secretary. Proposals to advise 12 million people to take the drugs could have “worrying” consequences because the plans were borne out of an “overdependence” on studies funded by the pharmaceutical industry, they say. The group cites research, independent of the drug industry, showing that statins have been associated with a 48 per cent increase in the risk of diabetes in middle-aged women. Other potential side effects could include depression, fatigue and erectile dysfunction, they warn.
