5 Idaho Children Medically Kidnapped based on Doctor’s Opinion of Shaken Baby Syndrome
An Idaho couple has been blindsided by an accusation of Shaken Baby Syndrome. Michael and Chelsea Wolken had a date night and left their 5 month old baby in the care of a trusted babysitter. They knew something wasn't right when they got baby Rylee home that night, but they never dreamed that her symptoms would be diagnosed days later as Shaken Baby Syndrome. The Wolkens have more questions than answers about what happened to make their baby so sick, but one thing they say they are certain of - they didn't shake their baby. A Child Abuse Specialist pediatrician told police and Child Protection Services that the baby's condition had to be caused by abuse, based on his interpretation of x-rays, despite the fact that there were no external signs of trauma, such as a neck injury, bruising, or history of violence in the parents. Since the doctor has made this diagnosis, CPS has taken custody of Rylee and removed Chelsea's other 4 children from the home. And doctors have stopped looking for any other explanation. A very sick baby is now living with strangers in foster care.
Chicago Boy Medically Kidnapped for 20 Months Back Home – Family Strives to Overcome Trauma
It has been two years since "Baby Malik" was returned to his family. It has been a long journey of helping him to overcome the harm from being taken by Child Protective Services and Lurie Children's Hospital in Chicago, but his grandmother Lakisha Tanna says that they can finally "function like a normal family again." Malik just started K-5 kindergarten. He is doing well now, but that didn't happen overnight. He was out of his family's custody for 1 year, 8 months, and a day. All that time in the custody of the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) had a lasting impact on him, and it wasn't good. He came home with a great deal of insecurity, afraid to let Lakisha out of his sight. There were times that Lakisha was afraid that he would never come home, and times that she feared for Malik's very life. She thanks God that he is safe now. The public attention brought to their story by Health Impact News made a big difference, she believes. As long as DCFS and Lurie Children's Hospital were able to operate in secrecy, there was no accountability and they were able to do whatever they wanted with Malik, including perform multiple experimental surgeries on him without his family's consent. To this day, Malik's story remains one of the most horrific stories we have ever covered of medical abuse under Child Protective Services custody. Study: Flu Shot Associated with Spontaneous Abortion in Pregnant Women
The annual flu vaccine is the most dangerous vaccine in the market today, a fact that is not in dispute. The most recent report from the Department of Justice submitted at this year's Advisory Commission on Childhood Vaccines (ACCV) meeting revealed that the U.S. Government had settled 275 lawsuits for flu vaccine injuries and deaths, while all other vaccine injury and death settlements were 57 combined. A new study published this month and actually making news in the corporate-sponsored "mainstream" media reveals a clear association between the flu vaccine given to pregnant women every year and spontaneous abortion. The study was funded by the CDC with American tax payer funds, so the results had to be published somewhere. Private studies exposing anything negative about vaccines are routinely censored in the U.S. In spite of the dangers revealed in this study and a call for further research, there was no change to the CDC recommendation that all pregnant women be vaccinated with the flu shot every year in terms of public policy.
Law Professor Attacks Homeschoolers – Believes State Should Choose Parents for Babies
A law professor at the oldest law school in the nation believes that there is no inherent right to parent one's own children. In an interview for CRTV about homeschooling, Professor James G. Dwyer told syndicated columnist Michelle Malkin that: "The reason that parent-child relationship exists is because the state confers legal parenthood on people through its paternity and maternity laws." An investigation into Dwyer's writings and history reveals that this alarming statement was not an exaggerated statement taken out of context or misrepresented by a conservative journalist. Instead, the statement appears to be a foundational core belief held by a man who formerly worked in New York state family courts as a Law Guardian, which is the equivalent of a Guardian ad Litem. Dwyer's writings now influences policy within the family court system. Dwyer argues: "Courts should recognize that newborn babies, much more clearly than birth parents, have fundamental interests at stake in the state's selection of legal parents and, therefore, a much stronger claim to constitutional protection."

Government Issues First Report in 2017 on Vaccine Injuries and Deaths: 275 Injured 4 Dead from Flu Shot
The federal government Advisory Commission on Childhood Vaccines (ACCV) under the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services just concluded their first meeting of 2017 on September 8th. The Commission is supposed to meet quarterly, but missed their first two meetings this year (2017). Health Impact News sources have told us that the probable reason the Commission missed their March and June 2017 meetings was likely due to a lack of a quorum, as several member's terms had expired, and new members of the Commission possibly had not yet been appointed under the Trump administration. These quarterly meetings include a report from the Department of Justice (DOJ) on cases settled for vaccine injuries and deaths as mandated by the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (NVICP). The NVICP was started as a result of a law passed in 1986 that gave pharmaceutical companies total legal immunity from being sued due to injuries and deaths resulting from vaccines. Drug manufacturers in the vaccine market can now create as many new vaccines as they desire, with no risk of being sued if their product causes injury or death. This has resulted in a huge increase of vaccines entering the market, and the U.S. government, through the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), is the largest purchaser of these vaccines, spending in excess of $4 billion taxpayer dollars each year to purchase these vaccines. If you or a family member is injured or dies from vaccines, you must sue the federal government in this special vaccine court. Many cases are litigated for years before a settlement is reached. As far as we know, Health Impact News is the only media source that publishes these reports each quarter. 332 cases were listed in the current report, specifying the vaccine, the injury or death, and the amount of time the case was pending before settlement. 275 of the 332 cases were for injuries due to the flu vaccine, and there were 5 deaths, 4 of them related to the flu vaccine. The flu vaccine is clearly the most dangerous vaccine in the U.S., and yet it is sold in stores and can be routinely obtained as easily as over-the-counter medicines with no consultation with a physician.
Study: MMR Vaccine Linked to Type 1 Diabetes
Autoimmunity against glutamate decarboxylase (GAD) has been associated with type 1 diabetes. GAD65 (65kDa) and GAD67 (67kDa, to a lesser extent) are involved in type 1 diabetes. Following an anecdotal report of type 1 diabetes diagnosis a few weeks after measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccine administration, MMR vaccine contents were examined. Major proteins in the vaccine apart from the measles, mumps and rubella live viruses were chicken embryo cell culture proteins. GAD65 and GAD67 are expressed during chicken embryogenesis. Results: GAD65 protein comparison between human and chicken reveals 95% sequence homology. The results provide strong evidence that chicken embryo cell culture proteins in the MMR vaccine can cause the development of antibodies against chicken GAD65 which cross-react with human GAD65 protein to cause type 1 diabetes.

Forced Vaccination Judged Unconstitutional in Colombia
The Constitutional Court in Colombia recently ruled that mandating the human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine is unconstitutional. However, the precedent-setting judicial decision went beyond HPV vaccine mandates and affirmed the ethical principle of informed consent to medical risk taking. According to the Court, which is the highest judicial body tasked with interpreting that country’s Constitution, the state cannot make decisions regarding the bodily integrity of its citizens because to do so would violate human dignity. The Court stressed that decisions involving medical procedures should ultimately be made by patients themselves, not the government. It cautioned Colombia’s Ministry of Health that it “must obtain the informed consent [of patients] prior to administering the vaccine” to them.
Disabled Man in Tennessee Loses Daughter – Finds Out She was Adopted to Strangers via Facebook

Oxford Scientists Gave African Babies Trial TB Vaccine That Did Not Work on Monkeys
Oxford University is embroiled in an ethics row after scientists were accused of questionable conduct over a controversial trial of a new vaccine on African babies. Professor Peter Beverley, a former senior academic at the university, complained that scientists planned to test a new tuberculosis vaccine on more than a thousand infants without sharing data suggesting that monkeys given the immunisation had appeared to “die rapidly”.
Pharmaceutical Antibiotic Drugs: Life Saver or Life Destroyer?
The CDC currently attributes vaccines and antibiotics as the two major milestones of modern medicine. Many of us have taken a more critical attitude towards vaccines, but the reputation of antibiotics is still mostly untarnished. Oregon Pays $7 Million After Preschoolers Starved by Foster Parents
Oregon's child welfare agency has agreed to pay $7 million to settle a lawsuit filed on behalf of two children who were nearly starved to death by foster parents the state approved for them. The Yamhill County foster parents who for years withheld food from the two preschoolers and subjected them to other abuse, John and Danielle Yates, are each serving 2 ½ years in prison. According to the lawsuit, caseworkers and their supervisors ignored complaints and obvious problems during the 2 1/2 years the children lived with the couple. A state review of the case found that a caseworker saw the emaciated children less than a month before doctors at Randall Children's Hospital determined they suffered from chronic starvation. But the caseworker did nothing. At Randall, the lawsuit says, doctors found the children resembled victims of a famine: their ribs visible, their bellies protruding and their brain development severely affected.
Gardasil Killed my 16 Year Old Daughter: She Died the Most Excruciating Painful Death
The VAXXED team was recently in Australia where they interviewed Patrice Larkin, the mother of Gabby Larkin who died at the age of 16. Like so many of the Gardasil stories we have reported about, Gabby was very athletic and active prior to receiving the Gardasil vaccine. After the Gardasil shot, she developed a headache that would not go away. Three weeks later she developed pains on her right side. Later it would be discovered that she had a tumor in her right ovary from a very rare form of cancer. Patrice explains that it was a very fast growing tumor (3-4 weeks), and only 14 other people in the world had ever been diagnosed with this type of cancer. The tumor burst and they removed her right ovary. She began chemo therapy almost immediately. A short time later she died.

Woman Sues After Spending Decade in Prison for False Shaken Baby Syndrome Conviction
Nearly a year after a judge overturned the murder conviction of a former suburban day care worker accused of killing a newborn in her care, the woman is suing investigators for allegedly withholding evidence and fabricating scientific findings, according to court documents. Jennifer Del Prete, 46, spent nearly a decade in prison after she was found guilty of first-degree murder in the 2003 death of 14-month-old Isabella Zielinski. Authorities accused Del Prete of shaking the 4-month-old at the day care where Del Prete served as a caretaker. The baby died about 10 months later. During her trial, a state medical expert testified that Isabella's injuries could have been inflicted only on the day she became unresponsive, ignoring evidence that the baby had suffered an unexplained brain injury days earlier. A Freedom of Information request filed by journalism students at Northwestern University's Medill Justice Project uncovered a memo written by the lead Romeoville detective who worried that the pathologist who conducted the autopsy did not agree with the shaken baby syndrome theory.
Texas Congressman Gives Wrong Information on Tetanus Infection to Hurricane Harvey Flood Victims
The calls by some for vaccination against tetanus in hurricane affected areas of Texas are based on the assumption that coming into contact with flood waters increases the risk of tetanus bacteria infection. But that belief is an “old wives’ tale” says Michael Osterholm, PhD, MPH, who directs the University of Minnesota’s Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy. A “myth,” said Osterholm. The CDC clearly states on its website: “Exposure to flood waters does not increase the risk of tetanus, and tetanus immunization campaigns are not needed.” The CDC also states that the “minimal interval after a previous dose of any tetanus-containing vaccine” is five years and the “recommended interval” is 10 years. There are serious side effects associated with tetanus containing vaccines. These include “redness, swelling and pain at the injection site; headache; fatigue, sore and swollen joints; muscle weakness; fever; chills; nausea; shock; neuropathy; convulsions; encephalopathy; paralysis; Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS); death.”
Nursing Student Dismissed for Refusal to Lie about Vaccines Appeals Decision to Limit Damages
In April of 2015, we reported here at Health Impact News that nursing student Nichole Rolfe, formerly Nichole Bruff, was dismissed from her nursing program shortly before graduation after she allegedly refused to commit fraud by lying to patients in order to coerce vaccine compliance, as directed by her instructors. Nichole fought back with a lawsuit against Baker College. Baker College requested the case be dismissed, but Judge Joseph Farah denied the motion, and Nichole’s case went forward. Nichole has contacted Health Impact News with an update on her case, and explained that Judge Farrah accepted Baker College's motion to cap damages at only $15,500.00. While this is at face value an admission of guilt for the way she was treated as a nursing student, it only covers Nichole's actual fees for nursing school, and not her lost earnings for the past four years, as well as her costs to begin nursing school all over again.
