A year ago this month (January 2018) attorney Michael Dolce wrote an opinion piece published in Newsweek titled: WE HAVE SET UP A SYSTEM TO SEX TRAFFIC AMERICAN CHILDREN.

Attorney Dolce speaks from experience from representing children abused in foster care. He wrote:

Here’s the ugly truth: most Americans who are victims of sex trafficking come from our nation’s own foster care system. It’s a deeply broken system that leaves thousands vulnerable to pimps as children and grooms them for the illegal sex trade as young adults.

We have failed our children by not fixing the systemic failures that have allowed this to happen for decades.

A year later, has anything changed?

If you monitor news reports about abuses in foster care, apparently not. Even local corporate-sponsored “mainstream” news organizations are now reporting on many of the abuses happening in foster care.

Some recent examples a year later (January 2019):

Former foster parent charged with raping six girls

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A man is facing charges for allegedly sexually abusing girls in foster care.

Back in August, KRQE News 13 reported on claims that Clarence Garcia’s foster daughters, some as young as 6, came forward through the years to report him, but nothing was done.

The girls were placed with Garcia by Familyworks, a nonprofit licensed through the Children, Youth, and Families Department.

Familyworks license was later revoked.

Garcia was indicted earlier this month. He was charged with raping six girls.

Foster parent charged with 100 counts of child pornography possession: ‘I just like to look’

PLEASANT GROVE, Utah (Fox13) — Police arrested a Utah man Thursday after searching his home and finding over 100 pictures and videos of child pornography on his cellphone.

Police also charged 57-year-old John Kimble with 20 counts of voyeurism after he admitted to filming three of his foster children without their knowledge or permission, according to charging documents. He is also charged with three counts of child sexual abuse and 20 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor for manufacturing child pornography. (Full Story.)

Public Waking Up

While children continue to be kidnapped from their families by the State and placed into a foster care system that routinely abuses them and trafficks them, one thing has changed in the last year: the public is beginning to wake up and realize that this is a real problem, not some over-blown conspiracy theory.

Last year, one of our most-read stories was the story about David Frodsham, an Arizona foster parent for over 12 years who was arrested and convicted for operating a pornographic pedophile ring based out of his state-approved foster home.

He ran his foster home out of the military town of Sierra Vista, Arizona, the home of Fort Huachuca, and was a former commander with the Department of Defense in Afghanistan who was discharged from duty due to “sexual harassment” behavior and an assessment by the military that he had an unalterable personality disorder.

In 2018 we also published some of the proceedings and testimonies from The International Tribunal for Natural Justice (ITNJ), as leaders from around the world convened over a 3-day period in Westminster, London to launch their Judicial Commission of Inquiry into Human Trafficking and Child Sex Abuse.

The corporate-sponsored “mainstream” media did not report on any of the testimonies from this court, as it exposed, perhaps for the first time in public, the true horror and scope of the child sex trafficking problem. See:

When Will the U.S. Foster Care System be Defunded?

Georgia Senator Nancy Schaefer

The late Georgia Senator Nancy Schaefer was an outspoken critic of the Child Protective Services system in the U.S. before her death, and she believed that it was beyond repair. See:

Others have said similar things, such as Molly McGrath Tierney, the former Director for the Baltimore City Department of Social Services, who has said that the whole premise of foster care is wrong:

It’s not the government’s doing it badly; it’s that foster care is a bad idea.

Child welfare is an industry, and industries are self-protecting ecosystems.

Think about it. The only time the federal government pays me is when I take somebody’s kid. And as soon as that kid’s in foster care, they instantly become a commodity, and the industry starts to wrap around – doctors, lawyers, judges, social workers, advocates, whole organizations.

The industry is committed to this intervention, this taking other people’s children, ‘cause that’s what it needs to survive. And it’s on auto pilot, and it’s going to do whatever it has to do to stay alive.

And this industry, to stay alive, needs other people’s children.

Large-scale studies have been done comparing children in foster care with children left in troubled homes, even with parents who have issues like drug-abuse, and the results are clear: children left in troubled homes do far better, on average, than children put into the foster care system.

So we have identified the problem, but so far no one seems willing to implement the only solution possible: abolish federal government-funded child welfare. The system is broken and beyond repair.
