Railroaders Say Morale, Quality-Of-Life At All-Time Low as Nation Faces Potential Logistics Nightmare
The headlines in the corporate news media will report today and in the next couple of days that Congress has intervened to prevent a railroad union strike, but that is only half the story. Strike or no strike, the nation is in trouble as nearly 40% of the freight in the U.S. is moved by rail, and forcing railroad workers to work when they are sick and unhappy is not a problem that Congress can fix. In the article below that we are republishing, it will be reported that railroad workers are not happy, with morale at an all-time low. And while they will give some reasons for this, there is one reason that is not allowed to be discussed in the corporate media, and that is the fact that just like any other industry where COVID-19 vaccines were mandated as a requirement for employment, which included the railroads, there is a reduction of labor due to deaths, and an increase of people working with disabilities. While the exodus from the railroad industry may not be as dramatic as the 334,000 people who have already left the medical system, I am sure that it will be problematic nonetheless, as overworked and sick railroad employees either quit or move on to other jobs. This is undoubtedly happening all across the U.S. right now in many industries where the COVID vaccines were mandated, even though you will not read about it in the corporate news.
