Lee Zeldin, a former Jewish Congressman from New York and former candidate for the Governor of New York against Kathy Hochul, has been appointed by Trump to head up the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Lee Zeldin has received millions of dollars from pro-Israel lobby groups, and endorses the genocide against Palestinians and the bombing of Iran. He has almost ZERO experience in environmental issues. However, as Whitney Webb wrote this week, the Trump administration is being heavily influenced by figures tied to carbon markets and efforts to implement dubious climate finance schemes.
