I want to thank everyone who has been praying for me and all the kind words of encouragement sent my way. I apologize for not being able to respond back to everyone during these very traumatic times for me.

Elder Abuse Case in Springville, CA, Involving Threats of Eviction, Financial Exploitation, Grand Theft and Intimidation, Becomes A More Complex, In-Depth Story, With A Forthcoming Court Hearing

Before entering into the details as to the current status of the unquestionable circumstances of varied forms of elder abuse currently occurring in Springville, California, with Elder Citizen, Mr. Brian Shilhavy, owner of Healthy Traditions and the Publisher of HealthImpactNews.com and MedicalKidnap.com, being the victim thereof, I feel it is important to give a brief background as to why I, as a well-known parent victim of the International Child Protective Service System, have chosen, as a journalist and as an advocate, to take part in exposing the truth of this Case and what role I am now playing in the entirety of it.
As many people who know the Case of my family, with my sons and myself having lost their Mommy, i.e. my wife and best friend, under highly-questionable circumstances a few years after our sons were unlawfully seized, and, as of this date, with my having absolutely no current knowledge as to the location or status of my two American sons, Cory and Skyler, for more than 2 years now, nor the location of my nephew, Austin, who was the special needs, minor victim of the child pornography video that my late wife and I turned in to the Gilbert Police in 2017, I take matters of abuse against children, elders and vulnerable persons very seriously.
Our family, after my late-wife’s and my turning it into the local Authorities in Arizona, where our sons were born and raised, immediately became victims of massive retaliation by the perpetrators of the crimes against Austin and attempted to seek refuge in Geneva, Switzerland, in June of 2017, only to have our two sons unlawfully seized less than 3 weeks after our arrival, with countless third-party testimonies of nearly 9 years of physical, sexual, emotional, psychological and spiritual abuse against both my sons.
I was also an Independent Candidate for Vice-President during the last Presidential Elections on November 4, 2025, having been featured on This Week In Texas (ABC), ByoBlu (Italy’s largest independent TV Channel), before being banned and blacklisted and having had all of mine and my running mate’s future-scheduled, American MSM interviews summarily cancelled after we published the base of our Campaign as being Community and Family Empowerment (CAFE, as we called it), with a comprehensive plan putting the Traditional American Family before all other political programs and well before any and all foreign policy.
Further, as a Mandated Reporter with the Arizona Department of Public Safety, currently holding a Level 1 IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card, issued for the second time duration of 6 years, in January of 2025, with my Clearance having never been investigated, nor suspended at any point since I received my first Clearance card in 2014 (click here to review ARS – Arizona Revised Statutes as to the strict qualifications one must be subject to and the fact that my criminal background check for this Clearance Level, the highest Clearance Level provided by the Arizona Department of Public Safety, was conducted by the FBI), the situation of the vengeful attack against Mr. Shilhavy is one which not only touches me personally, but also one which I am both morally and legally obligated to report on.
It is also a Case for which I have become the Petitioner in the upcoming Court Hearing in April of this year, to assure that Mr. Shilhavy’s legal rights are fully protected and that anyone who has violated any laws against him, hence causing him even further emotional distress and physical illness due to this situation, let alone the actual fact of the violent attempt of displacing him from his long-time rental home in Springville, a home in which he personally invested over $300,000 of his own money to make it a self-sustaining, environmentally-sound property, as the current world-war-filled climate has, as no one can deny, an unknown conclusion date and is one which all Americans, as well as millions of residents of countless countries in the Middle East, Europe, South America, etc., are suffering the economic, personal and life consequences thereof.
The main point of this first article, one in a series on the Shilhavy Case, which is published here on the online News Site, Elder Abuse Media, will allow all readers (and listeners – as this article contains a phone conversation in which I was personally threatened by one of the perpetrators of the abuse against Mr. Shilhavy), is to allow any and all readers of Elder Abuse Media and any other media outlets who choose to syndicate this article for their own investigative articles into this matter, to understand, read, hear and see the undeniable facts, as horrific and unbelievable as they may seem at a first glance, and to explain to our readers where this situation currently stands, where it is headed and the steps that have been taken to date, not only as steps to protect the safety of Mr. Shilhavy, but also, and very importantly, to put to rest any concerns the customers of Healthy Traditions may have, as well as to clarify, for those people who know Mr. Shilhavy and the individuals involved in the opposing side of this conflict, while Elder Abuse Media is not offering a specific opinion on the entirety of this matter, rather allowing you, the readers, to hear and read for yourselves the undeniable, recorded and written conversations and messages that have occurred over just the last two weeks and to make your own determinations.
I wish to also clarify, I am in no manner being financially compensated for writing this article, nor will I be financially compensated for the subsequent articles and that Elder Abuse Media is a self-funded Media Outlet that does not have advertisers or financial supporters of any kind.
I am writing articles related to this matter, as well as regarding other Cases of Elder Abuse, both in California and Nationwide, since it is my duty, not only as a journalist, but as a Mandated Reporter with the Arizona Department of Public Safety, and, as noted above and in the many stories on social media and in the Main Stream Media regarding my own family – a father, his wife and their two sons who were completely destroyed by legally-proven defamation, false testimony, collusion, death threats, back-door deals and payoffs, as well as political deals and favors to protect persons in positions as high up as Washington, D.C.
Before reading any further, and before listening to the .mp3 of the phone call which is included below, let alone reading the Comment that was made regarding the Health Impact News’ article of March 6, 2026, both of which are both shocking and appalling, both which were, unquestionably, made, respectively, by the two perpetrators in the Case against Mr. Shilhavy, and are clearly demonstrative of both unlawful actions and non-Christian values which the perpetrators falsely claim to have at the root of their being in their public personas and their business ethics.

Once you read that Press Release, which contains no bias, but simply the facts as they are undeniably documented, the rest of this article will both make more sense to you and will help you understand the seriousness of this matter, as well as clear up any and all misconceptions or rumors currently circulating regarding the current status and business viability of Healthy Traditions and of Health Impact News and Mr. Shilhavy’s other corporate divisions.

When beginning to write this article, as is the duty and obligation of any journalist, I was intent to reach out to the two Primary Parties involved on the opposing side of Mr. Shilhavy’s situation so that I could get their position on this matter. I chose to call Mr. Daniel Garcia first, assuming he would either hang up on me, respond to my brief, courteous questions or perhaps even ignore the call.
Not knowing Mr. Garcia, but having heard that he is a Christ-following father and ethical businessman, what you hear in this conversation, taking primarily into consideration the fact that Mr. Garcia and I (nor Mr. Travis Wales, Sr. and I) have never met in person, nor ever spoken on the phone, nor communicated by email, nor by any other means, will appear as shocking to you as it was to me, especially for those of you who may personally know or do business with either Mr. Garcia or Mr. Wales, Sr.
The entirety of the phone call between myself and Mr. Daniel Garcia, as well as the screenshots of my phone log, clearly shows that he attempted, after our initial phone call which originated from me, to call me back from numerous different numbers, with two of the calls originating from, “anonymous” number(s).
All of these calls occurred in rapid succession after our initial call. I responded to him, eventually, hoping that he was prepared to give a statement of my article, yet finding myself in a situation where he took on a very sarcastic, non-fact-based position, indicating to me that he wanted to get my email, allegedly to give to his lawyer, that same, second, brief phone call in which I did not give him my email, not as a means of evasion, but for the simple fact that my multiple email addresses, for anyone who does a simple email search, are easily accessible to anyone in the public via Google, as well as my direct contact information and multiple methods of anyone, lawyer or private individuals, are unquestionably fully transparent and available via ElderAbuseMedia.com, and on the Press Release to which Mr. Garcia referred in our initial phone call and all over social media.
Facts speak for themselves. Attempted manipulation and putting words in someone else’s mouth speak for themselves, as well, and tend to show the true character of the person or persons involved.
You can listen to the entirety of my phone call with Mr. Garcia, legally recorded by me from a one-party side geographical location. This recording has in no manner been edited, and contains the entirety of the call, from the moment I dialed, until Mr. Garcia literally hung up on me at the end of the call. The image on this video is a screenshot, directly from my cellphone, of my phone calls on that date, indicating my initial, outgoing phone call to Mr. Garcia on the bottom of the image and then, going upwards in the image, Mr. Garcia’s subsequent attempts to call me back from multiple of this other phone numbers. After the manner in which Mr. Garcia treated me in my phone call to him, I chose not to attempt to make the planned call to Mr. Travis Wales, Sr.
Following the publication of the article written by Mr. Shilhavy on Health Impact News on March 6, 2026, I read numerous comments, primarily extremely positive, yet one which was clearly rather shocking in both the one of the Comment words themselves and, considering, that among the many individuals associated with Healthy Traditions since its inception more than 20 years ago, and clearly taking into consideration the augmentation and visibility of this story regarding on the ongoing conflict, although the Comment was not signed with a specific name and although the reader who commented used a VPN as a means of disguising their geographical location, I, as a reader of the article, a reader of the Comment, a journalist who read the entirety of the article on Health Impact News, unquestionably determine that this vulgar, personal-detailed-filled and violent comment, which in most States is considered a death threat, when one reads the entirety therein, was written either by Mr. Travis Wales, Sr., on his behalf and or at his direction.
This particular Comment is included in the numerous Exhibits contained within the Criminal Complaint for Elder or Dependent Adult Abuse that has been filed and is currently under review by the California Attorney General, Rob Bonta’s, Division of Medi-Cal Fraud and Elder Abuse.
Objectively speaking, when one considers the public personas of Mr. Daniel Garcia and Mr. Travis Wales, Sr., both known to proclaim their Christian values, pro family values, pro home-schooling stance, etc., the irony of the spoken words by Mr. Garcia in my phone call with him, as well as the extreme vulgarity and violent nature contained within Mr. Wales, Sr.’s Comment on the article published by Health Impact News, shows two completely different sides to their apparent Christ-like, peaceful personas that they may be known by to their friends, family members, clients and business associates.
While I at first thought this entire situation was rather tame in its nature, that is, the perspective and methods being used by Mr. Garcia and Mr. Wales, Sr., and that they were, having worked with Mr. Shilhavy for many years, as well as having been close friends and having made an enormous amount of money, both directly and via their contracting work for Healthy Traditions, following my phone call with Mr. Garcia, his obsessive attempts to call me back from various numbers, ones which I verified as either being his numbers or his real estate office, I have decided, under legal authority from Mr. Shilhavy, to take on a more active role in this matter, just as I have done since 2014 with many other Cases which relate to any and all allegations and evidence regarding abuse, threats, violence, exploitation and or attempts to displace elder citizens, children and dependent persons.
In addition to the Original Criminal Complaint already filed with Attorney General Rob Bonta’s Office, in addition a Request for Elder or Dependent Adult Abuse Retraining Order, has been filed with the Superior Court of Tulare County, for which there is a Court Hearing Set for early April.
The Superior Court of Tulare County has accepted the legal submissions filed with their Court and are currently in the process of having the Sheriff’s Civil Division serve all related and mandatory documentation thereto, as well as to serve the Notice of Hearing to Mr. Daniel Garcia and Mr. Travis Wales, Sr., at their communal living property, which is located the same address. The Service Attempts have been proceeding for more than 1 week now.
I was notified by phone recently, directly from the Sheriff’s Civil Division, that upon the Deputy’s first attempt to serve Mr. Garcia and Mr. Wales, Sr., that their property gate was closed and that the Deputy had left a card for them to call the Sheriff’s Office or the Deputy himself. A few days later, a second attempt was made to serve both Parties and I received a direct phone call from the Sheriff’s Civil Division just soonafter, indicating that Mr. Garcia had been successfully served by the Deputy, but that Mr. Travis Wales, Sr., was not able to be served.
I was then informed, in that same phone call, that a second business card of the Deputy was left for Mr. Travis Wales, Sr. at the time Mr. Garcia was successfully served.
As of the date of publication of this article, Sunday, March 29, 2026, there has been no notification that Mr. Travis Wales, Sr., who is now unquestionably aware that there is a Court Hearing coming up very soon, since Mr. Garcia has been successfully served and they live on the same property and work together, has made no attempts to adhere to the law by contacting the Sheriff’s Civil Division, nor the Service Deputy himself, not even after two attempts to serve him.
In my belief, having extensive legal knowledge, and I base such statements only upon fact, two attempts of Legal Process Service on both Respondents, with the one being successful upon Mr. Garcia, could, at this juncture, constitute evasion of service on the part Mr. Travis Wales, Sr.
This potential evasion by Mr. Wales, Sr. may be, based on case precedence of countless cases of various kinds of evasion of service, an attempt by Mr. Wales, Sr. to have no knowledge of the forthcoming Court Hearing, nor any knowledge of the Case at all, or may be a form of unlawful methodology on Mr. Wales, Sr.’s part to request a Hearing Extension.
Since I began to get more involved in this matter, I have been in nearly daily contact with numerous division of the Sheriff’s Office of Tulare County, the District Attorney’s Office and the Office of Attorney General Rob Bonta, as well as numerous other State and Federal Authorities regarding this situation.
If one thinks that my actions in this matter appear by any means exaggerative, please take a pause and look objectively at the undeniable facts of this matter, not the least of which is that there are, as noted in the Criminal, Elder Abuse Complaint filed with Attorney General Rob Bonta’s Office, as well as within the paperwork regarding the upcoming Hearing in the Superior Court of Tulare County, not only irrefutable, factual notations of multiple AR15’s and a large amount of other weapons and ammunition located on the communal property upon which Mr. Wales, Sr., Mr. Garcia, numerous other adults and at least 8 minor children all reside, but more so at this point, the documented, hot temperament of both Mr. Garcia and Mr. Wales, Sr., in a situation where they risk to lose not only a Civil Matter, but also risk to be under profound criminal investigation, is not different than many situations that we are all aware of regarding rapid augmentation of volatility, violence, threats, etc., but, also situations which we are all aware of, whether small and local, or even as serious as WACO, as the old expression goes, “When you corner a dog, their instinct is to fight aggressively and often without control of their impulses, no matter the result.”
Local California stories of Elder Abuse, such as in the links below, show that even in, “Little Tulare County, California,” Elder Abuse can and does happen, much more often than we might like to believe, and that not all cases of Elder Abuse, despite the horror of this recent story below (two separate media reports), which occurred in an elder care facility, are not confined to elder care facilities, but also occur with regard to elder persons, ones such as Mr. Shilhavy, a successful businessman, journalist, religious studies scholar and linguist who has full mental and physical capacity, and, like many such elder persons, who live on their own.
Furthermore, with so much to lose and so much at risk by Mr. Garcia and Mr. Wales Sr., at this juncture, based upon the heat escalating regarding their highly-armed, large, communal living property in Springville, with certain members of such properties now being under investigation and caught in civil litigation, could potentially, as the past of America has proven, often and rapidly turned into incredibly dangerous, volatile and shockingly real explosions, for lack of a better phrase, not only in the local and National media coverage, but also in the manners in which the persons being subject to such litigation or investigation choose to react due to what they might have to hide, on a deeply personal level, that is, behind a potentially contradictory life by which they are known in their personal and professional lives.
With that being said, Mr. Garcia and Mr. Wales are not, “being cornered,” like dogs during this entire process of the Complaint filed with the Attorney General and the upcoming Civil Hearing. They are simply being subject to the law, to due process.
Mr. Shilhavy, in defense of his own rights, as both a US Citizen, especially an elder citizen, has every legal right to defend himself using the proper, Official, Local and State Protective and Judicial Authorities so that the truth of this entire matter will come out and the justice upon those who have committed any violations of the law can be handed down by the appropriate, law-adhering Judicial and Investigative Authorities.
Elder Abuse Media is maintaining regular contact with all related Authorities in this matter and will be updating our readers on this ongoing story on a regular basis, as things either escalate or, hopefully, if the Respondent Parties choose to make the right decision, not only for them and their loved ones, but for their many children, by admitting their wrongdoing and coming, “to the table,” as the expression goes, where all Parties involved can take part in what will hopefully be a true, win-win situation, even if some of the Parties are not happy about the outcome.
At this point, however, considering the upcoming Civil Hearing on the Restraining Order the extensive evidence contained therein, as well as the comprehensive Criminal Complaint currently before Attorney General Rob Bonta, in addition to the current attempt to forcibly evict Mr. Shilhavy from his home, the entirety of this matter does not seem one that will have its final conclusion any time soon, unless, of course, rapid Judicial decisions are made to protect Mr. Shilhavy’s legal rights by the appropriate local and State Authorities.
