A contractor whistleblower for the European Central Bank contacted Greg Reese after he aired the video excerpt from the recent FDIC meeting where they discussed “bail ins,” alleging that he had been assigned an “urgent project” related to preparing for bail ins for the European Central Bank (ECB).

“Bail ins,” as opposed to “bail outs,” are when the banks take money out of accounts on deposit within that bank when a bank does not have enough funds to meet its obligations.

According to this report by Greg Reese and the information from his informant, the playbook for bank bail ins has already been written for Europe, and they are preparing for bank runs.

What bankers and so-called “officials” fail to realize is that potential “bail-ins” may well result in extremely serious consequences.  The first Revolutionary War in America was not fought over a petty tax on tea and other such nonsense.  It was initiated as American colonists were denied control of their money “currency”, as The Bank of England and the British crown forced their way its issuance. The Civil War had a similar basis when individual breakaway states sought to issue their own currency to bypass the Union’s control.  History is a great teacher if people will only learn its lessons.

Now, the prospect of bail-ins and a future CBDC may well result in similar responses from the American people.  Life is tough enough today for the average working person to provide for him/herself and their family.  Deprive them of their morally acquired earnings, or enact a control grid to deny them access to their checking, savings, investment and other accounts, someone is asking for big trouble,   In my view, these events could bring about a backlash that would make the above two examples in history pale by comparison.  

Unlike Europe, most Americans will not tolerate oppression to this degree, and it could well doom the Union itself.  One man said, if this comes to pass; we will have to ask yourselves, is this a legitimate government acting lawfully under our Constitution?  The answer of course is a resounding No!

Great points Alex! And I agree that Americans would not tolerate this and the backlash would be great, but I think they will do it in stages, if they do it at all, to inoculate people. They will be things like limiting withdrawals to a certain amount or time frame, etc. 

Most banks already have some of these control mechanisms in place, such as deposit of checks that have to wait for a certain amount of time to “clear” when in reality the bank is just using your money before they let you withdraw it.

They want to avoid bank runs so the system doesn’t collapse, and there are not a lot of options for them to do that.

In regard to bank bail-ins, here in Australia a friend tried to withdraw $50k in cash from her bank.
The teller refused and, after protracted haggling, fessed up that once someone “…pays to… ” the Bank, as the deposit slips here in Australia say, their money, those monies “paid in” legally becomes the property of the Bank.
And, as the teller told my friend: “We don’t even have to give it to you!”.
That is fraud, as the status of your money, once “deposited”, is never fully disclosed, meaning you have been defrauded.
My understanding of deposits, from articles I read years ago about American banks, was that  American banks could not lend depositors’ money out because those monies were put there on a safekeeping basis, and nothing else.
If people, in any country (the Banks are all owned by the same entities-JP Morgan, etc., etc.,) knew what the status of their money was post-depositing, no-one in their right mind would go anywhere near a Bank.
