The LORD spoke to me with his strong hand upon me, warning me not to follow the way of this people.
He said: “Do not call conspiracy everything that these people call conspiracy; do not fear what they fear, and do not dread it. The LORD Almighty is the one you are to regard as holy, he is the one you are to fear, he is the one you are to dread.”
(Isaiah 8:11-13)
The Bible has a lot to say about “fear.” In short, fearing the wrong things or wrong people can lead to your death, while appropriate fear will lead to life.
The passages above taken from the Old Testament book of Isaiah strictly warned the people not to fear the threat from the nation of Assyria for invading and capturing Jerusalem and Judah. In the previous chapter, Isaiah said:
Aram, Ephraim and Remaliah’s son have plotted your ruin, saying, “Let us invade Judah; let us tear it apart and divide it among ourselves, and make the son of Tabeel king over it.”
Yet this is what the Sovereign LORD says: “It will not take place, it will not happen…. If you do not stand firm in your faith, you will not stand at all.” (Isaiah 7:5-9)
But most of the people did not fear God enough to place their trust in him. The leaders considered seeking alliances with other nations to face the threat of war from the north.
And seeking wisdom for what to do, many apparently turned to “mediums” and “necromancers” to consult with the dead, instead of seeking wisdom from God.
And when they say to you, “Inquire of the mediums and the necromancers who chirp and mutter,” should not a people inquire of their God? Should they inquire of the dead on behalf of the living? (Isaiah 8:19)
And history shows that Isaiah and God were correct. While the northern kingdom of Israel did eventually fall to the Assyrian empire, the southern kingdom of Judah and its main city Jerusalem, did not. They were spared because God protected them. It would be hundreds of years later when they finally did fall, but to the Babylonians, not the Assyrians.
The times and circumstances have changed here in the 21st Century, but are we not seeing the same principles?
The masses do not (at least not at this time) fear an invasion from a hostile enemy nation, but they are fearing a “virus,” and this fear, which is misplaced, is causing many today to die, because they are putting their trust in the medical system and their sorceries, pharmakeia, which are drugs and vaccines.
As a result, many are dying, and many more will die who put their trust in the corrupt medical system, instead of trusting God and fearing him.
While Israel was God’s chosen “nation” in Old Testament times, because he established a “covenant” with them which resulted in God giving them The Law to live by, summarized by the Ten Commandments, we are now living under the “New Covenant,” and there is no longer a favored nation that is defined by geography or ethnicity.
The Zionist factions would like everyone to believe otherwise, but the New Testament (Covenant) writings centered around the Messiah Jesus Christ, are quite clear.
Therefore remember that at one time you Gentiles in the flesh, called “the uncircumcision” by what is called the circumcision, which is made in the flesh by hands— remember that you were at that time separated from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world.
But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
For he himself is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken down in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility by abolishing the law of commandments expressed in ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man in place of the two, so making peace, and might reconcile us both to God in one body through the cross, thereby killing the hostility.
And he came and preached peace to you who were far off and peace to those who were near. For through him we both have access in one Spirit to the Father.
So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. In him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit. (Ephesians 2:11-22)
In many places of the New Testament writings where the English word “nation” is used, it is not referring to a geographical location or a group of people defined by their ethnicity.
It is referring to the people of God, regardless of geopolitical locations, religion, or ethnicity.
But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
Once you were not a people, but now you are God’s people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy. (1 Peter 2:9-10)
The world population today under the New Covenant is only divided into two groups: those living in the Kingdom of Light (truth), and those living in the Kingdom of Darkness (deceit/lies.)
Jesus is the ruler of the Kingdom of Light, and Satan is the ruler of the Kingdom of Darkness.
All other groups of the population, such as ethnicity, religion, geopolitical “nations,” gender, economic status, etc., are used by Satan to divide us, so that we miss the bigger picture of the Kingdom of Darkness and the Kingdom of Light.
Our identity and sense of self worth should never be based on these other groups, but only upon our position before God, and whether or not we are walking in darkness, or light.
We are all born naturally, through the flesh, into the Kingdom of Darkness, due to the sins of the human race. (See Romans 5:12)
We come into the Kingdom of Light through spiritual rebirth, as we are “redeemed” (purchased back, like slaves) by the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ who satisfied God’s anger and judgment for the sins of the human race. See:
Re-Creation: The Rebirth
So just as Isaiah prophesied thousands of years ago that we are to fear God only, so too today the people of God living in the Kingdom of Light are not to fear those in the Kingdom of Darkness.
But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. “Do not fear what they fear; do not be frightened.” (1 Peter 3:14)
As we have documented on Health Impact News, most churches today, and those who claim to know God, are encouraging people to sign up and get the experimental COVID injections. They obviously fear “the virus” more than they fear God, and some of them have already died because of their faith in vaccines and drugs. See:

This is no time to waiver in your faith, if you are a true believer in Christ and walking in the Kingdom of Light. Misplaced fear today is deadly, as the distinction between those who walk in darkness and those who walk in the light will become more and more obvious with each passing day.
“So do not be afraid of them. There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known.
What I tell you in the dark, speak in the daylight; what is whispered in your ear, proclaim from the roofs.
Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.” (Matthew 10:26-28)
King Solomon was reported to be the wisest man to ever live on the earth, and he wrote:
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.
For through me your days will be many, and years will be added to your life.
If you are wise, your wisdom will reward you; if you are a mocker, you alone will suffer. (Proverbs 9:10-12)
“Fearing” God does not just mean being “afraid” of him (although it includes that!). It means giving him respect, and treating him as holy.
But once we grow in God’s love for us, made possible through the shed blood of Jesus as the perfect sacrifice for our sins that cleanses our consciences, then the “afraid” part of fear begins to disappear, because we become secure in his limitless love as we grow into it, to the point where we actually start relying on it, expecting him to do the things he has promised.
And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him.
In this way, love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment, because in this world we are like him.
There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
We love because he first loved us. (1 John 4:16-19)
May those of us who walk in the light seek to be made perfect in God’s love, which will chase away all fear, and hopefully draw others to come into the light and see the truth.
