Earlier this week we posted the first in a series of short documentaries from around the country. Along with our weekly videos, we will be posting some extra footage, blog entries and recipes on The Huffington Post. Monday’s video followed our journey from Minnesota through Iowa and to the dairy farm of Francis Thicke. With limited time in the first video, I felt that I didn’t even start to capture all that Francis Thicke has to offer. Afterall, he has multiple degrees, worked for the USDA and ran for Iowa secretary of Agriculture. In this interview he delves a little more into what makes pasture-raised dairy so important.
