In this interview, Dr. Makary relates how unaccountable the current heathcare system is, and that most people walk into a hospital blindly putting their lives into the hands of people they do not know, and many of them are incompetent and should not even be practicing in their profession. He correctly states that we have more resources online about restaurant reviews than we do hospital reviews. Dr. Makary states that we could fill a jumbo jet every day with dead patients who die from medical mistakes in the U.S. healthcare system, and people are numb to these facts!
