As we have previously reported at Health Impact News, in spite of the fact that the U.S. spends more on "healthcare" than any other nation in the world, our infant mortality rates are among the highest, especially when compared to developed, wealthier nations. The most recent study was published in January of 2018 in the journal Health Affairs and compared the mortality rate of children in 19 wealthy, Western countries, where the U.S. came in last. It is also well-known that American babies receive more doses of vaccines than any other nation. And yet, government health agencies refuse to even consider if vaccines are part of the problem. Within the U.S., the state with the highest infant mortality rate, Mississippi, also (coincidentally??) has the highest vaccination rates in the U.S. Neil Miller, a medical research journalist and the Director of the Thinktwice Global Vaccine Institute, wrote in 2014 that while there are 130 official ways for an infant to die according to official categories of death, sanctioned by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) as published in the International Classification of Diseases (ICD), vaccines are not one of them: "There are 130 official ways for an infant to die. When a baby dies, coroners must choose from among these 130 categories. The official causes of death include nearly every imaginable — and tragic — possibility. However, there is NO category for infant deaths caused by vaccines." According to the CDC, Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) remains one of the leading causes of death among infants in the U.S., claiming 3,700 deaths in 2015. Dr. Viera Scheibner is one of the few scientists and researchers who has investigated SIDS and a possible link to vaccines, and she presents her research here on Health Impact News.
The day I was kicked out of my doctor’s office for not vaccinating my daughter, I had no idea what my rights were. I know now. And I want to make sure you know yours as well. When her six month appointment came around, I began to get really nervous. I had just joined a natural parenting group and had begun to hear a couple of stories about vaccine injury. One of the group members shared an article online about a mother, who regretted not doing her research on vaccines prior to vaccinating her daughter, and she went on to develop autism as a result. I read it from start to finish just before I left for my baby’s appointment, and I knew that I just couldn’t go through with the vaccines. I remember calling my husband nervously, though, not knowing what to do. I was so scared of making the wrong choice. The doctor checked our daughter and although she had been completely healthy in every way and was exceeding all of her milestones, he commented that he was concerned about the size of her head. He showed me a chart with the normal measurements and noted that she was significantly off the bell curve. He feared that she could have hydrocephalus and wanted to do an MRI to rule out any complications. I told him that I would need to discuss it further with my husband since general anesthesia was needed for the procedure. He agreed and then reminded me that today was her six month visit, and he needed to catch her up on her vaccines. I expressed my concerns to him, especially now with her head size being an issue, and told him that I just wasn’t ready to move forward with them just yet. I needed more time to make an educated decision and to make sure all was okay with her head. It was then that he snapped. According to him, my time was up, and I needed to do them NOW. He told me that he had warned me at my previous visit and that I no longer could postpone them if I wanted to continue bringing my daughter to him. I remember shaking uncontrollably, and almost said yes ... But I just couldn’t do it. He kicked me out at that point and told me to go to the waiting room for the final paperwork. When I asked him about the concerns with the size of her head, he said that he would no longer take care of her as a patient until I decided to catch her up on ALL of her vaccines. He then slammed the door and left me to dress my baby, alone in the cold room.
Just as the incidence of Autism-Spectrum Disorders (ASDs) has risen alarmingly in children over the last half century, there is evidence that similar behavioral disorders have been observed in pets, most widely reported among pet dogs. From paralysis to seizures, and from immune-mediated hemolytic anemia to injection-site fibrosarcomas, adverse reactions to vaccination are not uncommon in pets. Often attributable to annual vaccinations that some veterinarians consider totally unnecessary, vaccine reactions also may lead to allergies, skin problems, behavioral changes, and autoimmune diseases. Some of the most common behavioral changes are associated with the rabies vaccine, which is the only vaccine federally mandated for pets and must be re-administered at least every three years if not annually, depending on how the vaccine is labeled.
Over the years, more and more parents have been questioning the safety and efficacy of the vast number of vaccinations being routinely recommended for children. Despite their genuine concerns, many parents feel baffled as to why there is so little information available. Here, at Vaccine Impact, we try to offer parents a wide range of information, including professional papers and studies, to help educate them on their vaccination journey. As well as providing factual information, we offer parents the opportunity to read about the experiences of others, whose children have suffered adverse reactions, which is something that is shied away from by doctors, pediatricians and governments in general. However, wouldn’t it be great, if there was a free immunization journal, offering parents a wide range of factual information, on topics such as vaccination ingredients, the safety of vaccinations during illness, vaccinations and pregnancy, and a wide range of other important facts? Well, now there is. Due to the growing number of vaccinations being introduced, the Children’s Medical Safety Research Institute (CMSRI), have decided that parents have a right to know exactly what their children are going to be vaccinated with and why governments believe that these vaccinations are necessary to maintain our children’s health. To ensure your child is safe, Vaccine Impact believes that all parents need to educate before they vaccinate and remember an informed choice is the best choice.
