Christian Leaders Push “Mental Health” and Trusting Medical Doctors Rather than Trusting the Jesus of the Bible to Deal with Life’s Problems

As we have reported for years, the field of psychiatry in modern medicine is the most corrupt profession within medicine, where one out of every five psychiatrists is arrested on criminal charges, where four out of every ten women are being raped in psychiatric wards, and where children are routinely abused sexually by their doctors. The entire field of psychology is based on FRAUD, as psych drugs have been shown to be no more effective in "curing mental disease" than placebos, proving that it is one's faith in the drug that makes them feel better. In 2012, Dr. Irving Kirsch, associate director of the Placebo Studies Program at Harvard Medical School, was interviewed on 60 minutes, where he explained that his research showed that antidepressant drugs were no better than placebos. Last year (2023), we published a study that concluded that the “brain imbalance” theory used to prescribe psych drugs, was totally false. And yet these corrupt psychiatrists have a very high standing in Corporate Christianity, with Pastors and other Christian leaders referring the members of their churches to these criminals to seek help for "mental health", as doctors are seen as the answer to all health problems. One of the largest "churches" in the world that guides millions of Christians to seek out psychiatrists to help them raise their families, is Focus on the Family, which was founded by a psychiatrist, Dr. James Dobson. Their daily radio broadcast is reportedly heard on more than 5,000 stations in more than 150 languages, with an estimated global audience of more than 200 million people. This week, they published a 2-part broadcast on "mental health", where once again, rather than discussing what the Bible teaches on "mental health", they turned to a psychiatrist instead. I have studied some of these psychiatrists who are featured regularly on Focus on the Family, and they all have a very similar approach to dealing with "mental health" for children, and it seldom, if ever, refers to Jesus Christ and the Bible. As you can see above in the description to Dr. Gregory Jantz who was on the Focus on the Family broadcast today and yesterday, "growing spiritually in your faith community" is listed right along with taking prescribed medications. Notice the emphasis on "faith community" rather than just one's personal faith. Several years ago Hillary Clinton was demonized by Christians for saying that she believed it "takes a village" to raise a child, as Christians claimed that this belief promoted Government socialism. But when "Christian" doctors state that it takes a "faith community" to raise a child, how is that any different? As I have shown many times, the U.S. Government and the American Church are essentially one and the same, as one cannot survive without the other.

Six Year Olds Ripped from Schools, Involuntarily Committed and Forcibly Drugged

A 6-year-old girl was removed from a Florida school for being disruptive and committed to a behavioral health center for a psychiatric evaluation without her parent’s knowledge.  She was held for two days and allegedly injected with an antipsychotic. Citizens Commission on Human Rights International, a 50-year mental health industry watchdog, warns that the U.S. education system and parental rights are being usurped with psychiatric and psychological practices. Schools, they assert, are used as feeder lines into a mental health system, which profits from this.  CCHR was responding to an incident where a licensed counselor with the school determined that Nadia, aged 6, was a candidate for involuntary detention under Florida’s Baker Act. The special needs child reportedly threw some chairs in a tantrum. But according to the Atlanta Black Star, a police body camera video, the girl behaved calmly as she was escorted from school by police. At one point, she asked officers if she was going to jail and was assured, no. The officer seemed skeptical of the school’s reason for calling 911. “She’s been actually very pleasant,” she noted. “I think it’s more of them not wanting to deal with it,” said another officer. Martina Falk, Nadia’s mother, was alerted only after her daughter was committed and said the nearly two-day mandatory stay at the psychiatric facility did more harm than good.

The Chemical Imbalance Myth and Antidepressant Harm

According to professor Peter C. Gøtzsche, a Danish physician-researcher and outspoken critic of the drug industry (author of the book, "Deadly Medicines and Organized Crime: How Big Pharma Has Corrupted Healthcare,") there is no known mental health issue that is caused by an imbalance of brain chemicals. In the U.S., an estimated 17.3 million American adults (7.1% of the adult population), experienced at least one major depressive episode in 2017. The highest rates are reported among those aged between 18 and 25. However, not only is there evidence that depression is vastly overdiagnosed, but there's also evidence showing it's routinely mistreated.

A Warning that Cannot be Ignored: Psychiatric Drugs Create Violence

The spate of recent mass shootings has prompted the mental health watchdog, Citizens Commission on Human Rights International (CCHR) to reiterate the urgent need for State and a Federal government investigation into the irrefutable link between psychotropic drugs and violence. The group is making its report, “Psychiatric Drugs Create Violence and Suicide,” available to legislators which cites 16 studies that show psychotropic drugs create homicidal and suicidal reactions. CCHR has documented at least 78 acts of senseless violence committed over several decades by those taking or withdrawing from psychiatric drugs, leaving a wake of 464 deaths and 926 wounded. The report cites 27 drug regulatory agency warnings that indicate psychotropic drug adverse effects that include mania, psychosis, hostility, aggression or homicidal ideation and nearly 50 warn of self-harm or suicide/suicidal ideation.

Lithium Orotate: Nutrient for Brains that Fights Alzheimer’s, Dementia, and Parkinson’s

Whenever someone mentions or especially recommends lithium, people tend to get nervous. They think it’s only for manic-depressive or bipolar types with the normal expectations of pharmaceutical side effects. But more recently, holistic doctors, naturopaths, and chiropractors have been recommending a natural form of lithium that’s safe and effective as both a mood stabilizer and overall neuroprotective nootropic, a cognitive enhancer that improves memory and motivation in normally healthy individuals. This is lithium orotate. As expected, the pharmaceutical compound, lithium carbonate, has long-term side effects created from renal (kidney) damage and hypertension (high blood pressure) and rapid weight gain. Even so, lithium carbonate was considered psychiatry's last sane drug until the pharmaceutical industry's take-over of psychiatry with newly-designed, dangerous drugs, starting in the 1990s. For around 30 years, holistic Dr. Jonathon Wright, MD has been using lithium orotate on his Washington State Tahoma Clinic patients and himself. He declares: "I’m convinced that lithium is an anti-aging nutrient for human brains. And there are also some very strong reasons to believe that lithium therapy will slow the progression of serious degenerative mental problems, including Alzheimer’s disease, senile dementia, and Parkinson’s disease."

Pediatric Psychiatrist Committed Research Fraud on Children for Experimental Psych Drug

Newly obtained records raise additional concerns about the research and oversight of Dr. Mani Pavuluri, a star pediatric psychiatrist at the University of Illinois at Chicago whose clinical trial studying the effects of the powerful drug lithium on children was shuttered for misconduct. A ProPublica Illinois investigation earlier this year revealed that the National Institute of Mental Health ordered the university to repay $3.1 million in grant money it had received to fund Pavuluri’s study. Parents of at least eight children who participated in Pavuluri’s trials contacted UIC after learning she had violated research rules, a larger number than the university previously disclosed. Among other findings, NIMH concluded Pavuluri tested lithium on children younger than 13 though she was told not to and failed to properly alert parents of the study’s risks. A university investigation concluded she falsified data to cover up the misconduct, according to documents. The ProPublica Illinois investigation found that UIC officials didn’t properly screen or monitor Pavuluri’s research — and then, after realizing she had broken rules, continued to promote her expertise to the public as she maintained an active medical practice for years. She resigned from UIC effective June 30. NIMH demanded the refund, a rare rebuke, after determining there had been “serious and continuing noncompliance” by Pavuluri as well as failures by the university’s institutional review board, or IRB, a faculty panel responsible for reviewing research involving human subjects.

Are Teen Neurodevelopmental Disorders Caused by Vaccines and Other Toxins being Masked by Big Pharma as “Mental Health” Disorders?

American teenagers are drowning in a rising tide of disorders: behavioral issues, sensory problems, depression, self-harm and more. The medical-pharmaceutical industry has rushed to brand all of these problems as mental health conditions treatable with profit-generating drugs. Few are talking about the broader neurodevelopmental crisis—triggered in part by environmental toxins such as the mercury and aluminum in vaccines—that is sabotaging children’s neurodevelopment and sapping adolescent resilience. Why do children and teens currently have such high levels of mental and neurologic dysfunction? Although the pro-Pharma health care system in the U.S. makes it socially taboo to say so, vaccines and other pharmaceutical products are some of the most likely culprits. As has been discussed in other World Mercury Project articles about children’s health, this supposition is backed by sound science. However, if Big Pharma gets their way, mental illness will become “a normal and acceptable part of childhood,” conveniently letting the manufacturers and purveyors of environmental toxins, such as vaccines, off the hook.

School Shootings: Psychotropic Drug Use by School Shooters Merits Federal Investigation

The Citizens Commission on Human Rights (CCHR), a mental health watchdog that has investigated school and other mass shootings since the Columbine High School Shooting in 1999, warns about pouring hundreds of millions of dollars into more mental health services in response to the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting on Valentine’s Day. While the nation is reeling from this senseless tragedy, CCHR cautions against acting on mental health experts’ advice to increase mental health funding or to enact stronger involuntary commitment laws as violence prevention measures. The group says an investigation into the shooting must include what psychotropic drugs the alleged shooter, Nikolas Cruz, has been prescribed and the fact that he had apparently undergone “behavioral health” treatment which did nothing to prevent the murderous outcome. Cruz had been diagnosed at various times with “developmental disorder,” “depression,” “autism” and “ADHD,” according to a Florida Department of Children and Families Services (DCFS) report. It was also reported that he had OCD or “Obsessive-compulsive Disorder.” CCHR says that teachers and police have put an unwitting and unearned trust in behavioral-psychiatric experts—a trust that has failed not only them but also Cruz, children and teachers who died at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, their families and a nation now mourning.

Withdrawing from Psychiatric Drugs: A Holistic Approach

Drugs such as cocaine and heroine are difficult to stop after daily use for a month or longer. The longer the more difficult. But there are “legal” pharmaceutical drugs that are as difficult or worse, depending on the length of time one is placed on them by a physician or psychiatrist. It’s not unusual to be on one or more of those types of drugs for several months to several years. A 2103 study discovered that one in six Americans is on a psychiatric drug for nervous and emotional issues, up from one in ten disclosed in a 2011 government Medical Expenditure Panel Survey (MEPS) report. And many were initially put on these drugs for lifetime use or have become addicted after even a few months of using them. Many are seeking to get off psychiatric pharmaceuticals. Their attempts often fail due to the difficulty of tapering off alone. They usually speak of “waves and windows” that can go on for years after getting off anti-depressants and other psychiatric drugs. Waves are surges of needing or craving the drug while overwhelmed with the symptoms that were supposedly held off with the drugs. Windows are lucid occasions of being free from disturbing thoughts and emotions. There are several natural options for getting more windows and less waves while tapering.

Sexual Abuse Epidemic in Mental Health: Psychiatrists Raping Women and Molesting Children

Citizens Commission on Human Rights (CCHR), a mental health industry watchdog, says that amidst the growing reports of sexual abuse and intimidation coming out of the entertainment industry, the systemic sexual abuse of patients within the mental health industry must be brought to public attention. According to CCHR, since allegations of sexual abuse against Harvey Weinstein broke, 15 psychiatrists and psychologists have committed sexual violations, including those criminally charged or found guilty, had their licenses to practice suspended or revoked, or had civil charges brought against them for sexual violations. Kenneth S. Pope, Ph.D., reported in his book, Sexual Involvement with Therapists: Patient Assessment, Subsequent Therapy, Forensics, that research studies also suggest that at least 50 percent of all therapists will encounter a least one patient who has been sexually abused by a previous therapist. Several of the sexual assaults were against children, one as young as nine years old while one was only four years old. Dr. Pope says that in a national survey of therapist-client sex involving minors revealed girls as young as three and boys as young as seven were abused. Laura S. Brown, a clinical professor of psychology at the University of Washington, said any sex between therapist and patient “is an abuse of a vulnerable person by a person that should know by virtue of their training that this is harmful.” Further, “This is not just an affair.” There have been 15 psychiatrists and psychologists who were criminally charged or found guilty, had their licenses suspended or revoked, or had civil charges brought against them for sexual violations with patients since early September 2017.
